Yeah, my thoughts exactly really... Been listening to a lot of Gwar ever since I found out. And I love Gwar. I mean, I'm pretty much a fan of anyone who tries to bring theatricality to their music and shows (hey, it's why I like Kiss after all), and there was just so much imagination in all the Gwar lore... They were just a really fun band and it's really sad that that's them over now. Hurm...

Death Magnetic was a great return to form, yeah. And honestly, Load/Reload were decent albums, it's just that they were so different from the stuff they did before that, well... Unfortunately a lot of metalheads don't like change. XD

I would list off my favourite thrash bands, but that would just be the big four so yeah. ^^; But specifically Metallica and Anthrax.

Metallica are still my favourite band ever, though. Master of Puppets is my favourite album, and I even love the stuff they put out in the 90s. XD ...The only things I don't like that they did were St. Anger (and even then, realise they had to make it, that stuff on it could've been half-decent if chopped up a bit and recorded better, etc.) and that one thing with Lou Reed, but we don't talk about those.

At the very least, Cannibal Corpse have the silliest album covers. XD But yeah, my favourite death metal bands are Opeth, Death and, um, Dethklok. ^^;

...My favourite genre of metal will always be power metal, though, if only because it is the single hammiest and most hotblooded genre of music in existence.

Faiz Accel lasts ten seconds, breaks the sound barrier and has a cooldown time if I remember right. Kabuto's Clock Up seems to last however long they want it to and allows him to go at relativistic speeds, so fast that it seems that everything around him is frozen.

So big difference, really. XD

Eheh, it's cool. Anyways, it's not like I actually listen to a lot of the really extreme end of things anyways. The death/black stuff I listen to is usually more progressive or melodic than outright brutal. I mean, my favourite death metal band is Opeth, and half the time they sound like this:


Go on, listen to it. ...They did an entire album like that, even. And somehow got away with it without being branded sellouts. XD Although most of their stuff seems to mix that style with more brutal death metal stylings. A lot of the time in the same song, even. It helps that the lead singer has an utterly amazing voice; he can go from singing like an angel to roaring like a demon at the drop of a hat. XD
