I might try this again, now that I've actually watched some Strike Witches. But we'll see how things go I guess.

...Okay, I am saying one thing and then letting this lie. The problem seemed to be that the handwave he was using... Well, he wasn't going through with it. He wanted to base his power on real world physics, and if that's the case he should've stuck by it. As someone who actually reads a lot of comics (just so Yog can stop saying that to make himself feel like his opinion is superior to everyone else's), I'm fine with any explanation for a powerset... As long as they run with it and stick by it. Honestly, it's why I prefer using magic-based powersets to more science-based ones, because that way I don't end up writing myself into a corner when I try to figure out how something would actually work. Whilst pseudo-science is all well and good in something like the DCU where the laws of physics are not exactly realistic, I'm going to quote the OP:

Which wasn't taken into account. He argued in the character bin that his character's powers were supposed to work like this, but when a problem was pointed out about it, well... Yeah.

I'm still waiting for you to explain why you think Natsumi is overpowered, Yog, since I am genuinely concerned about this especially in light of recent events and would like to make sure she works better, but yeah, um... Anyways.

The Flash has the Speed Force, though, which actively works to prevent all of the negative side-effects of superspeed.

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just pointing out that your references don't exactly work in this case due to things like The Flash coming from a setting with a far softer approach to science. Whilst this is still somewhat soft, the OP did say things should be played realistically.

I actually purposefully went over all of Natsumi's spells to make sure they weren't overpowered, which is one of the reasons why she took so long to write up. The only one of her abilities that could be considered gamebreaky is summoning Nyarlathotep, and even then that's only without the proper precautions that she's not going to do without because summoning Nyarlathotep without setting up a vast amount of precautions beforehand would be a very, very, very stupid thing to do and the first thing that would happen afterwards if she did so would be her death.

If you still think she's overpowered, though, please read over her and point out what's wrong with her. I don't actually like playing as overpowered characters, as I find that rather boring and unchallenging, so if she's too powerful I'd really like to know, and know how.

I'm... Somewhat interested, depending on further information I guess. Hopefully I'll do better than I did in the last One Piece RP I was in, although hopefully I won't get hit with alternating periods of block and illness again. ^^;

I've been following the omnibuses, so I'm still partway through the Skypiea arc. I hope that's okay and doesn't screw up anything. Then again I've seen most of Gokaiger and that's kind of the same, right? >.> <.<

They weren't being rude. I already explained that. Drop this now. "I have a problem with something that could affect a lot of other characters" is something that needs to be openly discussed; insults towards people for showing concern about something should be kept to PMs.
