Otto Nimbus, Ampharos, Male

Personality: Calm and intelligent. Also rather quiet and reserved.

Motivation: To re-gain his former status.

Biography: Before the Moere invasion, Otto belonged to a high-class family in Sabi. His parents were both very skilled magic users, and wanted Otto and his younger sister, Liana, to follow in their footsteps. They sent him to one of Sabi's top academies to study magic, and a few years later, they sent his sister, as well. For a while, his studies were his top priority.

Most of his magic involved manipulating electrical currents. It took years for him to gain full control of it, but once he did, he was able to use it rather effectively. As he continued to study at the academy, his skill with magic continued to improve. However, one day, his education was put to a halt.

Just when Otto was about to graduate, his parents demanded that both he and Liana come home. This was rather unexpected, considering they were the ones that made him go there in the first place. After they explained what was going on, though, he understood. The Moere army had launched an attack on Sabi. It would only be a matter of time before they broke through their defenses.

Thankfully, they were able to flee before Moere's military forces arrived. They knew they wouldn't be able to survive in the wildlands, so they hid in the woods near what used to be their home. It certainly took some getting used to. They were always covered in dirt, and they all smelled. They had very little food, and had to constantly keep moving in order to avoid Moere's soldiers. They've been hiding for a while now, and so far, it's been working out surprisingly well.

Skills/Abilities: Otto is able to read and write, and is also able to use magic. Most of his magical abilities revolve around electricity. For example, he can shoot bolts of lightning at his foes, or generate an electric pulse that hits everyone nearby. He's also capable of creating a barrier that can block or weaken magical attacks.

Personal Effects: A filthy, worn-out white cloak, and a small dagger.
Trey's hit roll: 9 + 6 = 15
Zombie mage's dodge roll: 1
Trey's damage roll:(6 + 18 - 4)/2 = 10
Zombie mage's remaining HP: -2/0
Trey's remaining MP: 4/8
The zombie mage shot a fireball across the room, which thankfully didn't hit anyone, and the monk seemed to be making it's way towards Robert, who went to grab another torch. Dorisma seemed to be capable of handling the monk, so Trey went for the mage. He used the same spell again, this time doing a bit more damage. The mage had several bits of burning flesh falling off of it, but it was still alive. "One more hit will probably finish this one off." he said.

Upon hearing this, R'lyeh turned to the mage, and began to heal it. Trey was about to stop him, but then the zombie stopped moving and turned to dust. For some reason, the healing magic damaged it. Unfortunately, Trey didn't have any healing magic, so he'd have to rely on fire. He wasn't sure if Robert could, but if that was the case, he'd have a better source of damage than the torches everyone was hitting them with.

Trey was keeping an eye on the two zombies that remained, but neither of them seemed to be coming after him at the moment.

Name: Dexter Flint
Species: Growlithe
Gender: Male
Moves:
-Bite
-Roar
-Ember
-Howl

Bio: Dexter was born and raised in Frigid Peak, a small town far to the north of Allure. There was snow on the ground year-round, which made it nearly impossible to grow crops. It was a fairly successful mining town, which was a good thing, since trade was very important to keep it going. Without the ability to grow their own food, they had to constantly import food from the south. Trade caravans heading along the long, winding road that lead to the town weren't an uncommon sight.

Dexter was the oldest of 8 pups, and as a result, was also the biggest and strongest. He would constantly pick on his younger siblings, as well as other Pokemon that happened to be smaller than him. He had several friends that would help him bully other Pokemon. Sometimes they would do harmless things, such as exploring the town's outskirts. Most of the time, though, they were up to no good. Dexter and his gang of troublemakers soon gained a bad reputation among the townsfolk.

Eventually, the townsfolk, and even Dexter's own family got tired of him and his group causing trouble. They were all cast out of Frigid Peak, and it was made very clear that they wouldn't be allowed to come back. Dexter and his group wanted to get back at the people who had banished them from their hometown, but at the moment there was nothing they could do. Just when they were ready to give up, they stumbled upon something amazing.

There was an abandoned outpost not too far from Frigid Peak that had a worn-out trading caravan parked nearby. Okay, it may not have been that amazing, but it gave Dex an idea. If the residents of Frigid Peak were going to treat them like bandits, then they were going to be bandits. There were plenty of supplies left at the outpost that allowed them to fix it up. They then set off in search of one of the caravans on the road to Frigid Peak.

Their first raid was easy. There was normally nothing in the area that posed a threat, so they caught the driver completely off guard. They managed to get away with all of the supplies that the townspeople were trading. It was filled with all kinds of gemstones and ores, which they managed to sell on the black market.

After they'd raided several more caravans, some filled with ores from the mines, and some filled with supplies that the townspeople needed, the traders were beginning to get smart. They brought bodyguards with them to fend off the Dexter's bandits, and sometimes took a different path up the mountain. There were also guild members coming after them. This made things a lot more difficult, but they managed to avoid getting caught, and most of their raids were still successful.

Everything changed, however, when a team of guild members found the outpost that Dex's group was using as their headquarters. They waited until night to attack, and ended up catching the group of bandits completely off guard. They put up a fight, but most of them ended up getting arrested that night, including Dexter. The group of bandits disbanded after that. Dexter never saw any of them again.

He spent several years in prison after that. He constantly got into fights, one of which resulted in a scar on his chest. The guards were douchebags. He was confined to a cell most of the time. Needless to say, he hated it there. He was forced to sit behind the bars of his cell, waiting for freedom. After what felt like decades, he was finally released.

Appearance: Dexter's fur is a lot thicker than normal due to the climate he was raised in. He also has a large scar across his chest, but it's mostly covered by his fur.
Differences: He has Howl, which he inherited from his Mightyena father.
The mage had quite a grip on the staff, and Trey was having a lot of trouble prying it out of his hands. While he tried to release the mage's grip, he noticed several of the corpses rise, and thankfully he jumped away just in time to escape a swing of the mage's staff. He then tried to engulf the zombie in flames, like he'd done to that other zombie outside, but that didn't work nearly as well this time.

"What's going on?" Trey asked. "That zombie outside died in one hit from the fire spell. What makes this one so special?"
He backed up, trying to put as much distance between himself and the zombie mage as possible, but he didn't get as far as he wanted to. The treasure room was tiny compared to the outdoor environments he was used to fighting in.
Fixed it
Zombie mage's hit roll: 2 + 4/2 = 4
Trey's dodge roll: 11 + 9/2 = 15.5

So, he dodged.

Trey's hit roll: 18 + 12/2 = 24
Zombie mage's dodge roll: 10
Trey's damage roll: (2 + 18 - 4)/2 = 8
Zombie mage's remaining HP: -12/0
Trey's remaining MP: 6/8

No, no, he's talking about back when we did this on the other forum. We didn't have a post order, we made shorter posts, there were more of us, and there wasn't a specified OOC 'tab', so it led to about 17 pages appearing overnight. Poor Kabling was helping me with that thread, and had to sift through every post just to double check that everything was okay. Unfortunately, we still didn't catch everything, and at one point, someone snuck in a post where their scientist character basically invented a nuke, and had that character's specifically-created villain use said nuke on the guild. Just a friendly reminder, everyone: Don't be a poketwo (the username of the guy who used that character).

Those were dark days. I remember ending up on my own most of the time. Every time I tried to interact with the other characters, I'd fall asleep and then everyone would be in a completely different place by the time I woke up.

The question now is... CAN @Ridlins KEEP UP WITH OUR ANTICS?!

I CAN'T KEEP UP. I'VE GOT AN APP TO FINISH, AND I NEED TO POST IN ToM. I AM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW.
I'm joking, of course. I've got a lot of time on my hands atm.

Also catching up on OOC now that I have some downtime, and a Growlithe would make Falvev more at ease, he used to know one. Also yes, they're adorable, and they change into fluffys. I would be the third person in the team by the way Ridlins! ^^ Falvev just didn't want to join with just two people, and a bit more specifically, just Thassa.

I wonder how Falvev will react when he finds out that my character spent time in prison.
I've already decided his species (Growlithe). I also prefer to use characters that I created.
I was thinking of making him an ex-bandit. I haven't worked out a lot of the details yet, though.
