For why's? It extends at half the speed of the 4000, and requires 4 additional charges to make it extend that far. Im not complaining per se, more challenges and the like.

Unless you wanna go fairly basic, then I can use Worren(Fire/Heat + Weapon Summoning/Manipulating)
You don't really need anything fancy to construct a story. Just resolve not to use the powers. And go from there.
