Hmmm, if you need help with a backstory... Maybe he's an exile? He seems a bit less... Vicious than most fishmen, for one thing, so maybe they thought he was too soft and kicked him out?

I think my character kind of has to be the cook, seeing her intended powerset. XD So I don't think she can fill either of those roles, unfortunately.

Gokaiger? I never really caught onto it. More of a Kamen Rider guy, but not really.
I kind of find it easier to get into Riders than Sentai myself, too. ^^; Although the signature's a dead giveaway really.
