That was one of the main reasons I dropped the manga, honestly; there were a whole bunch of characters I actually liked, but they were pushed off to the side so that Kishimoto could focus on characters I didn't like, eg. Sasuke. Uuuugh, Sasuke. How I loathe thee.

...Anyways, on a... Related? Unrelated? I don't know anymore... point, I always got my fix of morally grey shonen from Gundam. XD

I wouldn't know, I dropped soon after the start of Shippuden. Although from what I've heard this was a good idea.

But in Japan it is exclusively a female name, and this uses Japanese naming conventions. ...I honestly thought you'd intentionally given him a girl's name for some reason. ^^;

...Thinking about it, Wakana ever meeting Aki should be hilarious. She'd be so confused as to why she hears a girl's name but a guy's voice. XD
