The Aperture disaster is happening right now in Arc 2 which hasn't finished quite yet. Basically, Aperture is going to get destroyed. Metas are the super-powere people and Alto Ganze is just good at science really. On a side note, I'm playing him, but yeah. He's just good at science.

Alto looked behind him as he dodged a low-flying succubus’ claws, at the four who had just dropped down to join him. Oh, it’s those three guys from the video conference. He also saw some kind of mountain lion-man who was also fighting alongside them? He looked around and spotted a couple more mountain-lion guys in the hordes, but they weren’t wearing any shirts and they didn’t look as angrily depressed as the other guy. Well, help is always good… He thought as he slit another Naga’s throat and dodged a behemoth’s fist. Still, he couldn’t help but notice they hadn’t brought much fire-power between them. He knew that the cartoon girl that had landed near him could store things in another dimension or something but really, where was his fire power? Ahead of him, he saw a bunch of succubi and eye-wheels were finally starting to coordinate their attacks and they launched a wave of fire and lasers at the party. He raised his left arm in response and his shield sprang to life again. The lasers and fire dissipated harmlessly on the shield, the behemoth he had dodged slamming down on the shield in vain. His shield coalesced into a hemisphere again as he turned to address his new party members. ”Why didn’t you guys bring any fire-power?” He said as the barrier launched and knocked the behemoth off its feet, ”Can’t you guys read?”

Altzer Lantze

Name: Altzer Lantze Age: 14 Sex: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Height: 4’ 6” Weight: 89 lb Personality: Altzer is the type that charges into things, but not necessarily straight into things. He is somewhat intelligent, but he lacks wisdom and sometimes ends up plotting the best course of action for the wrong thing entirely. He’ll usually start with a sprint before stopping to think about things which can lead to many misunderstandings. He also usually disregards his personal safety a lot of the time, his reasoning being ‘I can always heal.’ Which can land him in some tricky situations, but he knows that he can escape almost anything if he charges fast enough. History: When Altzer was young, he was still quite short compared to the other children. This wasn’t helped by the fact that he was always told he was too young to do this, too young to know that, and he developed a youth complex that compelled him to over-compensate for his perceived youth and lacking height. Thusly, he started studying and training as best as he could. Eventually, his complex faded and over-compensation simply became an aspect of his personality instead of a driving need. He eventually grew to like extremes instead of just trying to be extreme. When his magic awakened, he couldn't be anything but ecstatic. Likes: Going fast, big explosions, breaking big things, over-compensating, grand stuff Dislikes: Being short, slow things, boring things, not being able to do stuff Starting Faction: His parents consider him too young for anything, but he wants to join all of them for some reason or another. Coliseum because of big money and big fights, police and military because he has a little bit of a crush on the princesses. Magic Shade: Yellow Manifestation: Rocket Lance – Altzer can manifest an extremely large lance which measures about 10 feet in length. The lance is coloured yellow and has a sort of shield over one side of the handle. It is held with the shield facing outwards. The shield isn’t very strong, merely heat-resistant. At the base of the handle and on the outside of the shield, is a sizeable rocket booster which can be activated at will to boost his speed even further or even provide a limited boost to his jumps. Altzer can lift and thrust with the lance without any problems but its length is sometimes troublesome. The handle stretches past Altzer so the rocket boosters don't burn him. The boosters have enough power to make him fly to a certain extent, but it is extremely difficult to control and quite dangerous. The handle extends about 1-2 feet behind him and he can only make one lance at a time. Musical Theme: Disloyal Order of Water Buffalos – Fallout Boy Sugar we're going down - Fallout Boy Other: The GM has approved the rocket lance, just as long as it’s not too OP. Also, he probably would have blood all over his face a lot of the time.
