Well, let's see... My notes have the ranger designations marked down as Red Stag, Blue Hercules and Yellow Atlas to begin with (since at the bare minimum it would've been a three ranger team, and those three colours are the ones that show up most often), with either Green Goliath, Pink Lady or Black Titan making up the numbers if I got more than three. I hope that helps. ^^; Red, Blue and Yellow have already been claimed, as you said, so yeah.

Also, I'm probably going to aim to get the OOC up over the next few days, hopefully, but we'll see how that turns out.

Yeah no. I kind of already have the sixth ranger planned out and was kind of going to play them myselves since... Well, otherwise there'd be one person hanging around waiting a while for their character to show up and there's a good chance they'd probably leave out of boredom. Also kind of planned them to not be more powerful than the others combined so yeah. Tendo is right out.

Also I would kind of like to just focus on having the team of five for now, so... Yeah.

And that's the other person posted too, which brings us to five rangers! So I'll hopefully go over some details later, but for now... Well, it's a really dumb time at the moment (05:00 to be precise) so I really should be sleeping. ^^; But we'll get stuff figured out tomorrow, okay?

Yay, interest! I know there's two other people one other person since one of those two just posted whilst I was writing this I've talked to who might have interest in this, so that should hopefully bring us to the full five. XD But we'll see how that turns out.

Anyways, it's kind of late so I'll discuss further details tomorrow. Thank you for showing interest in this idea, though, and hopefully this will be a lot of fun. ^_^

Millenia ago, the world as we know it almost came to an end. From out of the darkness crawled an evil entity known only as the dreaded Locust King and his malevolent spawn, the Deathswarm Hive. His power seemed absolute, and none could oppose him. The Deathswarm Hive's conquest of humanity seemed like an absolute certainty until a group of herioc youths, weilding mystical powers granted to them by Beetle Totems, suddenly appeared and against all odds and expectations... They began fighting the Deathswarm Hive back. Somehow, they were able to drive them back enough so that they could seal away the Locust King and his kin until such a time when the world was better prepared to face them. And so with the world saved, the tales of the Beetrangers who had fought so valiantly became lost in the realms of legend...

But now, the time has finally come! The Deathswarm Hive have finally broken free of their seal, and plan to fully awaken their leader, the vile Locust King! Mankind once again seems helpless against them... Until a new group of youths are suddenly chosen by a mysterious figure to become a new generation of Beetrangers! But the Deathswarm Hive and the Beetrangers are not the only factor in deciding humanity's fate... For another group has emerged, a mysterious corporation known as the Kabuto Foundation, who seem to have a vested interest in the Beetrangers and the battle that is to come...



So, this was an idea I had. I've seen a few sentai/ranger RPs floating around, but all of them seemed to simply be reboots of the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, and I thought... Well, maybe we can come up with something a bit more original than that. So here we are, I guess.

Basically, the Deathswarm Hive are poised to invade the world (ie. Japan) yet again by sending a single monster about roughly once every seven days, and to fight them off three to five people in their late teens (possibly ones with attitude) have been chosen. So far, so every sentai and ranger series ever. As the name and hopefully the pitch implied, their powers shall be based upon beetles (as, of course, will the obligatory giant robots)! Whilst their powers come from a mystical source, the mysterious Kabuto Foundation seems to be providing them with more technological based weaponry (including the obligatory giant robots).

And... I guess that's it for now. Anyone interested?

Gentaro and Nanoha would be the best of friends, really. Both go out of their way to make friends, both go above and beyond the call of duty in order to do the right thing, and they both have adorable girlfriends. XD
