...Actually I think I read the OP wrong. ^^; Will work on something else. But still interest.

To clarify: if the avatar we're using is of a specific character, is it okay to basically become a copy of said character in terms of appearance and powers?

Nervously, a small blonde girl peered from behind the carriage door, and froze when she saw people inside. Was it too much to ask for even one to be empty? She wasn't good with people, especially people she didn't know... It would've been much better if she could just hide in a carriage by herself, where she could quietly do some reading whilst she waited for the train to reach its destination. But this was the last carriage. What was she going to do now?

Mary had no time to think about this, though, as a screech from the cage held in her hands made her jump in shock. The tiny owl inside had woken up, and was fluttering about excitedly.

"W-wah! B-be quiet, Jayne!" she mumbled in a panic. "They... Th-they'll notice us if... If y-you don't..." But the owl would not heed her pleas, only growing louder and more excited.

The samurai listened as Toshiko explained the current case, although all she really needed to know was that something important had been stolen. She hadn't been hired for her detective work, after all; Toshiko had hired her for her body. She was strong and skilled with the blade, and was mostly going to be sticking around in case the situation turned violent. Hopefully, it would not... After all, despite her indomitable fighting prowess she cared little for violence, and wished that this would have a peaceful conclusion.

Time would tell whether her wish would be granted...

Interested, but the only ideas that seem to be coming to mind right now are either based on Kamen Rider, or magical girls. XD I'll see if I can think up something more fitting, I guess.

I am considering playing Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld based somewhat on the DC Nation shorts version (since whilst I love the original version, I really like how they modernized her too much not to use the new version), but we'll see how that turns out.

...I think I've misinterpreted a lot of the OP. The thing about the red suit (I thought that you were saying that only the red Zord was unavailable), and the thing about the colours (I read it as you saying we were allowed to use non-canon colours for our rangers rather than the Red/Blue/Black/Pink/Yellow of the original but now I don't know what you mean), and I'm worried I've probably misinterpreted more of it if I'm making those kind of mistakes. So I should probably back out for now. Sorry for wasting your time.

I meant I was going to attempt to recolour the picture, not just say "now they're purple" and leave it at that. XD

I thought that meant it would be okay to change the colour. ^^; Sorry if I'm misinterpreting.
