...Anyone else think that Slade Wilson looks kind of like Big Boss when he's not wearing the mask? XD Anyways, will get my post out something over the weekend. Been a bit busy lately I guess and not been able to focus on it. But hopefully will get something out soon-ish. ^^;

Reading through the OOC, I seriously hope that this rp doesn't evolve into the Teen Titans cartoon, that show is such an insult to comic books and disrespects the series it is based off of. My only advise is to stick to the comics

You're part of a very small minority there, unfortunately. The general consensus amongst comics fans is that the show is a loving homage to everything that makes comics great: inventive, witty, and most importantly fun (something that a lot of comics seem to lack nowadays, much to their detriment). It also did things like make Terra sympathetic rather than the one-dimensional monster that she was in the comics, has the definitive version of Starfire (don't even get me started on what the New 52 did to her), and generally treated the source material with respect and reverence. Not going to say it's my favourite superhero cartoon (that would be the 90's X-Men show), but this is the first time I've ever seen someone with a negative opinion of it, let along one filled with such venom. ...Of course, I will admit I have an attraction to the weirder side of comics stuff, so the tone and general atmosphere of the show appealed to me greatly. I mean, my favourite DC comics include stuff like Sandman, Grant Morrison's runs on Animal Man and Doom Patrol, and 52. So naturally I'm a fan of a show that does what it did and doesn't take itself too seriously, and gives the audience the occasional wink. Really, comics trying to take themselves too seriously (and honestly failing at it) is probably partially to blame for the dwindling sales and readership they've been suffering from for years on end now. Basically, I don't agree with what you say at all, I am willing to defend my stance on this opinion, and it's not likely to budge anytime soon.

Gotham City Tales (OOC and IC)

So, turns out the Katana idea was a dead end. Oh well. ^^; Trying to figure out other ideas, but I'm not sure if any of them are actually all that good, but... First idea is Montoya!Question, but firstly I'm not sure if whoever it was planning to use the original Question is still around and wanting to do that, and secondly she's still my favourite Batfamily character thus I would most likely be paralyzed when trying to write her out of immense fear of screwing her up. ^^; Second idea was a semi-reformed Harley Quinn, but I'm not sure how well that would work, especially seeing how Mistah J is going to be the focus of the next arc. Kind of worried it would seem like I'm trying to hog the limelight with that, so yeah. Third idea was Sparrow, who is technically from the Amalgam universe and is a fusion of Robin (can't remember which one) and Jubilee. Would obviously try and remove any connection she has to Amalgam or Marvel, but I feel like that would not only be cheating a bit but wouldn't be accepted in the first place. Last idea was... Anarky, although this may or may not be a joke. I am not sure how serious I am about this one. Hmmm. So any thoughts/preferences/death threats? ^^;

Yeah, I was going to mention that this seems to veer more towards the over-the-top supervillains, aliens and gorillas with jetpacks side of superheroes than the grim 'n' gritty crime bosses and drug lords kind of stuff, but I never got the time. ^^; Oh well. ...Amusingly enough, the god Anansi is actually a thing in the DCU, so I now kind of want someone to show up who'd be confused by Patriarch's character's supranym buuut I'll try and curb that urge. XD Anyways, hopefully will get a post up soon if my connections stops being stupid for a moment.

...As co-GM I would like to apologise for the unpleasantness that occured, and that I was away for a few hours during it. I will strive to make sure it never happens again. Sorry for any inconvenience or upset caused. Anyways, moving on... Spandez looks pretty awesome to me, so unless Krab has any objections he's accepted.

Rude / Abusive poster

As co-GM of that RP, going to elaborate a bit that he's refused to be cooperative when asked for elaboration, as well as shown major auteur license and obnoxiousness. In addition, they have continued to act like a petulant child whilst accusing everyone else (who were acting as mature as possible given the situation) of being childish, as well as stating that the main site rules don't apply to them because they weren't specifically stated in the OP (despite it actually saying that the main site rules apply).
