Charlie's eyes widened when she noticed the puppy. Her excitement over her sister returning home had distracted her. "Awww! He's so cute!" she exclaimed and rushed to Marcus. Carefully she pried the puppy from his arms and held it close. "Please, come inside. Make yourself at home." Piper said as she stepped towards the door. Rin took a deep breath then entered the house after her mother and sister.
"I go by Stevens, but thank you. " Piper smiled. Charlie looked around at the three adults. " Are you her boyfrien? " she asked bluntly as her grouchy expression landed on Marcus. " No! He's just a friend. " Rin said to her sister. Piper laughed lightly.
