Forgotten History

Rin stepped into the edge of the living room. "I'm here to see my family, who I love. So much so that I'm willing to put my life on the line to protect them and their freedom. That's why I joined the military." Rin said as calmly. Her explanation wasn't necessary, and she knew that. Rin felt her heart race as Henry stood and walked in her direction. The burly man's stature was intimidating but Rin stood her ground. "How dare you abandon your family then call yourself some hero" he said then slapped her.

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten... she counted off in her head. It was a trick she had learned to calm herself. Her first reaction was to turn her head to Marcus. "Don't" She said simply, knowing he was about to try and attack Henry.

Commander Rin Monroe

After handing out all the rooming assignments but one I turn my attention to Captain Henderson. "A whole damn day late isn't a little. " I scold him. With a loud roar the ship's engines start. I gesture for him to follow me as I walk up the ramp and inside the ship. Once we're both aboard I see the hatches shut and the ship start to move. "I'll be honest, I was about to leave your ass. But now that your here we can finally get underway. I'll give you the briefing on the mission, please wait till I'm done before you ask any questions." I tell him as I start to walk further into the ship. I manage to nearly perfectly balance myself as the inside of the ship jostles. Smaller ships like this aren't as good about being stable while making complex movements in atmosphere. As we step into a private room I can feel the ship start to smooth out. I explain the mission to Captain Henderson Just like I had done with all the others. I also highlight some of the questions raised and my answers to them. After concluding I take a deep breath. "Any questions?" I ask. I have this feeling like I'm forgetting something. Looking down I see the paper in my hand. "Oh, and this is your bunking assignment." I say handing him the paper.

For the sake of keeping the rp alive and moving along I'm skipping two people who haven't logged on in awhile. Hopefully they will join us soon enough.

So, I should have a post up today to start another round of posting. Yay!

Middle of January. I still have no idea when we'll be going out there but I figured I would just get an idea.

As they went through the door they were between the living room and the dining room. Living room on left, dining room on right. On the right and further to the back was the kitchen, somewhat open but separated by a bar and some cabinets. Straight down the middle was a hallway leading back to the bedrooms.

There in the living room Henry sat, smoking a cigar. His gloomy and unfriendly disposition obvious. "What the fuck do you think your doing back here?" He said roughly to Rin.

@omerta If you are legitimately at a loss for what to write that's okay, we'll just skip you this go round. I figured you would have plenty to say about being bunked with Brine.
