Work in progress, for now.

Humans:
  • Name: Mana Tachibana

  • Age: 16

  • Appearance: "I have a mountain of evidence on my side. A weak mystery like you will crumble!"

  • Personality: Pretty much an otaku for mysteries, Mana will relentlessly search for, and then solve, mysteries of all kinds. From the meaning of life, to who ate the last biscuit, Mana will do everything in her power to reveal the answer. She can also be competitive at times, especially concerning mysteries, and being beaten to the punch has the tendency to induce despair and worthlessness within her, but at least she understates her victories, opting to simply pose and pull off a one-liner relevant to the mystery in question.
Despite the confidence she has in her problem-solving abilities, Mana can be very easily intimidated, or easily distracted by frozen treats. Fearing physical violence, and feeding her ice-cream, is the most effective way to sabotage her mind.

  • Clubs: Mystery Research & Investigation Club

  • Brief Backstory: ...Nothing much worth mentioning. She's been into mystery novels from a very young age, so yeah.

  • Contract(s): Vampire of Mysteriousness and Stuff

  • Contracted Beings:
  • Name: Lupa

  • Type: Werewolf

  • Personality: Quiet and obedient, Lupa likes to regard herself as a 'loyal wolf' to her Contractor, regardless of compatibility. This is mainly due to a personal belief that a helping hand should be extended to any who needs it. Of course, giving her a good reason to refuse a contract before it's made is still enough to deter her, but once the contract has been agreed upon, Lupa will not give up on it. Really, you'd need to be pretty puppy-kickingly evil to make her refuse a Contract. So be sure to avoid doing that.
In a more sociable setting, Lupa comes across as more shy than anything, always replying in a meek manner and appearing quite lost in a crowd. Once she's warmed up to strangers, she loosens up considerably, but still has rather little to talk about. Hence, Lupa studies up on various literature and technology in an attempt to prevent future conversations with her from stagnating awkwardly.
One thing Lupa hates, however, is her own lycanthropy. Not that she hates being a wolf, but because she loses all reason and becomes a bloodthirsty hound. While an adept Contractor would be able to at least prevent her from turning on them, or ignore any nearby civilians, Lupa herself is unable to control her actions, driven only to fight until there's nothing left to defeat. Because of this, she urges her Contractor to take every precaution imaginable at every Full Moon, and to not force her transformation unnecessarily.

  • Powers:
In her 'human' state, Lupa's abilities resemble a Contractor more than a wolf. While she still possesses a keen sense of smell, her physical abilities are only enhanced similar to a Contractor's. Her True form, however, does possess higher strength, much higher speed, and (perhaps due to her crazed nature), resistance to pain.
Probably worth noting that, while Lupa doesn't seem adversely affected by silver objects in her human form, the wolf seems unable to bear it.

  • Fusion:
Actually, should probably be discussed with a Contractor first..

  • Summon: Lupa, when summoned, is human by default. Appearing as a surprisingly tall woman of 6'3". Her hair is a thick, wild, black mess that falls to her shoulders and makes her head appear much larger than it really is. Her lean figure and, well, lack of proportions can make some mistake her gender at first. Not helped by her seeming preference for suits. Because it apparently denotes supreme loyalty or something. Her eyes are tinged a faint yellow, and her teeth seem a tad too sharp to be entirely normal.
When shifted to Mode: Wolf, Lupa's body seems to expands slightly, her back hunching as black fur grows all over her body. Her arms seem to stretch as well, and her features shift until she resembles a bipedal wolf-man.
Ability-wise, in her 'human' state, Lupa's abilities resemble a Contractor more than a wolf.
  • "How 'bout sports?"
  • Role: The Oldest

  • Name: Rin Takanashi

  • Age: 28

  • Gender: Male

  • Appearance: This totally cool dude who seems to think he's more like this.

  • Personality: Friendly and enthusiastic for his job, Rin tries hard to be a beloved teacher that his students can respect, befriend and learn from. Believing that students benefit more from a casual environment, Rin spends more time thanis probably necessary simply conversing with his class, although he does tend to become more strict around exam time.
He's also quite an avid fan of JRPG's, boasting proudly that he's played every single one to date. His RPG mentality tends to show in his teaching methods somewhat; encouraging his students to focus on their strongest subjects, and for any groupwork, pair off students that can cover each other's weak spots adequately. He's also been known to to somehow go on a tangent about whatever game he's currently struggling with while in the middle of a lecture. Almost as if his effectiveness at teaching depends on how well his progress is.
Overall, Rin's simply a nice guy who wants to be a cool, memorable figure for his students, and help them achieve great success in their lives.

  • Brief Backstory: While hardly the best student ever, Rin tried hard during his school days, at least when he wasn't trying out the latest fads, or being slowly enveloped in those silly adventure games with far too many numbers involved to be any fun. After his high school days, he went from job to job for a little while, before pursuing a career in teaching, discovering he quite liked passing on his knowledge. focusing on his stronger subjects at school, he finally managed to become a teacher, just a couple of years ago.

  • Skills:
As a teacher, he has at least some knowledge in several fields, especially History and English.
Is surprisingly great at playing Role-Playing Games.
Looking totally cool and awesome and stuff.

  • Archetype: Asclepius - Granting him the ability to strengthen allies or weaken enemies.
'Blind': The targeted enemy's vision is impeded severely.
'Screech': This skill messes with a target's auditory systems, making it much more difficult to hear someone coming from behind. Or any direction, really.
  • Well, given the setting, my character's probably going to be a teacher.
Might go with Kokoro stumbling into the church.

As for extra characters... well, should probably give Yuuka a rest for once and consider something else.
Hm... think I might give the Oldest a try.
And now to decide who needs a Kokoro.

    -Right tab-
    Well today sure was hot.

Kokoro groaned weakly as she stumbled forward, aimlessly wandering. This was definitely the hottest day she had ever encountered, and while the displeasure was somewhat lacking in her face, the mask bearing an exaggerated look of pain and suffering conveyed her feelings well enough. There was no way she could perform her plays in this state! She needed something to protect her from the evil rays of that infernal sun.

And so, the boiling youkai found herself entering a public property, glad to be shielded from the sun. It was definitely far cooler in here. Who knew having long hair and a large, poofy skirt could be so disadvantage in certain weather?
Flopping to the ground, Kokoro groaned, "So cool... this is my happy face..." and indeed, the mask floating by her shoulder had somehow switched to a much happier Noh mask.
Kokoro figured she could check out that snoring sound when she had recovered some more.
  • Name: Hata no Kokoro

  • Age: Her masks have been around since the sixth century. It's not really known when, but they eventually became a tsukumogami and formed Kokoro, who ended up in Gensokyo.

  • Appearance: Here we are.

  • Personality:
A quiet youkai who loves to perform. Kokoro uses her masks to express her emotions, as she is otherwise quite poker-faced. Losing just one of her masks, however, tends to make her behaviour and personality quite turbulent, with her powers even running amok, though she has been learning to reduce this problem. Her true passion lies with the stage, which is the most likely subject to bring out an excitable tone... and Koishi is the one most likely to bring about negative feelings.

  • Abilities:
    Spellcards: Here.
    Also flight.
    Also also, manipulation of emotion.
And finally, an excellent stage performer.

  • Other:
Considers Koishi to be her mortal enemy.
Miko, as it turns out, originally created her masks.
Seems to be on good terms with Mamizou.
    Is incredibly cute.
  • One Kokoro coming up.
