Hayato Nodded at Shinrei and sighed once again "I need answers. now or never but if you want to tell me alone then so be it, you better remember those words of yours" Hayato said to Shinrei mostly with respect but also slight distrust he had just met the guy after all and suddenly noticed Hayate ran off to follow Shinrei dragging her sister along while she was at it though it was just a habit of hers as Hayate ran after the young man she quickly took out a impressive paper-craft out of her bag and handed it to Shinrei which represented the powerful blue-eyes white dragon, "i worked a few months on this paper-craft but um... as a apology for my interruption please accept this a gift!" Hayate really didn't want to kill the conversation between her brother and Shinrei so she offered her favorite paper-craft to the man whom she might have angered slightly but she really didn't know for sure but she wanted to be safe rather than sorry not realizing that she'd have to work months to make another one

Hayato followed her sister and looked rather surprised at Hayate's offering and looked more closely at the paper-craft which he personally never had seen before, the details on the dragons scales were rather eye catching as well the impressive pose the dragon was put in despite being made of paper, below it stood a mini-Hayato cowering in fear which Hayato kinda chuckled at, Hayato looked at his sister once again speechless of what she is doing but simply nodded and looked at the paper-craft and simply said to shinrei "Don't mind her... you don't have to take it. she just really hates being a bother to anyone" and promptly turned his back to Shinrei as he did when he walked away and simply left Hayate to do whatever she wanted it really was none of his business after all and decided to check back on Haas who seemed to have fallen asleep while standing "How did he pull that off...?" he wondered but shortly realized he was just half-asleep which he could understand he took 5 laps around the stands with Hayate after all

That is how Shinrei and his father are. His father runs a multi-billion dollar company that deals with dueling equipment. Despite hating his father, he is still supplied with dueling equipment from his father and any financial needs he needs.

hmm i assume you have read Hayato's history
but yeah his father is a professional duelist, and his mother provides him with random duel-junk that failed to go through some crap

i like the idea of the business-like mentor to student being initiated by his FATHER not Hayato

yup nostalgic feeling, though i do wonder what my character's relationship with his father is, Hayate's is slightly negative due to her brother being taken away from her though.

i would like him and his father's relationship to be more like a business-like relationship, he sees him as his mentor and nothing else

i will keep his father's name a secret... wait what would shinrei say if Hayato said "my mentor's pride and joy was his blue-eyes white dragon"

@Xeiyenreishashe is those people who want to be friends with everyone suits her character and Hayato? he'd be a serious person who takes dueling seriously due to his father, whom was a duelist who used blue-eyes a lot it was his pride and joy after all (no its not kaiba but he might mention that his father's pride and joy is blue-eyes white dragon)
