So, I've decided I'm going to systematically face everyone in the rankings, in a ranked fight, at some point. So that I have a variety of matches on my list, instead of just the same few people I enjoy sparring.
Clone Evvie will be more educated and skilled with a sword but not quite as physically able, being more average for her tier. She'll have some unique special attacks such as fire sniper, a flame breath concentrated more like a beam. Her scales will be red in color so will be nicknamed Red even if she calls herself Evvie. She still thinks she's the real Evvie because in her mind it's always been like that so anyone who says otherwise is lying. Plus a lot of people might not know for sure she had green scales anyways because legends might not always mention that fact. She was created just after Evvie entered the multiverse so technically never was on her supposed home world.

Red can fight snake boy or whats his face and Evvie can get into her boxing match.

Evvie can either be called Greenie or Evvie if they believe she's the real one. I just thought of something. They are Christmas colors so might be cool to be in some Christmas related drawing.

Do you want that fight to be ranked, or not? Lol. If not, then it'll have little to no bearing here, unless we choose to make it a background element to our respective stories.
The feint Tre'Yan threw worked like a charm. The professional boxer in him could pinpoint the exact moment Cho, his yet to be named opponent, fell into the deceptive trap.

But man, oh man, did Cho make up for it masterfully. Had Tre'Yan been a novice, or anyone without any real combat training, he might would have missed it.

But Tre'Yan was neither of those things. He was one of the top boxers in the gigaverse, and he would prove it now. As effortlessly as breathing, his knees bent puttign him into a crouch.

He stepped forward as Cho fell into the trap of the feint, Tre'Yan didn't blame him for the hiccup, many others fell for it as well. Here, nothing was different! Tre'Yan, utilizing his speed and footwork, stepped in an executed one of his most basic, yet powerful counters. It was commonly called a 'One-Two', a quick shot with the lead hand, in this case, Tre'Yan's right hand, and then a powerful follow up with the hand in waiting - Tre'Yan's left.

The counter would effectively use the moment gathered by Cho as he came forward, with the momentum gathered by Tre'Yan. That's what made counters so deadly; it was an application of momentum coming from either direction.

Tre'Yan's hands would be a near blur, aimed directly at the face of his opponent, hoping to, if not end the match out right, rattle the brain of his opponent, assuming the dead had one, and disorientate him for the rest of the match.
Blade already in hand, Kei'taro was ready to engage the Owl. The blades along the wall shot towards the creature and attached themselves to the wings of the Key Holder; who then launched into an attack. The pattern of it was simple to figure out.

The creature headed straight on, which in hindsight, would probably have displayed a lack of skill in battle, especially since it gave up all pretenses of advantage.

Perhaps he could end the battle in one stroke. As the Owl came, quick as a trained runner, Kei'taro quickly ducked low and slashed Kei'taro down in vertical strike, following the path of his body. Essentially, the blade was aimed to go from top to bottom, following along the path Kei'taro took.

That path, as it were, was also right where the Owl would arrive just a moment later. The blade, if successful, would bisect the bird symmetrically down the center. Kei'taro, at the same time, stopped charging his Kusanagi ability, and instead began sending power into the Eight Legged Freak. This was to enact a deadly combination of the skills of the two keys.

A back up plan in case things didn't quite work out with this one stroke.
Tre'Yan didn't actually make the punch, it was a feint to try and throw Cho off. hahah.
I will probably work on a post a bit later tonight. Since Barti hasn't shown up I will put my plans for our fight on hold until she returns. As for who's team Scion will join. I am not sure. He may join the first person to ask, or make up his own team and declare Dennis his "Godly Sponsor" and just run as a wild card faction. I will of course interact in the back with people, but will try not to walk right into a conflict. Unless they hurt Evvie. He might throw a punch if someone tries to hurt a cute girl.

The 'teams' are all the characters you use to gather points.

Hahah
Nah, it's not a terrible amount.
That actually sounds pretty reasonable. It is the kind of system that, after a time, makes it hard to level grind, so it promotes fair fighting. However, I don't think having to fight other people needs to be reinforced. We all agree to our own fights and can deny or accept fights based on our own judgement. It isn't like some jerk is going to suddenly start challenging all the new guys and wooping their buts for easy points. I mean I'd think that most new people won't even participate in ranked matches until they are confident that they can win. Just trust the players to have some common sense on the matter.

On a different note. Who has failed to answer your quarries about the ranked fights?

Several people. I asked everyone who hasn't been involved in a fight at all, or recently, unless they've been around, if they were still interested. 3 people answered, the rest didn't.
