Duncan grinned. "Crows, I like that idea. Good thinking Elaine." Duncan praised her. All of his guards were good ofcourse but Elaine was one of the best in his team by far. Not only because of her powers. "I'm going to check on the princess" And Madeline. "Before I take a look at the treasury and the guest chambers." he said before he turned and walked off in his usual fast pace. Duncan went first by the common room of the Royal Guard and picked two who followed him. He would station them in a small guard room at the top the the stairs so they wouldn't be seen from downstairs but could stop anyone going to the chambers of the Royal Family.

Keith sauntered on while whistling some more happy tunes. After walking on for a while he noticed a horse and a figure. In the mood for a chat he made his way there. When he got closer he noticed Norlanann. He realised he probably had been a bit rude with his reaction and he wasn't sure if he had answered her question at all so he walked towards her. "Greetings lady Norlanann, hope you rested well?" he said with a warm smile on is face. Now he had gotten a bit more used to the idea and he saw her a second time he noticed things he missed the first time he saw her. Like her ears.
Gabe looked at Lucian. "Sure, you can tell me anything." He said, wondering what it could be. Gabe glanced at the clock but he figured there was enough time to tell what ever it was. It was quiet around as mist from the ferry had gone already and the next ferry would take a while.

"something wrong? Machop asked. "is it a secret?" Mareep asked with big eyes almost burning with curiosity. "Gabe can be trusted, he never spills thing told in secret."

Duncan thought about Elaine's question before he shook his head. "I don't think so, they don't know what is normal and what is heightened security. And if they do I hope they think it is for the reasons the princess wants to wed off." Duncan looked at the stairs. "If we would tail them and shadow their every move then they woukd notice but that is not necessairy." He looked at Elaine again. "I'm going to make a round before goung to the office to set up a roster. Care to help out? One of us can do inside and the other outside. That's quicker. I obly need a report if something is wrong or out of the ordinary."

------------
Keith walked outside and looked around to see if he could spot the female suitor. He still had a hard time believing that he'd have a female to compete with. Keith glanced over his shoulder but he didn't see Desmond yet.
He started whistling a tune as he more or less walked in the direction he had spotted Norlanann. He was curious and wanted to socialise. They would spend some time under the same roof and he did prefer it in an amiable way and not hostile.
When Duncan saw all the current suitors accomodated he went back to Elaine. "Sorry to keep you waiting." he sighed. "I just need some advice and then you are free to retreat. Do you think we should go to code yellow? increase the number of guards and guard more spots. Monitor more closely incoming mail and goods and so on. Discretly ofcourse. I am fairly sure none of the current suitors is a spy or something but we are in a vulnerable time between trying to get an alliance and actually sealing it and he might take advantage of it."
Eventhough Duncan was fairly sure that they all came with honest intentions, more or less for some, he wouldn't trust any of them for 100% for the time being. He was rather safe then sorry? Discretly ofcourse, he didn't want to scare them away.

Keith wasn't tired but it was good to be in the room. He was lying on bed for a while just enjoying doing nothing, he thought he heard one of the doors open and close again but didn't bother getting up just now. After a while he got bored again and he sat up. With a jump he was out of bed and headed to the window. He opened the window and looked outside while he enjoyed the wind on his face. He looked around and noticed a figure walking the castle grounds. It looked like the newest suitor, Norlanann. Keith stretched and he walked to the door.
"Desmond, I'm going downstair and probably outside." he said through the closed door before walking down the stairs at ease and in no hurry.
Duncan looked at Damien. "To be honest, rumours that one or more of the childeren were still alive have been going around on various places of the kingdom by different unrelated people, it were those rumours that set me off to find them in the first place." he said. When Rai snapped Duncans head turned to Noble. Noble hadn't told him while he knew his quests. While noble was trying to sort his confusion and focussed on what proved to be his long lost siblings Duncan could only wonder why Noble had chosen to keep it from him, they way he spoke made it seem that Noble knew he was a child of the murdered king and the rightful heir he just didn't know his brother and sister had survived too. Duncan glanced at the hermit to see if he backed up the claim Rai made and they were indeed who they said they were.

Crreessa looked with interest at the unfolding drama. When Rai exposed her brohters as the presumed dead childeren too she clapped again. Amused she looked at the astonishment of the two males. It was not an enexpected plot twist to her as their scent gave them away but still, it was a nice piece of family drama. She wondered if they would all fall in each others arms crying or that the rage Damien showed earlier would persist and that he would stomp away with Noble keep standing their confused. But since she saw Damiens shoulders relax she doubted Damien would walk away angrily. Crreessa hoped it wouldn't be an all crying and hugging end to this magnificent piece of revelations.

RedClaws didn't pay any attention to what was going on with those humans, he couldn't care less. Human politics were boring as it was always the same in the lonf run. If they would approve Crreessa plan they could come along, if they didn't they would go alone. Simple like that.

Gnol listened as Damien and Rai went on. Astonished he listened how it unfolded further, his jaw dropped. Gnol blinked a couple of times before he closed his mouth again. He looked at Rai when Noble was done babbling "So Rai, you say that you are not only the presumed dead child of the murdered royal family but those two are your brothers?" He sat back and shook his head. "What are the odds to that." He looked at Mikhal. "Hope you got that young bard, this is gold."

Alan looked from one to the other of the siblings as Rai exclaimed they were all the offspring of the murdered king. He hadn't expected that. not at all, especially with Damien saying that they didn't want to believe her since the heirs were supposed to be killed. Why would he not belief if he were one himself. Could be a trick to keep to protect himself but Alan couldn't really understand the hostility if so.
"So, now we just have to find out if it is true that they are all the heirs or that they are all imposters." Alan said with a pensive look on his face as he studied them and their reactions carefully.

Theo and Thea made their way to the secret passageThea shifted back in her wolf form, shaking the cape off. "The hermit." Theo said with a snarl. Neither of them wanted to go to the hermit, that area had a repelling effect on them. If they could avoid going there they would.
"We have to choose wether we go to the hermit as wolfs and treathen him or go in our human form and try to get the information out as help seeking people." Thea said. Theo growled disgruntled. "He might guess we are shape shifters. I don't want my secret out. Those who know us in wolf form don't know our human form and vise versa. Let's just hope we pick up a scent in the area as we round it." the siblings nodded to each other and when they were back in the forest they trotted through the forest towards the area the hermit lived.
I think so, hope so. I was waiting till the captain would post again.
Duncan nodded in responds to Norlananns question before listening to princess Annabelle. His eyes went from the crown princess to the lady who was said to be a suitor as well. Quite surprised he asked: "A suitor?" Prince Keith seemed shocked enough for it to be true. "Very well, if everyone would follow me I will show you all to your assigned bedchambers." There where three stairs to be seen from the hall where they where with the back to the door the right stairs went to the rooms of the staff and Guards. The middle led to the chambers of the Royal Family and the one on the left led to the guest chambers. "Since there are a few suitors we will set some ground rules. No one is to enter the royal families chambers, when princess Annabelle retreats there she will be left alone. Everyone will stay friendly and civil" he said as he pointed to the second staircase. "Your belongs are brought up to your chambers already or will be brought there when they arrive." He looked at Norlanann. "There are refreshments in the parlour, prince Keith and Desmond can show you, they spend some time there already." Duncan said before he started walking the stairs and holding doors open for each suitor. The first for Desmond, the second for Keith and the third for Norlanann. "Enjoy your stay, if there are any question you can ask any of the castle staff, the castle guard or the Royal Guard. When you are all rested and had refreshed I'll show you a bit around the castle so you can all find your way."

-----------------------------------------
Keith finally realised his mouth was hanging open and quickly shut it. He grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head when lady Norlanann and the princess where talking. "Yeah, no problem once you are rested I'll gladly show you the refreshments. Just knock on my door." Keith offered as Duncan suggested to show the newest suitor before he looked at Elaine. He wasn't surprised that she knew his name although 'master' was not a title he often heard before his name. Most people stuck with prince. Keith followed Duncan and was assigned the second room and noticed his stuff was placed there. It was a nice bedroom, decent sized and clean. No signs of wear and tear. Keith grinned and jumped on the bed to feel the matras and blankets.
Duncan listened, his eyes winded as she mentioned him finding the fountain of youth. He didn't immediately share Elaines view of seeing him more as an asset. Sure short term and in battle definitely. But long term, would a skilled thief abd killer be a good ruler, like this royal family had been. Would he let his possible children rule or take the power when princess Annabelle passed away. All kind of questions that swirled through his head but he kept on listening. When she mentioned the barriers he nodded. "Of course,I understand. I have full confidence you did what is needed." He glanced at the room. "Although you might want to keep the window shut and locked." He said with a wink. "I'm going back to the princess to see if I can find the missing suitors."
He turned on his heels and walked vack to the hall. He noticed prince Keith and woman who he suspected was a noble woman. "Your Majesty" he greeted princess Annabelle. "Prince Keith." He paused as he didn't yet know who the woman was.

-------------
Keith looked at the bird as the woman explained it. "Bearded Vukture, heard about it never saw it up close." When it strechted its wings Keith grinned big. "Awesome, but since it's name means bone-breaker I don't think I should get too close." He said still grinning."Birds are my favourite species, the way they fly and live." He thought to see which of the different kind of birds were his favourite but before he could tell the princess appeared.
He politely waited till the greetings were exchanged. When he heared Norlanann was a suitor his jaw dropped very un-prince like. He barely heard Duncan greet him.
Duncan nodded. He knew Elaine was a very important member of the Royal Guard and he always forgave her bluntness eventhough he was the highest in rank. the guard wasn't chosen over their meekness or slavely do as they are told. He appreciated all the input they gave as long as they ultimately complied to what was decided. "I didn"t exactly know where he was, I got a general dicretion and could only pinpoint better when I was outside. I feared the he might be in here but wasn't sure yet."
Duncan looked inside too and agreed to Elaine's observation. "The foorprints didn't appear magically and the walls can be climbed if one is skilled enough." he said. "But as long as nothing is missing we don't need to act immediatly." He concluded.

Duncan looked at Elaine. It was a legimate qauestion. "Because he answered some questions truthfully." Duncan said. "And why not guared? Because he is here as a suitor which gives him the right to be treated as any of the other nobles, he also did nothing wrong in our kingsdom. Not yet anyway." He looked at the room. "Can you put some sort of protective shields over your room and the treasurie and other room we rather not have any of suitors enter, especially master thiefs? So they are inaccesible trough door and windows" he asked Elaine. "And no, I do not know his full history. I know enough to want that an eye is kept on him at all time but we need to keep a polite distance so that won't be easy. Information out of those regions and in those families is hard to come by." Duncan paused. "We need to keep a discrete eye on all suitors because you never know if one of them is a spy or an assassin but at the same time we must make sure they don't feel treathend or feel treated as criminals because we absolutely cannot afford to loose the deal princess Annabelle wants to make for the sake for all of us." He sighed. "If you know more about Desmond or any of the suitors do tell me Elaine. Princess Annabelle must know with who she will form an alliance through marriage.

--------------------------------------------------
A servant saw Norlanann stand waiting with a bird. "I'll go find the princess and let her know someone is here for her." she said with a curtsy.
The servant walked outside and approached the prinses. "Excuse me your Majesty but there is some waiting in the hall." she said with a curtsy and from a respectful distance.

--------------------------------------------------
Keith smiled towards Madeline and bowed his head slightly. He noticed Desmond and started following him when he heard what the servant said. Desmond had just entered the castle again and Keith followed slowly, curious to see if that person would be another suitor and try to assess his new rival. He entered the hall and noticed a female with a bird, he wondered if she was a messenger. He loved birds. Due to his element he felt an affinity with flying creatures. He didn't immediatly recognise the species though and he walked up. He didn't see a prince or nobleman so he thought this female was perhaps a messenger or one of the party that followed or rode ahead of a possible suitor. "Hello, that is a great bird you have there but what kind is it?" He would step back ofcourse when the princess would come and let her talk but he could keep this woman company till the princess would arrive.
