Some days, there's rain. In others, you get overcast skies and damp heat. But then there are days like this: hot and sunny, where youkai are too busy relaxing (or hiding from the sun) to cause trouble, and the human residents of Gensokyo can relax without fear of being suddenly turned into dinner. In short: days with no incidents.

One Kokoro coming up.

Name: Kirisame Marisa

Age: 16-17

Appearance: A perfectly ordinary witch who has been taking dips in the lake since it's a hot day and where did she even get a bathing suit in Gensokyo

Personality: Kirisame Marisa is a frequent liar and kleptomaniac. She'll steal anything that looks interesting or useful, provided it's not nailed down, and she'll even steal abilities from people she's met. She's also nearly always cheerful, always interested in a fight, friendly or otherwise, and an incredibly hard worker. To master the magic she has, she needed to train for a very long time. It's likely that most of her life was spent doing so. Marisa is also very proud of being the "Second best in Gensokyo" to Reimu, as well as being a good thief.

Abilities: Capable of flight and danmaku use, spellcards listed here. She's also a pretty fancy thief, and carries around what's known as the mini-hakkero for doing magic.

• Name: Maria Shepard


• Age: 16


• Appearance: Whee, rough sketch~ As for colours, have this crappy old picture as a guide.
She doesn't wear the hat anymore, making her one of the very few Gensokians without any headwear.

• Personality: Maria comes off as more serious minded than some of the others in Gensokyo, and is rather more serious about her religion than either of the mikos. She's not entirely trusting of youkai, but is willing to accept them should they prove to be goodhearted people. A pacifist by nature, she doesn't really get involved much in incidents, and generally frowns upon violence. Somehow, she sees herself as Reimu's chief rival, despite the shrine maiden barely being aware of her existence. Despite this insistance, she's generally a lot more peaceful than most Gensokians, and is mostly concerned with taking care of the small Christian population of Gensokyo. However, if need be she is perfectly capable of fighting off any wolves that would threaten her flock. She is celibate, and proud of this fact; she does not react well to anyone teasing or flirting with her.


• Abilities: Maria possesses the power to heal wounds, as well as a thorough knowledge of exorcism rites. Like all Gensokians, she possesses the ability to fly, and although she is a pacifist she is surprisingly good with danmaku, enough that her claims to being Reimu's chief rival could actually be justified. She possesses several spellcards, although as she barely ever uses them only some of their names are known (for the curious, her spellcard names include such things as Rites of Exorcism "Kyrie Eleison", Rejuvenation Sign "Auxilium Meum A Domino" and Angelic Salutation "Ave Maria").


• Other: A nun from Gensokyo, and head of the local Christian community. Of course, as the Christian population of Gensokyo is abysmally low, she never really has much to do, and so mustly spends her time going door to door trying to spread the word of the Lord (not with much success, admittedly). Still, she's a hard worker who tries her best to tend to her flock, even if she's starting to feel a little uneasy about the ever-increasing competition.
