Current Huh, has it really been three years since my last post? I guess I’m back at least to lurk around.

Dear life, I was told to get one but you are killing me. Can I get a refund on the extra hours at work and the lack of sleep for a bit of freetime. Yours dearly, The Coffeeholic

Sleep? You mean there is a such thing called a regular sleep schedule?

Alright posted! I've left Levi on his own for those who haven't posted yet and would like to have somewhere to go. If not, I'll probably move him in a future post as needed. Oh and @KaelRavenheart, feel free to have Owen read through her facade if you like
As he walked down the hallway Levi noticed a disturbance of a sort coming from his right side of his peripheral vision. Pausing his stride just long enough so that he could pull the transmission towards the center of his vision before continuing down the street with a slight off distant gaze, an obvious sign to most that knew him that he was busy looking as some sort of electronic transmission that existed beyond the normal spectrum of sight. Curious on what exactly was happening out on Riverwood's perimeter to cause a notification, Levi watched the security feed. Without any prior action before Levi checked the transmission from the staff he already knew that whatever was happening wasn't a threat. Validating his point, the young man watched as a few new people made their way to the school. He already knew that there a few new students that arrived the past few days but he was glad to that a few unexpected people also found their way to the school. It meant that a few more people were able to get out of the grasp of the X Force which also lessened the amount of collateral damage the group could cause towards the general public. For a group that supposedly out to keep the public safe, they caused more damage outside of those with the X21 gene than he liked. Although he knew that some at the school held ill feeling towards those who were normal, it wasn't something Levi appreciated and a loss of a life or injury to either a normal person or those that hold a mutation was something he saw as equally tragic. Not wanting to bring up the memories of his time spent with the X Force to surface, Levi quickly brushed the thoughts away and made his way towards the lounge. He was surprised to see how empty the room was especially on a Saturday but shrugged it off and moved towards the bookcase and scanned the different titles of mostly fiction books. There were not as many choices as could be found in the library but there was just enough good selections that anyone that was in the lounge could find something of interest. However with four years under his belt at the school and with reading being one of his favorite pastime, he either outgrew or already read most of the books found on the bookcase. With a sigh, he looked around the empty room. If someone was there he might have talked to them or challenged them to a game of Foosball but the room was surprisingly empty, assuming that the students must be either sleeping in or busy with the new arrivals. He'd go see them eventually but knew with the normal hype that would ensure to happen, they didn't an extra person around.

Unsure on exactly where she wanted to go, Mia gazed at the map as she tried to figure out where exactly in the school she was at and decide on which key location highlighted on the map that she might want to visit first. However before she could get too far on deciphering the map and figuring out which direction each item on the was located, she collided into another person, knocking the map out of her hand. At first Mia would have been fine brushing the incident off with a brief apology or an awkward smile as the two continued their way but the way the older teen responded quickly put Mia into a defensive state as she furrowed her brows, reciprocating the upset nature the teen was showing. "Hey, it's not all my fault. Take your own advise and we wouldn't have this problem." Mia said arguing over what the teen said when she heard the first two words and knew he was trying to blame her, almost missing what he said when he noticed who she was. A look of surprise crossed the girl's face but was quickly masked by her prior anger as she hoped that her confusion didn't give away the predicament of not knowing who the teen was. By the way the teen acted, the girl wasn't sure if she should trust the black haired teen knowing that she didn't want to be taken advantage of just because she didn't have her memory. "Yes, it's me. So what?" Mia retorted as she continued her angry facade, obviously not recognizing who the teen was. "Why do you care?"
Hello and welcome to the guild @Diinolas! I hope that you enjoy your stay here. You should have received a PM which would be a good place to start since it give you the information needed to start up here on the right foot. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask! Hmm, but you've gotten me curious about the book now. It might be an interesting thing to turn into a roleplay if you are comfortable with that.
Say, what day is it in the RP?
I stated September somewhere haha. Let's say it's the morning of a Sunday in the beginning of September.
Here you go@Lord Santa Anyways, I'll be getting a post up tonight.
Yes, I saw that. I'm not home right now so it'll have to wait until later on.
Hello and welcome back to the guild! Mahz has been busy working on the site so there might be some changes since the last time you came here. I hope that you enjoy your stay here yet again.
Hello [Enter Name Here] and welcome to the guild. You should have received another automated message in your PM on how things run here. Happy roleplaying! But in all seriousness, I hope that you have fun here and feel free to ask a question if you need any help. As for my likes and dislikes, I like playing my guitar, hiking and gardening. I'm not too fond of the cold, sitting around at home all day and okra.

“If you’re watching this, it must be day one for you.” A girl’s voice said as the video on the screen scanned across an unfamiliar building. “That’s Riverwood, the hellhole that you’re stuck in for the rest of your life.” The girl continued as she turned the camera towards herself with a serious face before quickly breaking into laughter. “Nah, I’m kidding. It’s a bit weird here with the strange things people can do but I guess I’m one of those strange people too since my memory never lasts for longer than a week or two.” “You might be wondering who I am or rather who you are—which is kind of redundant since we are the same person—so I’ll keep things brief just in case today is a school day or you’re busy with something.” The video clip continued, this time in a bedroom. “My name is Mia and this is our bedroom. We have a roommate but to be honest, I don’t really remember her name so the next time you make this video it might be good to put it in the video. We live in some sort of school called Riverwood for people with superpowers. Sadly I’m stuck with a lame one and can’t shoot lasers out of my eyes or talk to animals but I guess my power is useful.” Mia said with a slight tone of jealousy. “Anyways, I’ve recorded a few more videos with more information when you have time but for now finding one of the older kids would be a good start. Good luck Mia.” Turning her camera off as the video clip reached the end, Mia looked around the room which was supposed to be her bedroom with slight curiosity, deducing that she must have been a bit of a clean freak based off the condition of her side of the room. The concept of her often losing her memory was an unsettling one as she thought about all the students and teachers that she once considered as friends or someone she detested and knowing that without her memories wouldn’t be able to discern the difference between the two groups. She didn’t want to leave her room. Although she was already very confused and unsure even about herself, she knew far too well that once she stepped out the only place she knew as a comfort things would only get worse. The idea of crawling back into bed and under the covers was appealing to her and wished to do just that as she wished this nightmare of hers away but knew that it probably would be unwise knowing that soon or later someone was bound to go search for her. With a sigh slid off the foot of her bed and walked towards the door. Opening it, she was glad to see that it was empty. Taking a few steps out so that she was in the middle of the hallway, Mia looked down both sides of the hall as she wondered which way she should go. Then she heard it. It was faint at first but within seconds the distinct sound of footsteps was clear to her and not wanting to appear unsure standing in the middle of the hall quickly went back into her room and closed the door, perhaps a bit too loud that the person walking nearby would hear. “Oh god, this is stupid.” Mia mumbled as she felt her heart racing, knowing that she shouldn’t have to feel scared. “Come on Mia, you can do this. You left yourself a map with key places highlighted so that you won’t get lost. You got this girl.” Mia continued as she tried to give herself a pep talk already dreading the idea of heading back out again. However with her stomach grumbling she knew she should try and see if she could find something to eat for breakfast or find out when it was. Taking a deep breath, Mia grabbed the doorknob again and quickly left the room and closed the door behind her and chose a random direction to walk down before she could change her mind of leaving.

“Thank you again Mr. Roswell for this opportunity.” Levi said with gratitude inside the teacher’s office. “You do not know how much it excites me knowing that you and the others at Riverwood are wanting me to become a teacher. I’m am honored that you would ask but I still cannot accept the offer. I’ve thought it over this past month as you told me to do the first time you brought it up but I still cannot accept.” “It saddens me that you would say that Asher. I know you said that you are not ready or perhaps don’t see yourself as qualified for this position but my observation of you these past years make me believe that you are what we need at Riverwood.” The man said with slight displeasure after hearing Levi’s refusal. “I’ve vouched for you in front of the other teachers and they agree with me. You are the only one holding yourself back. We wouldn’t give you a teaching position right off the bat but rather let you be an assistant so that you can train yourself on becoming a teacher. I highly recommend that you take this opportunity. However, I cannot force you to do so. Think this over Asher, I don’t want to see this opportunity wasted because of a wrong decision.”
~
Walking down the hallway, Levi continued to think of what Roswell brought up. The position of becoming a teacher was appealing to him and knew that he would enjoy teaching but that ever nagging feeling of doubt was something he didn’t want to risk knowing that if he screw up while teaching it wasn’t something that would affect him but his potential students as well and being in charge of the future of a classroom of students wasn’t a position that he wanted to put himself into especially if his other side somehow made an appearance. His thoughts were momentarily halted as he heard a door slam up ahead and as he reached the door saw that it was Mia’s room. This must have been day one after a memory wipe and the poor girl was lost and confused. He wondered if he should knock on the door and see if she could use some help but decided against it, deciding to wait for her to leave her room on her own terms knowing that if he was to knock and come in it might do more harm than good and decided to continue down the hall. There was enough helpful people here so even if he wasn’t the first person to run into Mia after she left her room, someone was bound to help her.
No worries @Axilmeus Steel. I just wanted to make sure we are on the same page. As long as it isn't multiple times a day I'm fine. A minimum of three times a week works for me.
