Well are there any humans without vampires nearby? XD
@Dusksong She's such a meenie :(

The magierprinz jumped slightly as his delicate work was interrupted by many poundings upon his front door. Quickly closing his various books with little bookmarks or self-contained pens, he approached the front door and opened it to find that indeed there was a Lyssa and a somewhat disappointed looking Eith.

Of course, he would never deny his services to a lady, but this girl was ... strange, at a minimum. She was also incredibly touchy, which of course wasn't bad but -

"Hello, Lyssa. What can I do for you?" Unconsciously he had assumed a slightly defensive position as if he was preparing to be tackled.

The kitten frowned slightly as she was called a lightweight. "Mistress, your little kitten likes sweet things. I could never comprehend how this was your choice of drink." Maoin considered buying something more for herself, but she figured that if her owner didn't want to drink it would be unfair of her to enjoy some wine.

Of course the mention of a dragon, the kitten felt a little explanation was in order. "Mistress ... I don't think it's a fight you'd win. I got in a little ... scuffle with Lady Sorcha and her speed was simply incredible. It was hard to dodge and I simply think it couldn't be blocked ..." It was rather obvious the kitten was embarrassed by that whole ordeal she had gone through, especially since it had been caused by her disrespectful behavior towards one of her betters.

The crimson haired girl pulled her head back from the pillow, looking at it with a face of dried tears. The headmistress deserved a response of course, and she needed to drink something to replenish all those tears. After reaching for the glass of tea, she sipped on it in an attempt to calm down. A few more tears came out, but after wiping them off the stream seemed finish.

Once she had collected herself a bit more, she shot an accusatory look at Livia. "... you ... you aren't too ... helpful ... with them ..." It was incredibly irritating to know that this woman sitting next to her had all the answers, and yet she wasn't revealing any of them. She sipped on a bit more tea before realizing that was probably a mistake, at which point she stood up and took a few steps away from Livia, face expressing a degree of fear.

This woman was incredibly generous so far, but she had the power to make things a lot worse. And it wasn't right to take her frustration out on her. "... I-I'm sor-sorry ..." She raised her hands and revealed her palms, trying to appear as small and non-threatening as possible.

While perhaps she did owe Livia an apology, it would probably become apparent to the older woman that the girl hadn't eaten anything since morning and was likely tired after all that emotional stress.
@AimeChambers So many adorable servants ... it's good to be the crown prince!
@AimeChambers Question for the GM - When do you want to get the game started? I was either going to make the CS for my second character. She may not arrive immediately, but I was going to be busy today and wanted to make sure I didn't need to rush.

The magierprinz had returned to his place after taking classes for the day, studying for various things required to ensure that he managed to get the highest grade possible for his education. Without having to make sure the hellhound was fed and satiated for the day, Swen felt like he was able to make some real progress. After his earlier discussion with the Spirt Teacher, he had solidified his understanding of that sort of magic - at least formally. It would probably take some time before he managed to solidify such things into his spellbook formally to have them at the ready. But it was entirely possible that eventually he could have ethereal servants prepare a feast at his command.

That would be very useful for keeping a certain puppy fed, at least. Would also be a nice party trick at some sort of formal banquet that his father could try hosting.

Of course, there were other problems too. The relationship with his betrothed wasn't really advancing, but it also wasn't a problem - he had already found out what his family likely wanted, and there were other people he could marry. The woman hadn't come by to ask about his discovery, so he didn't bother trying to tell anyone about it.

Fia looked downwards as the dragon pulled larger hand out of her own small ones, believing her effort to have been pointless. The phoenix was surprised when the dragon turned around and spoke softly to her of learning ... from her? Learning to be a good person and learning to love. Things the crimson haired girl was still uncertain about herself.

The girl had to stop herself from stepping back though when the dragon kneeling close to her, wanting to savor the closeness for some reason she couldn't comprehend. It was strange being called by the name of another, but she felt a strange calm wash over her body as the dragon's arms wrapped around her, her instinct to bolt and hide from anything that wasn't Livia disappearing in those moments.

The dragon spoke to her of being unable to forgive whatever happened ... what did happen anyways? Perhaps her dreams had been true in some manner, but nothing bad had occurred within them ... right?

Eventually the dragon talked of being unable to control her internal violence, but she was doing it then, wasn't she? Why did she have to go? The dragon removed herself from the embrace and the room as quickly as possible, with Luna excusing the two of them and walking out.

Part of her was satisfied with that exchange, and rested in peace. Another part of her had so many questions, and so much confusion running through her mind it was hard to keep track of. Livia wouldn't say anything - she had already learned that. And Sorcha apparently was incapable of doing so. In the tower she didn't have to concern herself with such things, but pain would arrive even if it was served differently, wouldn't it?

After standing there for a minute without moving, the girl approached the couch she normally hid behind shakily, sat in the middle of it, grabbed the largest pillow she could find and just buried her face into it as her crimson hair ran down it like small rivers of blood. A muffled scream of unexplained frustration echoed from the pillow as Fia was overwhelmed by the emotions that seemed to come from nowhere, a lack of answers, and a never ending pile of questions that seemed to grow twice as high every time she learned something. Then she cried. A lot.

She wasn't sure if she wanted Livia to come by and help, or if she just needed some time alone.

The kitten wasn't sure if her mistress was joking, but she was right. Her owner had stopped drinking altogether, and she supposed that made it her responsibility to make sure the funds they had weren't wasted at all. Their allowance wasn't exactly a pittance, but Maoin would be damned before she wasted a single penny of it. "... I think you are right, mistress."

Setting down the glass of milk and licking her lips, the kitten picked up the mug of ale and started chugging it.

Gods, it was disgusting and bitter. How did her owner ever like this stuff? It was largely an ordeal to rush and get it over with, but the squinch of the kitten's face as she set the mug down made her feelings about that beverage rather obvious. Honey and grapes were what drinks should be made of, not wheat or barley. Either way, Maoin lapped at her milk a few times to wash it down, tossed a signal over to Tazia for their orders, then dedicated her mind to bringing up a new topic of conversation so she could forget that ordeal.

"Mistress ... did you get the dragon's letter?" Of course she had, since she had obviously acquired the note. But Maoin was a curious kitten, and she wanted to know what the contents were.
Note for first post: my name is rabidanubis, not rapidanubis XD

<Snipped quote by KiwiBaer>

:) I'll make you a pretty family tree as soon as I have the names and faces of the ill king, the crowned prince, and the youngest prince.

Because family trees matter, as someone who has played Crusader Kings 2. You have to marry your daughter to the king of Poland to make sure you have secured that alliance.
@Dusksong Well I assume power doesn't increase exponentially with age. Someone used dark matter to lift themselves via hand XD. Anyways, here is a post for you!
