Argleflargle just putting a placeholder backstory thing for now since I've been banging my head against the wall for too long trying to write up backstory.

• Name: Rin
• Age: Twenty-something
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Whee.
• Method of Travel: A Warp Star, called down by phone when needed. For the purposes of the RP, it can only travel between dimensions.
• Powers: Copy Essence Deluxe, embodied in the watch-like device Rin wears. This allows her to store several different powersets (a total of 19 pre-determined ones) and switch between them at will. To begin with, though, she only has access to three of these: Parasol, Beam and Copy. With the exception of Parasol, each of these powers also equips her with a different piece of headwear. Note that Rin only gains the different copy abilities; she is not Kirby and thus does not have his other innate abilities, especially the ability to fly.
  
  • Parasol: As the name suggests, this arms Rin with a parasol. The parasol is seemingly indestructible (or at the very least a lot more durable than parasols usually are), although if taken away from her for about five seconds it will disappear until Rin reselects the Parasol power. It can be used as a makeshift club, as well as a parachute; depending on the wind currents it is also possible to use it to glide. Naturally, it can also be used as a regular parasol; in fact due to its durability it works pretty effectively as a shield even against things more substantial than rain.
  • Beam: The Beam power equips Rin with a red and yellow jester's hat and a magic wand that allows her to fire out energy blasts. Usually, this takes the form of a short ranged, weak whip-like beam, but by taking a short moment to charge up (roughly two seconds), she can fire out a larger ball of energy... Which is still not all that powerful, but is notably stronger than the whip.
  • Copy: Equipping her with a high-tech visor, this is the most unique and important power Copy Essence Deluxe has to offer Rin, for it is her method for gaining new Copy Essences. The visor includes a scanning device, and if something is scanned that matches certain parameters it will permanently upload a new Copy Essence to the Copy Essence Deluxe system. These parameters involve the thing being scanned to be some idealized form for the power to be copied from; for example, not just any old bladed implement will do for the Sword power, but if a blade of at least some reknown or a master swordsman is scanned then it will provide her the power. Naturally, this means that some Copy Essences are easier to acquire than others; for example, Cutter, Wheel and Yo-Yo will most likely be easier to acquire than Sword, Hammer or Plasma.
• Personality: Hammy, hotblooded, silly and something of a perv, with a notable love of boyish girls and girlish boys. Refuses to act her age most of the time, but when she does it's usually a bad sign. She has a strong sense of justice, and is quick to jump to the defence of anyone she feels has been wronged, but other than that she's kinda lazy. Rin is kind of a nerd, especially towards anime, and especially towards magical girls, super robots and men in spandex fighting rubber monsters. She also enjoys cooking, reading and random bouts of philosophy. Unfortunately, she also suffers from an inferiority complex and tends to put everyone else before herself, and has a habit of apologising far too much when she believes she has done something wrong.
• Starting World: Wherever anyone's at.
• Backstory: Originally, Rin was just your average young woman, if a bit nerdy. For the longest time, though, her life had seemed kind of... Aimless. She just drifted through each day, wishing for something more, longing for some excitement and adventure in her life... Screw it, she somehow fell into a portal, got flung into another universe, picked up the Copy Essence Deluxe watch thing and has been travelling the worlds for a few months now.

Tengoku: A Tournament RP

An RP Based off my RPGC Entries?

Tengoku: A Tournament RP

• Name: Mio Honda
• Age: 18
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: "Need a hand? ...Or six?"
• Personality: Mio is rather cheerful and friendly, and always happy to help someone in need. She doesn't really sweat the small stuff, and generally just tries her best to enjoy life. She can be a bit of a tease at times, and something of a flirt, but it's always well meaning.
• Skills: Due to having six arms, Mio rather quickly learned how to multitask and coordinate herself as best she can; she is anything but clumsy. She has an almost naturally aptitude for weaving and construction, and is currently studying medicine; she has in fact developed an antivenom for her bite in case of accidents.
• Abilities: For whatever reason, Mio was born with six arms and spider-like abilities. Her physical strength is far greater than her frame would suggest, and whilst she would be straining a bit she could potentially lift a small car above her head. She is also able to stick to surfaces and easily climb sheer walls, although she has trouble sticking to damp surfaces. From her fingertips she can shoot out a sticky, silk-like thread which she can use for weaving webs and tying up enemies, amongst other uses. Finally, her bite is venomous; whilst it is not lethal, it will cause temporary paralysis in most humans.
• Brief History: Mio never knew her real parents. When she was still a newborn, she was abandoned in a field, and were it not for a kindly young couple passing by close enough to hear her cries she would likely have died whilst still a baby. As such, she has no idea why she has her particular... Condition, but she's never let her differences keep her down for too long. Sure, she was initially bullied due to her freakish nature, but that soon stopped when her superhuman strength became apparent, and after that the worst she ever got was quiet scorn from a minority of her classmates. It never really bothered her, though, since most of the other kids thought that her spider-like abilities were pretty cool, and it was really neat to know one of those monster people that mostly lived in the city. And when she grew up, well, she decided to attend college in Tengoku, partially because it was the nearest city to her hometown but mostly because it meant she could meet more people like her and potentially find out just where she came from.
