Werewolf vs Giant Cat. Place your bets.

60:1 Giant Cat's Cookies.
While Alexis bothers Marie, it occurs me a fight between them would be totally awesome. ...Even if it would most likely end in Alex reevaluating her skills.

Quick, someone force that scenario.
"...I see," Alexis was somewhat surprised by the answer. It seemed like an awful lot of trust was placed in the residents regarding their personal safety. Well... perhaps it did make sense. After all, it wasn't like the people she saw were children. Rather young, but definitely within the 'adult' age bracket.
Either way, Alexis was confident she would be selected before long. When the landlord went to greet another newcomer, the werewolf turned her gaze towards the roof. Interesting area for a swimming pool. She had no desire to swim, but Alexis did need to memorise the area's layout as soon as possible. And the roof might provide a decent enough birds-eye view of the land. Leaving the landlord to speak with the elf, Alexis headed inside.

Of course, given her lack of familiarity with the area, it wasn't long before Alexis had wandered into the lobby, unsure of which direction to take. Stairs were an obvious choice for the roof, and presumably her room, but she might as well learn the layout of the ground floor while she was at it.
The pink maid could probably assist, the tall woman figured, approaching the cat-like figure, "Excuse me, miss," Alexis said respectfully, "I have just arrived, and would like to know if there is a map of this building? Or at least the direction of any important rooms on this floor."
She momentarily eyed the treats on the tray, before returning her gaze to the maid. They certainly smelled nice, but it would be rude to ignore her in favour of random sweets.
Only if Alexis is the main character. It's clearly what everybody wants.
Just wait for the arc where everyone gets Shadow Realm'd, that should free up some slots.

Anyways, now that Merlin's effect is almost certainly confirmed, I'm gonna go laugh evilly while I wait for Devpro to update.
"...So... how was it?" the bespectacled girl asked shyly.

The transparent, armored figure, whose massive frame seemed incomparably large compared to the teenage girl, never mind the paper he held in his hands, looked unusually bemused as he stared at its contents. An awkward silence fell between them as the spirit struggled to find the right words.
"It's... a tale," Artorigus finally replied, "I do not believe I spotted any major... mistakes in the penmanship, or the grammatical structure of your culture. Though I would not have believed that Sirs Dinadan and Drystan... er..."

A faint blush rose in the girls face as she chuckled nervously.

"...Putting that aside, I hope you've assembled your forces properly," Artorigus quickly changed the subject, trying his best to look... kingly.

"I-I did! ...Um, I think..." Akira, or as she preferred to be called, "Anna", picked up her cards and slowly thumbed through them, looking at her assortment of warriors with some doubt and anxiety, "I... I don't know if it's any good, though..."

Artorigus stood, patting her shoulder comfortingly, "have faith in your fellow knights. Doubting them will only dull their blades, and bring you defeat."

Anna simply nodded, trying to dispel her misgivings. She wanted to be an honourable knight, after all. How could she ever be one if she had no confidence in her abilities?
You can do it! You're at the academy for a reason! Anna tried to give herself a pep talk, you'll become the knightiest of duelists! Your might will bring fame! And then you can finally prove to that id- wait what's that noise?

"...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Anna flailed around her room in a panicked manner, trying to pack away her cards and locate her duel disk as the king watched with a sigh. It was obvious this girl had a long, long way to go before being considered a knight. Hell, he had trouble placing at the level of a squire. She may be determined, but certainly wasn't all there just yet.

"Come on come on come on!" Anna, having gathered all the necessary items, urged her partner on as she scarpered from her dorm room.
...I could've sworn I posted last night. Weird.
The mysterious figure before her did little to surprise Alexis. Given what this place was, she would make a very poor bodyguard if that was all it took to trough the werewolf off her guard. Well, mask aside, Alexis ad to admit, his dress sense was impeccable. After the introductions, Alexis took the key and bowed her head slightly, her right arm crossing her chest. Alexis replied, "I am sure the room provided will be sufficient, sir."

Her hearing may not be considered 'super' as a human, but she could certainly pick up the signs of conversation. There was an annoying scent of cinnamon that impeded her nose somewhat, and nearby, a girl was being handed glasses, "so one of these residents is under my care. Has it been decided which one, exactly?" Alexis inquired the masked landlord, before he could disappear from view. The sooner Alexis knew, the faster she could get to work proving her worth, after all.
Walking silently towards her destination, the tall, wild-haired woman turned quite a few heads as she passed. Dressed as if she had stepped straight out of a business meeting, a water bottle in one hand as she dragged a small suitcase behind her. Conspicuous, perhaps, but definitely human. Not that Alexis was concerned with how slightly odd her presence was. After all, it wasn't her job to impress random people, after all.
Draining the last of her water with a satisfied gulp, Alexis rounded the corner, mere feet away from her destination now. The sound of small wheels turning against concrete was the only sound the tall woman made as she walked, turning her head towards a voice she could hear.

...Were those girls in that bush supposed to be concealing themselves? Not even 'amateurish' could describe the lack of success present in their attempt. Honestly, the sheer obviousness of their presence was an insult to the concept of stealth itself, but... it was hardly her business.
Ah, the source of the voices. A young girl talking with some energetic boy. She let her gaze linger for a moment, wondering why she couldn't detect a distinct scent from the male. Well... there was no obvious malicious intent, as far as she could tell, so it wasn't something to be overly concerned about, right?

Minding her path, Alexis rounded past the young, black-haired girl standing by the bushes on their side of the road, casting her a small glance as she passed. Nothing friendly, nor antagonist in her gaze. Simply... an analytic look at the girl, before Alexis continued on silently, finally reaching the front gates of her destination.
Primrose Terrace, the place where she would take on her first job. Looking at the building, well within the ground's confines, she wondered just who her charge would be. Not that it ultimately mattered, as she would fulfill her role perfectly, but if it were someone of an annoying or disagreeable disposition...
Let's see... I suppose Alexis could be just arriving at the place.
