I'm really not a dog person (crippling cynophobia will do that to you) but I would protect Pombon with my life.

Aw man, I can't believe I slept in!

That was dumb of her. She'd been so hyped for this that she could barely sleep, and... Well, that kind of explained it, really. Of all the stupid reasons to almost miss it... And so here she was, thundering down the street, her long blonde hair trailing behind her as she held dearly onto her hat. And in her other hand, she held her contribution to the event, her favourite video game OST of all time.

...Oh come on, the Brütal Legend soundtrack totally counted, right? At the very least, she could argue that it had the best final boss theme ever. Because... Because come on, Painkiller! Any game that used Judas Priest's best song as the final boss theme had to have the best one. Nothing could come close.

Her feet pounded against the floor as she raced into the apartment building. She didn't want to be late... Being late would be simply unacceptable. Note only did she strive to be as punctual as possible when it came to being on time for things, but... But the last time she showed up late somewhere, Dylan had stolen that hot Tifa cosplayer she'd been eyeing all day right from under her nose! She would never forgive him for that... Never! ...Even if it did lead to her hooking up with that one Reimu cosplayer. And they did more than make out, eheh... Sure, she came off better for it, but it was the principle of the thing! She would never forgive him for it! Theirs was a rivalry forged in blood and tears! And saliva. And...

No time to reminisce! she thought, as she approached the door at breakneck speed. Time for a dynamic entrance!

...And then she launched a flying kick through the door, landing perfectly in the center of the room. Pointing to her chest with her right thumb, she proclaimed...

"I... HAVE ARRIVED!" Spreading her arms out dramatically, she grinned wildly at her audience. Her... Rather small audience.... Honestly, it was no surprise that her expression quickly turned to one of mild disappointment.

"Aw man, I thought more people would be here by now..." Alexis sighed, slumping back into a chair and taking a handful of nachos. "I made that dynamic entrance for nothing!"

Tyler, with his Knight Solaire jacket on and his steel broadsword at hand,

Uh... We're not in the gameworld right now. Waving a broadsword about like that is just going to get you arrested. : |
Posting what I have so far, since it's basically everything except personality which I am having trouble figuring out how to word properly. But hopefully this gives a good idea of what she'll be like, I guess.

• Appearance: In costume as Masquerade. She wears a form fitting purple tunic, black gloves and a purple tophat, in addition to purple tights, a cape and a domino mask to conceal her identity. Around her waist is the obligatory utility belt. One thing to note is that she is actually wearing a wig and coloured contacts; she's actually a green-eyed, short haired blonde. She has a slim physique that fits her acrobatic abilities, and is around 5'6" tall. To offset her flamboyant superhero persona, she generally wears rather plain looking clothes when out of costume. Despite the fact that the mole under her left eye is a rather telling hint towards her true identity, Élodie does not even try to disguise it, as she feels there's no fun in a secret identity if she doesn't give people at least a chance to guess who she really is.

• Name: Élodie Lupin
• Alias: Masquerade
• Age: 23
• Gender: Female

• Power(s): Élodie possesses no superhuman abilities. Technically, she's a completely mundane human. However, she has trained all her life to be the world's greatest thief, leading her to possess certain skills that make up for her lack of superpowers. Her atheleticism, agility and acrobatic abilities are the best they could possibly be for a regular human, and she has trained in multiple martial arts, both armed and unarmed. She also possesses a decent array of detective skills; initially this was to help her stay ahead of the game when planning heists, but her insight into the criminal mind had helped her quite a bit since her switch to heroism. In addition, she is highly skilled in sleight of hand and stealth, allowing her to get the drop on those who would otherwise overpower her. Élodie is also a rather competant hacker; whilst she is hardly the best in the world, she's able to crack some pretty airtight security systems with relative ease. Finally, she possesses a talent for disguise, able to easily adopt different personas, and her slim figure allows her to easily pretend to be someone of a different build by bulking out her outfits.

• Limits/Weaknesses: Despite all of her training and fancy toys, Masquerade is just a mere mortal with no superpowers. She's ultimately just as easy to harm as the rest of us.

• Equipment: Masquerade's costume is made from an experimental material that she obtained through questionable methods (she stole it), which bares a striking visual resemblence to spandex and in fact shares its elasticity, but is also surprisingly tough, giving her some manner of protection against unarmed blows, knives and the like. Her cape is made from a bulletproof material, allowing her to use it to deflect small arms fire, and her gloves contain a one-shot taser charge each, allowing her to stun foes who get in too close. Her obligatory utility belt contains several useful gadgets and weapons, including a grapple gun, a stun baton, lockpicks, smoke and EMP grenades, a rebreather, a small amount of plastic explosives, electronic tracers, a miniature camera and cassette recorder, and several shuriken.

• Personality:

• History: Élodie never originally intended to become a hero. In the beginning, she was simply trying to live up to the legacy of the man she claimed descent from, the legendary gentleman thief Arsène Lupin. It is unknown if she really is descended from him or not, but what cannot be questioned is that she would truly be the heir to his legacy of larceny were it not for circumstances. Her whole life, she trained to become the greatest thief the world had ever seen, training both her body and mind to aid her in committing the perfect heist. All seemed to be going according to plan, until she actually tried to put her training into action. As a test of her skills, she decided to try and steal a priceless diamond necklace from a rather prestigious and thus heavily guarded museum; not because she wanted or needed it, of course, but just to see if she could. Everything seemed to be going fine to begin with. Her training had served her well, and she was able to slip past all of the security easily. However, she was not the only one who had her eye on the diamonds. As it turned out, a supervillain of some repute had also decided to steal it on that very same night. Naturally, when the two met each other, neither wished to back down and a fight broke out, one that lasted long enough to alert security and that ended just as the police arrived. Realising the plan had failed miserably, Élodie fled the scene, but was surprised when she saw the news the next day, about how a mysterious hero had defended the diamonds from this notorious villain. And... She decided to just roll with it, under the excuse that being a superhero was the perfect coverstory for why she'd be at crime scenes, and thus reinvented herself as the mysterious phantom of justice, Masquerade. But it seems like she does far more hero work than she does burglary, and the thefts she does commit all seem to be ones that would be seen as "heroic" from a point of view. For example, one of her most recent heists had her stealing some sensitive documents in order to take down a corrupt corporation who were a front for a major crime syndicate. But maybe she really is going soft... Maybe the life of a hero has proven too irresistable to the master thief...

How did I miss that? >.< Um, hurm...

...I'll try and figure out something, I guess.
Looking this over now that I'm finished, I'm a little worried this might be a little too silly. ^^; Hopefully it's okay, though.

• Name: Tira Misu
• Gender: Female
• Race: Selkie
• Age: 18
• Class: Thief Treasure Hunter
• Weapons/Magic: A seemingly limitless supply of knives. Just exactly where she keeps them is a mystery. The only magic she currently knows is Haste, something that comes in very handy in her profession.
• Appearance: Something like this.

• Personality: Cheerful and upbeat, although at least part of this is an act. Even though she tries her best to appear perpetually happy on the surface, she's actually rather irritable and quick to anger. This becomes rather noticable when she begins to issue thinly veiled insults, damned praise and general sarcasm (albeit cheery, upbeat sarcasm) at others. Of course, once she gets to know and like people she'll cut back a bit... But only a bit. She reserves the right to be sarcastic. Aside from this, her most notable trait is her wanderlust. She's joined the caravan mostly because she wants to see what lies beyond the Miasma for herself and, in the grand Selkie tradition, pilfer anything she finds that isn't nailed down or on fire. Of course, she's no common thief, despite her skills at sleight of hand, pickpocketing, lockpicking... She's a treasure hunter. She's out on an expedition to find treasure and take it home with her, even if said treasure already belongs to someone else. But she's definitely a treasure hunter, and not a thief. Tira does not take kindly to being refered to as a common thief.

• Bio: Tira's family would describe themselves as "Monetary Redistribution Agents", an important part of the economy who make sure no-one has their hands on too much wealth at any one time. This is, of course, a rather euphemistic way to say that they are little more than petty bandits. Being Selkies, of course, this is seen as a most noble profession, just as long as they bare in mind not to target other Selkies for their business. And Tira, well... She's been groomed into inheriting the family business once her father retires. She's perfectly fine with this, honestly; after all, it's a perfectly respectable career for a selkie. However, there's one problem with this: she really wants to get out and explore the world outside the Miasma, and her father isn't getting any younger... If she spent too long waiting, she would lose her chance. So when the latest caravan was recruiting members, she jumped at the chance and, with a half-assed excuse about taking the family business to an international level, she rushed off to join.

• Family Occupation: Bandits Monetary Redistribution Agents
I... Think they're in the same classroom? I think, um...
Um... Just realised that came off a little more demanding than I intended. ^^; Sorry.

And... They're in the classroom. ^^;
Hmmm, I could post now, but... Somehow I think I was too subtle in indicating that I kind of wanted someone to interact with Nadeshiko and Himawari. ^^; Since the only thing I can think of for them to do when left to their own devices right now is roll under the desks and make sweet passionate love and I think it's a bit too early for that, ahah. >.> <.<

XD oh right, forgot. Like how Mario (or "Jump Man") was secretly the bad guy of the Arcade Donkey Kong

And not so secretly the bad guy of Donkey Kong Jr.!
But bias aside (Kirby's Dreamland was the first game I ever owned so I am heavily, HEAVILY biased towards the little pink puffball), Mario or Kirby seem like good starting missions, really.
