Well, I'm always interested in a Fate crossover.
Somewhere over there.
Can only think of a Shuji post for now, so yeah.
Shujiko Ishi's timing was pretty bad.

It sucked that a storm had to pass over Gensokyo so soon after she'd arrived. The willpower youkai hadn't even managed to really search for anyone worth fighting. At least she had found somewhere to stay, though. Sure, it was tiny, drafty, dusty, mouldy and liable to collapse at any second, but this random shack just outside that village gave her somewhere to sleep. And hide from the rain. Shame that the wind was practically unimpeded, though.

The brown-haired youkai sighed. This was not helping her boredom at all. When was this stupid storm going to end? Nothing interesting could happen at all while it was raging outs-

Before Shujiko could react to the strange snapping sound overhead, a rectangular object smacked her skull, stunning the youkai temporarily. When she regained her senses, Shujiko noted two things; there was now quite a bit of rain falling steadily on her throbbing head, and... the thing that had tried to crack her skull lay beside her.

Shujiko had seen a laptop once or twice before in passing, but had never actually learned about them. She vaguely recognised it, but the object was completely foreign to her. It was coated with rain, and when opened, revealed a giant, confusing array of buttons and a black screen. She tapped experimentally at it, but nothing seemed to happen.
"...Why did this come flying through the roof?" Shujiko muttered with a confused frown, shuffling away from the leak. Had someone thrown it away? It seemed somewhat unlikely, who would wait until there was a storm to just chuck thing weird thing away? And through the roof a random shack at that?

Shujiko glanced outside the dirty window. She doubted there was anything to see, even if were crystal clear, but she considered weathering the storm to find the culprit. After all, her head hurt and now the mattress she had found was both dusty and wet now.
You could always take a look at this, see if it's a familiar process, but again, it's really tedious. And overly-complicated, given all the different scenarios for card effects and such.
YGO/Devpro uses .lua, I believe.

It's... a pretty damn long and tedious process to make even one card, though.
Um, like we've been saying, we trust the players. If we have to, we PM the cards you draw and thus have records of what you have available. Plus, every Yugioh RP I've been in has been play-by-post, and someone always wins in the end. That's how it works.
It's much faster to just play the duels through the posts, plus there's nothing stopping you with discussing the duel's details with your opponent.

Not to mention, we trust the players not to cheat or manipulate events just to win all the time, and not everyone is going to want to make an account/download a program to emulate duels.
None of my characters would really be wandering around during a storm, though.
Currently work in progress.

Also, not planning on using every Judgment Flame yet. Keeping them for a later upgrade and stuff.

I can't actually think of a favourite villain of mine.

  • Name: Shana Anderson

  • Age: 19

  • Gender: Female

  • Personality: Loud and bombastic, Shana tackles everything in life with extreme cheer and hot-blooded zest. Rarely seen without a smile, and never without her hat, the fiery duelist gives it her all to have a fun duel. She loves all things cute. 'Cute' in this case being anything with a fire motif.
Shana plays recklessly in her duels, rarely thinking ahead and dealing only with the present situation. Given the nature of her deck, inherited from her father, this tends to be a very bad idea. Shana, however, simply has fun with the duel and doesn't care much for the outcome.

Shana has very few berserk buttons, though putting down her deck is an obvious one. Insulting her family is another, as she takes great pride in her family's history of being notable duelists at small-time tournaments, or firefighters. And in one case, a stage magician well-known for the Noodle Scandal. She's also difficult to really upset, though this also means she tries to inject cheer into an atmosphere that doesn't really fit the situation, though she doesn't mean any harm or offence.

  • Brief Bio: Shana hails from a family of duel enthusiasts, which at first, put her off dueling altogether. Having her siblings, parents and grandparents and everyone else rave about its awesomeness simply made her think it couldn't be all that good. Her father, a firefighter and the original user of Shana's current deck, was especially bad at overhyping the game in an attempt to have her play.
Shana, being a tad more childish and unwilling to listen at this time, ignored all the insistence and refused to acknowledge it. At least until there was a serious fire that led her to believe her father had died tackling the blaze at some point. Thankfully, this turned out to be a false alarm, but it had scared Shana enough to apologise for denouncing a game he, and everyone else ever it seemed, loved to play, and finally decided to give it a try.

For the past couple of years, Shana has been using the deck her father made, and although she has far from mastered it, she refuses to alter it and wants only to enjoy the thrill of dueling that she had missed out on for a very long time. Not too long after she started dueling, Shana started seeing images of one of her cards. At first, she dismissed it as a strange glitch with her duel disk, but it quickly became apparent she was seeing... something. This was somewhat troubling at first, but Flikkar quickly proved to be a kind spirit that shared her passion for dueling.

Recently, she had heard news of the tournament being held, and while she was initially going to just ignore it in favour of local duels, Flikkar eventually convinced her otherwise. After all, new opponents in a new setting would surely make for more fun duels than the same old stuff. Shana herself doesn't really care about winning it, she just wants to play as much as possible.

  • Deck Type: "Judgment Flame" (custom). A FIRE-archetype with Burn elements that affect both players, requiring careful maintenance of card effects.

  • Key Card: Sword Master of the Judgment Flame

  • Known Cards: Sword Master Of The Judgment Flame, Ignition of the Judgment Flame, Backfire.

  • Spirit Partner: Judgment Flame Flikkar (a monster that's nothing more than a small flame that constantly seems ready to extinguish)

  • VA:

  • Battle theme: Unfitting Song Used Mainly For Mentions Of Flames And Also Being A Goddamn Awesome Song

  • Out-of-battle theme:
