Fall of Vedrus

Crim nodded as she finished tightening the last strap of her armor. It felt heavier than before and what she was used to bur she stood up tall and smiled at Leo.
Grabbing her bag and packing her stuff only took a sec. Then she stood next to him and nodded. "Let's."

Crim slowly woke up, yawning as she did, and sat up next to Leo. "You alright?" she asked then stood up about ready to put on her new armor she had gotten the day before.
"I should let Alexander know we're leaving."

War Never Changes

Hearing the door open, Celty was instantly alert and made aware there was a guy walking around. She put the scope on him to scout him out and saw he was carrying his own rifle.

Quietly she watched him to see if he was any threat. It didn't seem as if he even noticed her, which was good. She had the advantage if it stayed that way. And Celty wasn't planning on giving up her poaition, not this early.

She continued to watch him, scope fixed on him, monitoring what he did. Judging if he was any real threat to her at all. It just looked like he was bothered by something. Everyone was nowadays, so it want such a surprise to her. But being as cautious as she was, she stayed low to her branch and silent to make sure he didn't catch her.

"So soon?" Crim asked inside the tent. "Oh, I have something to show you." She walked over to the bed and grabbed his hand pulled him with her. "A gift, from the captain for my aid." She showed him the armor she was given and sat next to it.

"Thank you," she nodded to the Sage. "When do we leave?" she asked with a slight smile.

"You can't go alone," She shook her head. "I'm not going to let you. I'm coming with you." She looked him in the eyes, determined. She shook her head again then looked at the Sage. "You're not leaving without me." concern and determination filled her voice as she spoke.

"Wait, why?" Crim stood up quickly, concern filling her eyes and voice. "Where are you going to go?"

Crim looked at it in awe. She didn't know what to say. She just stared at Leo holding the gorgeous weapon. "All hail the king," Crim muttered. Then playfully bowed.
