And then you wake up because sadly that can only exist in the land of dreams.

I'm really not a dog person (crippling cynophobia will do that to you) but I would protect Pombon with my life.

Maria Shepard, lonely church on the hill

Was she still sleeping? Could it all just be a wonderful dream? No, it really seemed like it... There was not one but two people in her church! And it wasn't even a Sunday! They didn't look like any member of her flock that she recognised, though (not that it was difficult to forget what they looked like, as there were only three of them to begin with)...

...New converts! Finally, someone else in this pagan land had decided to embrace the one true God as their lord! Well, she hoped so at least. Eagerly, the tiny blonde nun rushed out to greet the new faithful...

Maria was rather disappointed when, upon nearing the two, she discovered that one was simply lazing about and the other was, in fact, using the pews as a bed. She was even snoring, rather loudly too. How could she disgrace the house of our Lord in such a way!? This wasn't some kind of sleazy inn, this was a holy place of worship!

"Um... Would you kindly wake up, please?" she said, gently prodding the green haired girl. She didn't want to be too forceful, since... Well, she was resting rather peacefully, and it wouldn't do well for a nun to lose her temper. She was the sole representative of the one true God in Gensokyo, after all; she had to give a good impression to all.
At the moment, I seem to be considering either Renee Montoya as The Question (she's actually my favourite Batfamily character, although I'm really worried I'd screw her up because of this ^^;) or an OC Batgirl (because I am sure I would screw up one of the canon ones), but I'll think more about it later. I got barely any sleep tonight and my mind isn't working too well as a result. ^^;

I will admit that my initial fallback idea was Supergirl, but since Zeus doesn't want her to be around just yet that's kind of not an option anymore. XD
Oh right, um... I'm honestly considering changing characters right now, since amongst other things I can't seem to be inspired by my current one. I mean I liked the idea, but I just can't seem to write her at all.

So I guess I'll just be brainstorming new character ideas for now.
So... Natsumi and her armoured form are no longer just crappy rough sketches so yeah.

Hopefully will get a post out later today. It's just been so hot lately that I've had trouble focusing due to being kind of sick most of the time. ^^;
I take it St. George is a card-carrying member of the BNP, right? XD

Hmmm, I do have some ideas for villains, so I guess I need to write them up. ^^; Hmmm.
Crappy post is crappy but hey, back in the game I guess.
Natsumi Aida, the Eldritch Knight - DANGER ROOM

Ah, hubris. How it makes fools of us all. The moment the simulation started, Natsumi took a moment to reevaluate her previous overconfidence for this excercise. It quickly dawned upon her that whoever designed this scenario either firmly believed in the Spartan way, or was a complete psychopath. And here she thought this was going to be easier than what she was doing earlier...

Well, she'd heard rumours about Pariah, even if she'd never met him in person. She couldn't remember if George had, but that didn't really matter right now. What matters is that she was starting to think that the rumours were true if a training exercise he'd created was making her wish she was trying to stop a lesser deity encroach on our world instead. Thankfully, her comrades had been able to block the initial onslaught, although she didn't escape unscathed; still, it didn't take much effort to wipe the paint splatters from her face. As all hell broke loose, she tried her best to keep out of harm's way, although the multiple paint stains on her coat showed just how futile an attempt this really was.

She needed to come up with a plan, and fast. If she just sat around doing nothing, she'd be kicked off the team, which in turn would bring shame to her lineage. The last thing she wanted to do was something that would ashame George, after all. Having seen Strix and Changeling head to the roofs, she quickly realised they'd need help... There were far too many snipers up there, after all. Muttering something in some dead language, she backed off into a corner and faded from sight... Only to appear moments later inside the sniper's nest, emerging behind the sharpshooters. Hopefully, they would be too focused on their targets to notice her until it was too late.

"Domdyrho Pcygo Cthulhu," she intoned, whipping a hand out dramatically as her spell was cast. Five inky black tentacles burst out from the floor, and immediately lashed out towards the snipers, trying to restrain them or at the very least pose a distraction. Seeing how there were one too many targets, she balled up a fist and threw a powerful punch at the back of the sixth sniper's head, hoping to knock him out before he could do anything in retaliation.
EDIT: Um, nevermind. Bit overloaded right now. ^^;
I usually see it translated as "what a drag"... Or at least that's how they always translated it in Jojos.

...Anyways, at least have the start of a post written up now. This is probably going to turn out pretty bad, though. Hurm.
