Current Hey everyone, sorry for my absence. I know I sort of disappeared. But with everything going on I sort of just... shut off. I apologize for that, but I still need more time to get my head on straight.

Molly softly smiled as Sin took the offered ice cream and began to enjoy it. Molly then took a seat among the girls and began to lick at her own ice cream as she silently listened to the others. Her fear was slowly dissipating from her. She found a sense of safety around the girls. It was odd, despite all the bitchy remarks and what have you... This was the closest thing to family Molly has ever known.

After a while things began to die down and everyone was heading home. Molly went and discarded the paper from her finished ice cream cone and headed for her truck. She pulled the door open and hopped in. She took a relaxing sigh of relief, now that the repercussions of the Mark of Dread were gone from her system.

~~The Next Day

Molly arrived shortly to the Lucky Strike Casino shortly before the meeting was to officially begin. She had thrown on some random clothes from her suitcases she has still yet to unpack. Her outfit was a bit more 'daring' from what she usually wore. Molly usually wore more casual, low maintenance clothes; often hiding her body under sleeves and pant legs. But today she wore something that revealed more skin than usual. And once she entered the Casino she didn't awkward walk along the outer border of the room to find a spot all lone. Today she walked up and sat at the pseudo-round table with the majority of other girls.

As she sat there a small smile remained on her unpainted lips, the cut and bruising from the other day noticeably diminished. She listened quietly to the talking of the group. Her attention perking at the mention of The Hound; though she still remained quiet. Only until Herik began to speak of the dangers of seeking out the hound, Molly lightly chuckling to herself.

"It'd probably be easier if we simply find someone dying...." Her voice trailed, as if thinking on how to explain. "The hound is the courier for the dead to pass on, right? Why not simply locate someone on their death bed. Eventually The Hound would show up to do his job. Though, no guarantee's he'd be willing to talk to any of us." She softly chuckled to herself once more.

Interactions: @KatKook

As the call to retreat found Molly's ear she was midway dispatching another untransformed Vampire; striking him swiftly with something grotesque and resembling a bo staff. Deciding it best to follow orders as Kayla probably had more information than she Molly finished up her assailant as to not allow him to attack as she fled. She quickly used the length of her staff to her advantage. Sweeping the vampire out from under his feet he fell to his back, before he could groan from the impact she kicked him across his head; knocking him unconscious. She then turn and ran towards where they had all come from, letting the bo staff deteriorate.

As she ran out of the trailer park she made sure to pick up her baseball bat and the box of unused Medical Masks she had brought; something if not for the Mark of Doom she would have been much too frazzled to even think of doing. As she made it to the gate she saw her Roommate Elise suddenly appear beside what looked like Izzy and a beaten-up Sin along with some weird hot chick that seemed to smoke a pink substance from her skin. Before Molly could get a better read on the situation they all four vanished. Deciding not to dwell on it she would focus on the issue at hand; get to her car, get the fuck out. Easy two step process.

As she got to her small truck she threw the bat and box of masks into the bed and hopped in; quickly igniting the engine with a rattling roar and heading out and away in the opposite direction of the Trailer Park.

Molly kept her Mark of Dread active as she drove. She knew if she dropped it she would become nearly paralyzed with immeasurable fear and terror. But it was starting to take its toll on her body. The warmth that once gave her confidence and strength now felt like hot coals lay beneath the surface of her skin. She groaned behind the wheel, feeling her stomach tighten from the discomfort. Her phone suddenly buzzed, a message telling her to meet everyone at a Dairy Queen. She sped a few mph over the limit, not enough to be an obvious pull over but enough that lessened the time it took for her too arrive and drop the Marks activation.

As Molly arrived she parked at the far end of the parking lot. She knew exactly what was to come once she deactivated and returned to normal. She didn't want anyone to see her in such a vulnerable state and she didn't want to try and mask it either. She pulled the parking break and killed the engine. She took several shallow, nervous breaths as she let the Mark of Dread slowly reseal inside Hraesvelgr's sigil. As the power left her it was swiftly replaced by terror. Her strength turned on her and filled her with fear. Her nerves felt like they were being burned, all individually and simultaneously. She felt her body begin to shake against her will to remain calm. She wrapped her arms around her midsection as tightly as she could, curling into herself and pressing her head firmly against the steering wheel. It was like a withdrawal. The days of agony and desire for one more hit that happened over days hit her all in this moment.

But she didn't want another hit. She didn't want anything. Except the power to crawl out of her own skin and flee from the terror that shook her very core. Molly cried out as tears fell uncontrollably down her cheek. Trying to drown out the terror with rage, but it did nothing to dissipate.

~~10 minutes later

Through some breathing exercises she was able to concentrate on she was able to get herself together a bit more. Wiping at her eyes and cheeks to hopefully hide the fact she was crying. She knew the others would get the wrong idea if they saw her. They'd think she was having a meltdown from what transpired. But that wasn't the case, she cared little for what happened. Those freaks deserved what happened. She didn't need to give anyone another excuse as to why she wasn't cut out for this world of extra-normals.

Molly finally pulled the key from the ignition and pushed it into her pocket along with her phone and wallet that she left in the truck before the beat down. She exited and made her way inside, finding a handful of the others already claiming a handful of tables. She saw Sin, seemingly coming too, from her perspective, and asking in surprise if they were in Dairy Queen. She softly chuckled to herself, but it soon faded as the memory of the last time she saw Sin looked like. She decided to do something nice for her, she had a rougher day than any of the other girls. Molly went to the counter and ordered two vanilla ice cream cones. After a short wait, and weird looks she retrieved her order and headed over to the table with Sin and Izzy. She held out one of the Ice cream cones towards Sin and smiled as genuinely as she could, Molly not realizing that her lip was split and a bruise was fully formed around it (probably why the cashier gave her such a weird look); trying to mask the fear that still put her whole body on edge.

"I am glad to see you looking better than the last time I saw you."

Molly listened intently as Kayla ran through the 'beat down crash course'. She hadn't really been violent in her life. She was definitely much more passive and submissive; at least before Hraesvelgr. But even then, the improvements were minor. At least before activating her Mark of Dread. As the explanations came towards an end she felt her nerves having reached a peak, unknowingly growing as the demonstration went on. She noticed how her hands became clammy against the wood of the back she held much more firmly than she remembered. She took a few deep, quiet breaths in a futile attempt to calm her nerves.

As things kicked off she was a bit taken aback. It all seemed to escalate so quickly. Though what did she expect? They did come here to beat the shit out of some vampires. She shook her head, trying to loosen the grip her nerves had over her muscles and to start moving. Everyone was doing their part. She wouldn't prove Emily right, she was useful to this group. She had a place here and she could prove it. Right here, right now. If only she could move.

Will a burst of stubborn willpower Molly forced herself to move. Running into the 'battlefield' with bat in hand. She saw a smaller male off to the side that seemed to be waiting for an opening against one of the distracted girls and decided to go for him first; he seemed a size she could handle and not afford him the opportunity to attack one of her Coven members from a blind spot. Molly began a straight directly towards the male vampire, though his eyes snapped onto her as she approached. She nearly stumbled as her fright sky-rocketed, making her legs stiff until she had to come to a stop nearly ten feet from him. She held her bat like she would strike; but it was obvious in her eyes she was stiff with terror. What if she wasn't strong enough? What if her attack missed? How fast was he?

The male before Molly could tell she was locked up in fear. Like the opportunist he was, he quickly lunged at Molly before she could compose herself. He cleanly struck Molly, splitting her lip and sending her back a few feet. As the searing pain scorched through her from her lip and how her body hit the ground instinct quickly kicked in. Without her acknowledgement her Mark of Dread activated, like a sense defense mechanism she had no control over in the moment. All that fear coursing through her suddenly ignited like jet fuel, burning pure energy throughout her entire body. She was no longer locked up, she was set free. A blistering warm rushed through her veins as she felt she was finally in control.

The vampire scoffed, not realizing the change that took place within the girl he just struck down. Molly slowly rose to her feet, a smirk painted across her lips; confidence burning in her eyes. Slowly within the air around her thick, needle like blades began to form out of twisted bone. Though they deteriorated into nothing but ash as soon as they formed. Having reminded herself that she couldn't kill. The vampired blinked rapidly, seeming confused with what he just saw. Or if he even saw anything at all but maybe some spots appeared in his eyes and his blinking removed them. He decided he would put Molly down once more. He lunged at her once again, but this time she was ready. And the knowledge she attained from the Mark of Dread made it easy for her.

As the vampires strike came thrusting towards Molly's face she easily ducked slightly to the side, letting it catch nothing but the air over her shoulder. With seemingly practiced precision Molly threw a powerful jab into the center of the Vampire's thigh. Striking the muscle with enough force to pinch it between her knuckle and his femur making it convulse in a spasm. He yelped in pain but was quickly silenced with a following upper cut, catching his jaw and slamming his mouth shut with enough force to crack teeth and lifting him off the ground. As he crashed to the Earth he was unconscious from the sudden, overwhelming pain.

Molly observed the surrounding area, as she did twisted bone began to wrap around her fingers in a sort of brass-knuckle manner. As her eyes fell upon the first non-occupied vampire she could find she immediately burst into a full sprint towards him. He held a crowbar in his hand and quickly noticed Molly charging his way. Confident in himself he began to run straight towards her. As the were about the close the distance the Vampire took a swing at Molly, aiming for side of her head; though Molly didn't dodge this time. As the Crowbar came towards her sudden within the arm a wall of twisted bone and flesh appeared, blocking the crowbar with a bone crackling sound on impact. But Molly remained untouched. Successfully defended Molly easily slipped into close quarters. She send a strong, low jab into his lower rib; the bone-knuckles impact shattering his rib on impact. Though she knew this wasn't enough to put him down for the fight. With quick, fluid motions before he could recover from the first strike she went into her onslaught. Right fist to left hip, striking at the nerve and making it hard to stand, left first to broken rib once more to disorientate once more, step back into lung kick into center of right knee to dislocate and possibly shatter the knee cap, before he could fall over a final quick jab to throat to disrupt air flow; not enough to suffocate but definitely make it difficult for a few hours.

As the male collapsed into a wheezing groan of man-baby she heard a rushing of wind coming at her from behind; the bat-like creature. Within a flash of a moment the knuckle deteriorated from around her fingers and was soon replaced by a large skeletal scythe. She spun around quickly, striking with seemingly practiced ease and removed half of the assailants left wing. The bat zipped pasted her without touching Molly, shrieking in pain from it's missing portion of wing before crashing into the packed dirt and into a tumbling roll. Despite the pain the creature began to push itself to its feet as if it weren't done fighting. Molly's scythe deteriorated and quickly replaced with five baseball sized balls that seemed to float around her. Without a motion the balls of bone soared through the air in a straight line, impacting powerfully into the creatures upper body with enough force to knock it on its ass and groaning.
@SassySalamander I like the character, I really do, but I really don't see the point in accepting her if she's just, more or less, going to be a glorified NPC. Which is what I had problems with a few characters that were submitted over PM, they need to be associated with the Coven at the very least and not just wasting space on the character tab. I do like the idea of her though, but think she should just be an NPC.

Darn. I completely understand. Do you think there is anything we can do to the character to make her more than a glorified NPC?

Molly had been sitting quietly with her back against the post as the group bickered and bitched at each other. She sighed under her breath. She didn't understand the need to constantly be snippy with each other. It was far from making anything productive in this dysfunctional group. But all of a sudden a blackness took the room. Not like someone turned out the lights. But as if someone took the idea of sight from Molly. She began to panic, her heart bursting to a full sprint in her chest. Molly frantically pressed herself against the post at her back for any semblance of contact that could help keep her feel any slight amount of grounded. She heard voices, but the panic made it sound like an episode of Peanuts and a teacher was speaking.

As her vision returned her panic hardly subsided. But now she could see, she get get out of here. Before the meeting had even come to an end Molly pushed herself up to stand, grabbing the pack and lighter from off the ground before she hurried out of the Casino, only just hearing the destination before she pushed herself out the door. She needed open space. In her panicked state the usually grand Casino seemed impossibly small and confining; the air stall and clung to her lips and unable to reach her lungs. As the door closed behind her she forced breaths into her lung in small, frantic breaths. After a moment she was able to take normal breaths as she no longer felt so confined. She made her way to her truck. Not ready to sit inside she decided the truck bed would do.

Using the back tire as a step Molly climbed into the back of the truck. She sat down and rested her back against the window. She shakily pulled out a cigarette and quickly lit it before trying to use the nicotine to calm her nerves.

Greenwood Estates

Molly was a couple minutes late, a new record for early if she compared it to all the other times she was supposed to arrive places at any specific time. But in her rush to get out she had forgotten the exact location. She rememebered green... something in two hours. So after her time at the local store to pick up a cheap baseball bat and some generic medical face masks she spent some time in her truck searching the word green in her google maps app. Once she saw Greenwood, it clicked and she remembered that was what she said. Okay, in truth she thought it was Greenhills apartments and she stopped there first. But luckily it was only a few blocks away from Greenwood Estates. The fuck was with Florida and green-something names.

Molly stepped out of her car as she parked nearby the cars she recognized. She hadn't seemed to change out of her jeans and loose Tee between the Casino and now. The only difference was the bright blue medical mask over her face and obviously recently bought wooden baseball back in one hand, a recently opened box of medical masks in the other.

Molly walked up to the group, trying to act super normal that there was a large... 'creature' between her roommate Elise and Sin. That wasn't alarming at all and totally stuff Molly has seen all the time and she isn't a noobie One-Eye that gets freaked out over a crazy looking creature that crawled out of a Cronenberg fueled wetdream.

As she stopped short of the group she held up the box of masks in display.

"I dunnno if anyone forgot to bring a mask, or just simply didn't have anything mask like. So I brought these, in case." She explained casually, trying not to seem nervous about receiving any quips about her.

As the meeting came under way Molly decided her best tactic was; 1- Stay quiet. 2- listen to what was offered. 3- Have a cigarette. Step three was very important. As she she listened quietly from her corner she outstretched one of her legs, loosening her jeans just enough that she could stuff a hand into her pocket and produce a pack of reds and a blue baby-bic. She returned her leg to its bent angle and pressed her thighs together to give her a pseudo bench. She pulled a cig from the pack and set the box on her lap. She placed the filter between her lips and with a couple flicks a flame was produced and her cig was alight. She took an overjoyed inhaled, letting the nicotine seep into her lungs before exhaling a plume of smoke.

All this time she continued to listen to the meeting unfold. She listened as Agatha explained the current situation over the news articles. How people, which apparently could only be assumed by what little was left, were found murdered; left as skeletons in a pool of viscera and blood. Everyone, almost, agreed it was probably a serial killer and not worth snooping around to get caught and have suspicion cast their way; especially for a non-supernatural occurrence. Molly wasn't honestly convinced of that theory. But she needed to get her hands on one of those sheets that Agatha printed out.

Molly grabbed her pack and lighter from her lap and put out her almost finished cigarette on the side of the empty pot she sat upon before standing and moving over to the large table. As the rest of the group discussed, bickered, and snipped at each other Molly took one of the many as yet to have been snatched up printed articles sprawled across the tattered felt of the table. She took the article back to a new, closer sitting area nearby Sin and Elise. She opted for sitting on the floor, crossing her legs under herself criss-cross applesauce style and leaning her back against a large pillar she could only assume was a structurally significant item to keeping this entire lobby from crumbling. She unceremoniously dropped her pack and lighter on her lap once more as her eyes scanned over the sheet of paper.

From what this article was saying this didn't sound like a serial killer. Netflix would suggest this level of carnage wouldn't be committed so hastily yet so completed. Slash em up, dump chemical on em. All out in the open of their yards. She'd assume some human serial killer would have kidnapped and done all this is a secure location than dumped afterwards. This seemed like something that wasn't afraid of someone stumbling upon them committing the act. And extra-normals were just cocky enough to not worry about measly humans happening upon their kills. Or that at least is what she thought.

She wanted to offer her opinion but quickly squashed that idea. She needed to prove her role in the coven more before she started feeling comfortable enough to throw out opinions. Anyways, by the time she was done reading it seemed nearly everyone was on board with Kayla request; which seemed assuredly extra-normal.

'Wait...' She began in the silence of her own thoughts. 'Vampires are fucking REAL?'

The Organic Bean

There in this shitty coffee house, that seems to have a magnetic pull on all the pretentious entities Tampa had to offer, Molly state lazily behind a counter. Mindlessly tapping at a screen as she was rattled off a list of instructions on how to make a simple cup of black coffee with foamed milk; which apparently this customer believed needed 37 steps to complete. She forced a smile as she gave the total, only to get a credit card unceremoniously shoved in her direction. She swallowed groaned that tempted its way towards her lips before taking it, charging the woman and returning the card and receipt. As she turned to make the order she checked the clock, 2:47pm. This last 13 minutes were gonna be agonizing...

Lucky Strike Casino

a handful of minutes after 3 o'clock an old and rusted '97 chevy s10 parked in the near empty lot; aside from the others cars from the Coven. Seeing as she was already late might as well change in her car before heading in. She quickly stripped out of her work clothes down to her 'skivvies' and pulled out a change of clothes she kept in her glove box. The small truck jostling lightly as she squirmed within trying to pull on the clothes in the confined environment.

Once dressed she pulled the door handle and slammed her shoulder against the door to get it to open; a trick she has become quite an expert at to release the often stuck door. As she hopped out and stuffed her keys into a pocket she quickly adjusted her clothes to lay properly. She wore a simple black t-shirt that was a little loose on her petite figure. Possibly lifted from a clothing outlet that she didn't properly scope the size of before walking out of the store with it. She also wore a pair of simple dark jeans that actually fit appropriately and some older black and white converse she's had for years. As she made her way to the main door to the rundown casino she quickly ruffled her fingers through hair to get the loose strands out of her face. As she pushed her way through the door she nearly slipped on the fallen slices of pizza right there at the entrance.

Falling back into her default she instinctively went to pick up the slices and throw them into a nearby pizza box before taking that now filled box to a nearby trash can. As she quietly tossed it into the trash she finally took note of the room. Realizing that was probably a useless thing to do. This place was already wrecked, loose pizza on the floor wasn't really the main issue with this places cleanliness. She simply had been conditioned to pick up any mess upon returning home. And in some weird place, this place felt like home to her; excluding the fear, she actually felt at peace here at least to some degree.

Without a word she awkwardly looked away from the group and avoided eye contact with anyone that made have given her weird looks. She moved off to one of the corners of the large main hall and took a seat on an overturned tree pot that has been empty since they first came here. She knew she was out of place here. They were all some semblence of true Extra-Normals. Molly was just a normie with a weird tattoo. So she tried to not step on any toes.
@Ghost Note Okay! Made some edits to Molly's history. Let me know if anything else needs revision :)
