Note for the both of you, two in fact...
The first being that you'll actually be spending less time in your pride-and-joy than you think, as most of our tasks will be more person-to-person and therefore not require a hulking mass of death-dealing and tracked metal. Sorry.
Secondly, you'll be shoved into a composite regiment, along with others from different planets, similarly decimated regiments and so forth.
You'd best start believing in the power of foot-slogging infantry regiments, boys, you're in one!
