The kitten looked back up into the eyes of her mistress, trying to follow through with that request, but words just failed to form at her lips. The furious blush still ran across her face but she found herself unable to speak and satisfy that request.

She wanted for her mistress to have a good time, right? Isn't that what a good familiar would do here? The kitten made up her mind, tail wrapping behind her owner for a few seconds as the shorter girl stood on her tippy toes, evening out their height. Then she gave her lady the most passionate, romantic kiss she could manage, holding her tight with one arm behind her back and the other behind her head.

Goodness, those lips were so sweet. And the woman herself? Irritating as hell, but pretty, honest, and a true friend. It had been a little over a year, but these past couple of months had changed a lot between them.

Maoin's feet lowered flat to the ground as the close embracing and song came to their natural end together. The familiar's flush had turned into a wide grin as she examined the wonderful woman standing in front of her. The kitten put her hands back into those of those of the mage, so they still remained touching.

A short break waited between dances, and as the two stood in the floor for a few seconds the kitten let out three words, liquid courage taking effect in her veins along with the surge of what she guessed would be a victory in that little interaction. "I love you."

Sudden and immediate regret filled the girl's eyes as she realized what she just said, the reaction making it obvious that had been intended in a certain way. Her pupils were wide, and then her head looked towards the ground suddenly. Stupid! Stupid Maoin! What was going to happen if her mistress didn't feel that way back? This was failure as a servant, a familiar, and maybe even as a friend. "Mistress I-" Was this really the right time to say that? Was there ever a right time to say that?
Will post tomorrow!

The kitten looked up as she was instructed to do so, the still remaining flush running across her cheeks and somehow becoming even more intense as she realized everyone in the tavern would notice. She ... she hadn't been meaning to look at the legs! The cat's eyes looked into those of her mistress, although the next suggestion made any sort of mental process stop.

"Mis-Mistre-"

The kitten simply continued looking into the eyes of her mistress, saying something without sound coming out. She tried to speak again, but her voice box failed her as her ears twitched and tail swished back and forth as the music continued to play, totally embarrassed by this whole circumstance.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Tazia trying very hard not to laugh, along with one or two more members of the crowd. Unable to form words, the kitten simply pulled herself closer in the dance and buried her face into her mistress' shoulder, hoping her black strands of hair would be sufficient to hide her embarrassment.

The native watched as the other girl pulled some sort of paper out of her cloak, unfolding it and seeming to observe it intensely. The orange haired girl tilted her head somewhat curiously, and after waiting for a bit headed over behind the other and looked at what was quickly identified as a map.

Ah. So she WAS lost. A little giggle followed as the green eyed girl found herself searching the sky, looking at the position of the sun and the beach. There weren't any fine landmarks around besides the cliff, and a river ran a half hour's walk to the north of their location. Still though, she decided to make herself useful.

A delicate finger pointed at a spot on the map where Caitiona believed they were. "Tá muid anseo." It was slightly off, and the old parchment had some obvious inaccuracies on it, and much of it lacked any sort of significant detail. Still though, it was a good outline of the overall terrain.

The look at the sun had suggested something aside form direction though - it also told a story of them running out of time. They needed to find shelter within the next two hours, and she had no idea how to communicate this.

The shorter girl poked the other's shoulder several times to get her attention, and possibly in the nose if that was required. The orange hand girl then sent the best symbols she could to make it obvious what she was saying.

She pointed at both of them, then pretended to fall asleep on the ground before standing back up again. Caitriona pointed off in a seemingly random direction, taking a few steps towards it and beckoning with a single hand to follow ... "Teacht chomh maith!"

The kitten had resisted the urge to comment on how her mistress had been positioning her legs, trying to be relaxed for the night. Sure, it was somewhat irritating, but this was a very casual setting and Maoin forced herself to hold everything in.

Her mistress had thought correctly though as she commented and grabbed her hand, the kitten beginning to stammer off a hurried reply. "M-mistress! I said to dance with whoever-"

Oh. OH.

The familiar's face suddenly turned red as she realized the implication of what her mistress had done. Maoin's eyes found themselves examining the floorboards, the flush spreading to her neck as the two began to move together across the dance floor to a quickly paced tune, her tails and ears going between excitement and twitching with a good kind of nervousness.

The next song was just a tad bit slower, but it was Celtic in origins and had the pairings dancing ... closely. The kitten waited to be pulled a little closer, face turned just a hair away.

Vilivyn listened as the others responded, taking notes of how they seemed to feel. Lena seemed on board with it, although as expected Tania did not seem too ... thrilled, about the opportunity. Faera seemed happy to hop along, but Inari didn't seem to like it too much if she looked at his body language, but he seemed perpetually grumpy anyways. The fox spirit was still holding her hand, although the succubus was willing to let go of it if she didn't seem interested anymore. Okami also seemed thrilled about what was going on, and Lupa seemed to have no opinion.

So that meant that at least all the summoners liked her ... yay? As the group entered the portal, the demoness took a quick look around to see the others. They seemed to be in a safe space for now within the caverns, so Vilivyn turned back to the group. "Hey, Lena, what quest did you pick out? It'd probably be nice if we knew that." The girl started thinking a bit more tactically about how to arrange the party.

"Alright, me and Faera don't have any weapons, so I think once we figure out our quest weshouldsticktogether!" The girl tried to add a little enthusiasm, but truthfully she was thinking hard. "Lena, if you could stick to the left and have your spirit fly around a little for surveillance that would be great. Okami, you seem like a cutietoughie, so I want you upfront, alright?" She gave him a little wink, before pushing him into place. Looking back at the mercenary and the fox spirit she thought for a few seconds before squeezing the white haired girl's hand and looking into her eyes. "Would you be alright sticking to the back, and using those sharpears to make sure nothing is following us. Sneak forward if you need to. And tough guy, could you stay with her to make sure nothinggoeswrong? If there's room, I can fly around for a bit to help look around."

Vilivyn slid a little to the right of the group, putting Faera in the center so they would be arranged like this:

O
LFV
BA

"Everyone alright with this? And does anyone have a light?" Vilivyn couldn't load up her own backpack too much, or she wouldn't be able to fly correctly.

The kitten looked down a bit as her mistress responded, ears falling just slightly. She wasn't jealous! She wasn't allowed to be!

Of course, as soon as her owner asked the next question a plate of barbeque was placed down over her lady's shoulder, Tazia reaching over it as she delivered the food. The platter was filled with beef and pork, smoked for hours on end in a way that could only be described as delicious. Of course, the taller girl would probably be paying more attention to the lick that was placed on the back of her neck by the tigress as she left the table.

Maoin watched the entire exchange wide eyed, focusing on the food for a bit as she consumed it. Part of the way a band entered the tavern, and upon taking the stage other groups began to dance. Eventually the pair finished their meal, the kitten taking a quick look around at the other groups.

The kitten had a goal here. She began to speak, excited. She really wanted her mistress to enjoy herself. "Anyone catch your eye, mistress? The table to our right has someone waiting to dance." Indeed, there was a rather buff guy standing there, drinking something out of a mug. "Or in the corner over there is a cute lady, if that's what you are looking for!" And of course, a girl sitting there looking into her glass as if anxious waited, her short black dress hugging her skin and small ribbons decorating her hair. "Or perhaps you want something a little more adorable?" Sure enough, there was a girl probably summoned from a squirrel wearing a little pink short skirt with an extremely bushy tail and adorable little ears on her hair, looking around as if nervous.

Indeed, the tavern filled with various people to dance with by the time they finished their meal, and a small crowd had formed on the floor as they moved together. "Mistress, you have quite a selection! Dance with whoever is the most pleasant to look at, handsome or pretty!" Maoin took another sip of the wine as she waited for her owner to find someone else to enjoy the evening with.
@cloudystar Just double checking that this is floor two, right?

EDIT: and our quest is one six, right?

EDIT 2: Tomorrow. Going to bed for tonight.

The woman didn't mention anything about her origins, which after a second of thought the fire haired girl understood. Although possible, communicating such complex ideas would be difficult. She spoke in an obviously dismissive tone, which made a slight pout form on the bards lips. As she watched the woman start collecting her things though and heading inland, the native simply watched and followed close behind.

Caitriona needed to watch this person as close as she was to their territory. She didn't seem malicious ... but she also didn't seem generous, and keeping a close watch of this woman would be a wise decision until she could speak to others about this. Despite having always been more independent from her group than many others, Caitriona did not want to do something that could endanger their security and be the responsible party for whatever happened next.

The black haired woman would hear the sounds of a flute playing softly behind them as they left the beach area, the sand gradually transitioning to a fine dirt as loose clumps of grass and various trees began to appear, many bearing fruit. Birds colored blue with extremely long tails flew through the sky, as if trying to blend into it. It was strange how she stopped to observe every fruit, and seemed to enjoy some and hate others.

Eventually, the ground would start to slope upwards and the two of them began heading up a steep rock edge nearby, Caitriona offering a little assistance if the other woman seemed to have difficulty finding a path. A narrow road would lead the pair up to a plateau, where the orange haired girl assumed the other one would need a little rest.

Sitting down, the flute was withdrawn from her bag and a slow but cheerful tune played as she watched the other woman curiously, wondering what she planned on doing with those things she was carrying.
