Hello everyone, I am interested in joining this RP. I had Sage check my character sheet already and details were change in order to achieve adequate presentation. Enjoy! :D

Name: Carol-Ann Keifers
Alias: Maj. Keifers, The Red Angel
Age: 22 years old
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Magmel, Arcarus
Current Home: Sovereign's military HQ

Personality: Carol-Ann's mind has always had trouble relating to others when it came to anything that stood in the grounds of emotions or even personal needs and/or desires. Actually, she never really had the ability to empathize with others unless philosophy or general culture were the topics of discussion, as her life in the Province of Arcarus initiated her mind into the world of doubt and constant questioning. Her philosophy rests on the acceptance of one's being and holding dearly to their values and convictions. Through this mindset, she is capable of respecting those who follow that same path.

She is undoubtedly a psychopath, being unable to feel remorse or control her actions, and she's come to terms with that fact about her. She fully accepts and lives as if she has absolutely no control over her pathology, despite the fact that she isn't an exception to the control freak trait many sociopaths inherit. She's quick to throw an extremely violent fit of rage if anything dissatisfies her in a what she would see as a bitter defeat. She isn't above murdering just about anyone during temper tantrums, and that doesn't exclude her ability to freely execute someone even when in a calm state. Indeed, she's completely capable of adapting to her social environment, passing off as invisible to most people as she was obligated to do during her teens.

The biggest problem she has with interacting, however, is the idea that she has to recognize everyone's freedom. She loathes the concept of individual freedom, the concept that any nobody could have just as much of a say as her, she can't stand it. She dreams of a world where everyone is forced to recognize she is right, where nothing can be said about "opinions" and "individual value". The acquiring of her newly gained powers have only stimulated the God complex inside of her.

She's calculating, and thorough in her thought process. She often failed in many classes of prestigious schools she attended to, but this was because of her inability to grasp theoretical classes and abstract representations of ideas such as economical theories or equations. She's more into concrete reasoning, she needs to be able to visualize the physical nature of the idea she analyzing, making her a formidable tactician when it comes to real fighting. The sole exception to this is philosophy, the science of knowledge, as she has a full understanding of the human mind and often uses that to her advantage to get what she wants. It is also the reason as to why she was never retired immediately from the army.

Bio: Born in the small town of Magmel, not too far from Arcarus' capital, Argos. She hated that town, every child she ever ended up playing with was either a worthless crybaby who couldn't handle the rules of the game or they were too stupid to grasp how much better she was in whatever she played. She was indeed quite competitive and still hates losing to this day, which made her quite the challenge in any given sport. However this also made her incompetent in collective activities in which cooperation was a must in order to achieve victory. Nothing went like she wanted it to, there was always some adult who intervened when she got her game up or the others would simply do their best to gang up on her so she would simply go away. She hated it.

Her parents had already conceived a first child ten years before her birth, and with such a large gap of age there weren't many things the two girls could do together because of the difference of maturity. Carol-Ann's sister, Murielle, had a very small role in her life, unlike the parents who stemmed the accumulated rage in the young girl. Oddly enough, they were nothing more than ordinary folks who ran simple lives and only a divorce a few years after C-A's birth spiced things up a bit. Her father was a Colonel in the army back then, when the army barely had any importance at all, while her mother was a housewife and never had a job. Carol-Ann despised them for this, for being normal, for being nothing special unlike the many high class children she had the chance to frequently be acquainted to during her school years. Her dad brought just enough money for food and the typical birthday gifts. She loathed the poor, they were disgusting, they had nothing, and her family was simply dragging her down in the common hole, a place where a fine person such as herself didn't belong. She was convinced that he destiny was away from these "creatures", that she needed power, fortune, fame so she could finally be recognized as the immensely grand individual she is.

Unfortunately, she realized the hard way that rage and frustration as well as malefic intentions brought her nowhere. At school she was often hated by others because of her temper and her desire to manipulate others into doing things she found funny, but others simply found out of place. Eventually she adapted to this repulsive world that had sunken to the point of being unable to cope with her "superior" goals, but she was convinced this would only be temporary, until the day she'd finally have the correct parameters to finally achieve her dream. After finishing her basic education, she was recruited to the army thanks to her determination, physical capabilities and most of all the connections of her father in the system. At that point, she knew that demanding the big cheese right away wasn't the way to go, she'd have to earn her place, as much as it irritated her. The army trained her in multiple arts until she specialized in knives in tandem with military pistol usage. She was eventually sent as a working officer and peace keeper in Argos, aged 19. Her co-workers were lower lifeforms to her, none of them had any form of higher education or specific prestige, nothing at all. She was still following political studies in parallel with her military formation so she could earn money and special privileges given to public servants.

Struggling with the ambiguous subjects she had to take to succeed in the Political sciences, she had strongly reduced military service so she could achieve her goal for power. It appeared odd to her superiors as she wasn't too far from a genius in the domain, having impressive skills in learning fighting techniques and being able to find concrete solutions to many dilemmas in short periods of time. But it made all too much sense to her, she wouldn't reach what she wants fast enough with such a lousy position, she needed the knowledge, the diplomas, the connections, the perfect identity. It eventually came to her moving away from Arcarus altogether, leaving her whole family behind, never to even call them once after her last goodbye. She went to Sovereign where she'd attend Sovereign's Administration and Law School. The school was expensive, hence her continued activity in the military so she could perceive a regular salary and pay off scholarship.

Then, it came. The Void unleashed itself on Sovereign. Carol-Ann, only 21 and somewhat experienced face head-on the chaos released in the world. It was sporadic, bloody, mortifying. She loved it, there wasn't anything above her in this kind of world, she could easily kill her superior and have no direct consequences, after all she could just blame it on some psycho, no one would care more than that. Nonetheless, she still had things to do in this city and screwing around for the fun wasn't going to solve anything. Using her knives and duty pistol, she was obliged to murder multiple suspects who appeared to be causing havoc, more or less. She shot them, stabbed them, sliced them, and she didn't feel bad about nor ever asked herself the question "Would I like to be treated that way?". No, this was obviously amusing. It was especially amusing when one seriously posed a threat to her, one of those people who were affected by these magical creature-things. He wanted to kill her, probably because he saw she was of law
enforcement, but she was too pleased to give him that opportunity. Three small blades hurled at the man, three of them pierced his rib cage. One was lodged in his right lung, on in the upper side of the liver and the final one at the heart. Just as she wanted it to be. It was a clean kill, and the simple fact of realizing she had taken about 35 years of memories, of life, of joy, of importance to others away from the individual because she simply could, made her as the most vulgar would say: "Moist".

Visually amused by the death she had brought, she skipped to the body to pick up the bloody blades she had thrown, only to be assaulted by a blue light released from the man's dead corpse. It was too fast, and she couldn't react to it on time. The Kamikage, Morel, had bound himself to her out of despair. At first she thought she was just tripping, but eventually she realized she had a blathering blue bird of the male gender talking to her out of nowhere. Though their exchanges were short, she could only belittle the creature while it quickly became infatuated by her for reasons no one seem to understand. In the end, the bird wasn't a big deal, as she had gained the kind of power she sought to gain, though this was way more literal than what she initially planned. As a test for her newly acquired abilities, she caused the explosion of the School she studied in, killing not only the many students and civilians hiding in there but also killing off her colleagues who were unlucky enough to witness the act. She was drunken with power, her abilities to literally make anything explode were magnificent. They were simply a dream come true.

However, soon after the calming of the incident, she was captured during one of her early rampages by hunters. Her recklessness made her pay the price. For about a month, she was tortured with never ending experiments until she managed to rub an ounce of her spirit on the coat of a researcher, causing the man to explode on the spot and giving her an escape. Because she had planned it for a while, the execution was precise, though sloppy. Nonetheless, all the soldiers and researchers were quickly murdered, allowing her an quick escape. Walls were pointless and never kept her pinned, as such gaining access to the higher ups wasn't an problem when every obstacle met could be simply turned into a bomb. As she met with her old employers, she had the choice to kill them out of vengeance, or compromise. Either strip herself of any form of freedom and run out like a hunted down rabbit. Or, work for them, get all the privileges she could want while hunting down all the problems the military would be faced with. They would not only have a Guardian as an asset but also a worthy test subject when it came to field testing.

As of now, she holds the position of Major and is going to b assigned as the first commander of a new Hunter squad with ambiguous goals as of now. One must only know that hunters are just as much predators to any form of Kage than the Onikage are to the Kamikage.

Appearance:

Special Traits/Weapons:
Expert skills in knife fighting
Highly potent field tactician
Terrifying presence, she can easily intimidate people with words, a stare and would sometimes refer to their weak spots
Her marksman skills have been honed for multiple years

Military handgun: The typical handgun used by military officials, and usually trusted to higher ups due to the potential it wields. It holds two extra slots for cores, and this particular one is dedicated to the Land and Lightning cores. They can be used simultaneously to create specific shots, notably explosive rounds of the normal and bullets combined with stronger flashes of light emitting for the barrel when shots are being fired. Each individual core can produce up to 150 shots.

Combat knives: She holds a total of five military knives hidden in different places in her attire. Each of them have an isolating hilt, preventing electricity from flowing down to the user's hands.
-The first one is the most exposed as it it stored on Keifers' belt. It holds the Kinetic core within the hilt and it grants the user the defensive abilities of a Kinectic core applied on the weapon, thus allowing easy deflection of opposing attacks and easier openings.
-The second one is attached on he right thigh and hidden under her skirt. It holds the water core, allowing it to release streams if water out of the tip of the blade. The abundance of the water can be quite severe, making it possible to flood a small, boxed area by stabbing the knife on the ground. It is mostly used in tandem with the lightning core.
-The third one is on the opposing thigh of the water knife. It holds the lightning core, and of course, the blade is electric. The intensity of the electricity can be enough to paralyze a rather strong individual and kill weaker ones.
-The fourth one is hidden under her right sleeve and easily slides down by command. The fire core is attached to it, which requires a much more resilient metal to harness its power. The blade heats itself intensely to the point of being able to cut off metals such as steel and iron with relative ease.
-The final blade is on Keifers' back, just under her neck and hidden behind her clothes. It holds the wind core and simply allows it to release long rang air slashes the size of the knife strike. It can only form wind slashes and not pinpoint stabs with the current technology.

Throwing knives: Knives small enough to be hidden in the dozens within clothes and small pouch compartments. They are small enough to be unnoticeable when hidden on Keifers' being, and they are quite effective when thrown in groups.

Kinetic Shield: Like many members of the military, Keifers wields a bullet-proof vest with the kinetic core implanted, allowing an extra layer of defenses covering all of her body and back leaving the limbs and head exposed.

Holopad It is a wrist watch used to create holograms in order to see whoever she's communicating with. It is supposed to be the best quality the government can offer. Its color is blue.

Theme Song: Red Sun
Kage Type: Kamikage
Kage Name: Morel
Kage Primary Power: "Bomb Creation" This power manifests itself in a way that it combines itself with pretty much anything tangible. Keifers exerts her power by forming blue orbs on her hand and hurling them in a linear fashion toward a target. The speed of such a projectile isn't as great as a bullet's, but it can easily surpass the speed of a fastball in baseball. Once the power fuses with whatever it comes into contact with, the affected element gains a new "feature", it becomes a bomb. It can explode immediately or in a predetermined time, usually decided by the user. The range of this power isn't too big, for instant if it were to hit one's abdomen, there would only be a large hole in there instead of the whole body exploding. The same for a member, only the member would explode (should level would be lethal however).
This also can be combined with movement but in a much less lethal degree. For instance, Keifers is capable of turning the particles in the air she's touching directly, only when it's followed by a strong enough movement like a punch. The direction of the explosion will be dictated by the direction of the movement, thus the pressure released by the explosion will only go in one direction (huehue). This isn't lethal, and will in the worst break a weak bone or two because the particles in the air are simply too small to create an adequate force to actually damage properly. Nonetheless it pushes stuff away very effectively.
Kage Secondary Power: Although developing this was difficult, Morel's love and empathy for Carol-Ann allows him to offer her a feature of his being. As blue wings made of pure energy are formed on her back. They essentially allow her to fly and channel a larger amount of explosive projectiles simultaneously.
Kage Personality/Description: Morel is a generous and rather easily submitted Kage. He deeply cares for his host to the point of actually falling in love with Keifers despite the monstrosity she is. It is safe to assume he is a naive young man as he tries to explain his feelings for her just as effectively as one would try to teach colors to a blond person. He takes the form of a small Blue Jay.
Ruri Zuodian

Ruri's brow rose upon seeing the boy's reaction. The dodging was perfectly normal of course, she didn't expect him to actually get hit on the first go, but his lack of competence in Shuriken throwing was rather disconcerting. With her kunai in one hand, she simply swiped the one that got closer to her with the blade, causing it to crash diagonally downwards while the other one went simply past her. This was easy, and she didn't expect too much from a low level clan member of the Hanamoto (anything that isn't the heir is low level). As she was about to mock the boy in return, she could hear the air grazing shuriken spin nearby as if it were getting louder very quickly. This caused her to turn her head just slightly, only to realize one of them was coming back like some unconventional boomerang. Reflexes came in action from there, making her move her head on time, resulting in only her cheek getting a clean yet superficial cut. The shuriken was hurling back at Daisuke and with that dodge she could easily face him if he were to attempt something while she took the quick peek.

"Freaking peasant. Using crap tools to get me. You're the typical downgrade of Kanajiro huh?"

Her kunai was also held up in a more defensive stance, her right foot stepping on the derived shuriken from earlier. Her second hand held made a small and quick gesture, causing a paper bomb to slide down on her palm. But the side facing the palm was the seal, and the side facing the exterior was the adhesive white portion used to trap those who tried to go frontal with her as it barely looked like anything other than some bland white paper from anyone else's perspective. There was no need to use chakra in this case, nor was there any urgency to get all gimmicky and show off all of her little tricks quite yet. She had time to break his leg and render her as effective as fish out of the water.

The Rise of a Violent Flame - One year in the past

It was a warm late morning and Ruri was, as always stuck at home doing endless amounts of homework give by her home tutors and one could easily guess she was already sick of the static life she was currently living. The window of her room was open right before her work desk and she could simply peer down at the streets adjacent to her household, envying those who didn't have to work but at the same time patronizing them for not being her. She wanted out, but couldn't find the motivation to do so as it would infuriate her impatient father in more than recommended proportions. She bit the eraser stuck on the end of her pencil and chewed on it like an anti-stress mechanism or a simple tic, hoping that she could make time pass after that way, after all lunch time was synonym of break time and eventually other things would occur during the afternoon that would distract her from her current obligations.

However it would only be when a familiar voice would be heard that her passive attitude would suddenly turn into an actively excited and motivated one, her head swiftly poking out of the window frame to check out what was passing-by, only to see the Hanamoto clan's heir and Ruri's buddy, Kanajiro. A grin of pure joy formed on her face as she grabbed a couple of items she fit in a pouch she was given recently before blatantly jumping out of the window. She hopped on the neighboring house's roof so she could follow the young boy a little, the boy who was walking along two other individuals whom Ruri could only guess were fellow clansmen by the diction he was employing. After a couple of roof switching, she decided it was finally time to spook him by dropping down and landing right in front of his face. That worked, almost, for everything went perfectly until she tried to control her position after the landing. She skills allowed her to fall off high distances and land without harm, but she was still prone to a few slip ups, and these happened to be one of them. She humorously slipped backwards on her behind while leaving Kanajiro completely adamant toward the ridicule of the situation.

"Ow damn it, uugh. Wow you really suck for a man if you're not going to help me get up."

She said in a very sassy and rather provocative manner. She liked to hit Kanajiro's masculinity, like any other man, but poking on his patience regarding that satisfied her more for some reason, perhaps it would be her search of empowerment over a gender she considers more imposing? It didn't really matter why she did it as most of her insults were unwarranted to begin with. She looked at Kanajiro who remained silent for another second, likely in a little pickle when it came to analyzing the situation. Ruri had never done such a stunt before, so it seemed a bit odd for him to see her do such a thing.

"Oh erm Ruri, are you okay?! What in the world is going on in that mind of yours?"

He asked as though he was worried but his tone gave it away, he was too used to seeing Ruri do ridiculous things and simply losing her grip a multiple games they would play together that he didn't really care anymore. He grabbed her hand and helped her back up, and upon doing so the young girl didn't waste one second and brushed off the dirt stuck on her posterior.

"As if some chicken shit clansman would understand my obviously transcendent motives. Anyway who are the two jerkwads?"

She asked, not even giving a look to the individuals next to Kanajiro as if she barely considered human beings to begin with. Kanajiro always noticed these bad tendencies of her's but never really bothered to correct her on that, likely because he knew it was futile but also deep in his mind he knew why she did this. He still sighed and paused a second, looking at the man on his right, then the one on his left before facing the sassy Ruri once more.

"This is Hat-.."

"On second thought, don't care. I want YOU to come with me to the park. I have something special to show you~"

After cutting Kanajiro at the start of his sentence, the end of her reply seemed a bit more provocative than before, as if she was implying something rather suspicious in nature. Kanajiro's eyebrow arched just slightly, too experienced with her to know this could lead to anything, but more often than naught he'd end up hurt somewhere, big or small. He rubbed the back of his head as he was in a tough situation: He'd either leave his fellow clansmen in favor of Ruri or join her and inevitably have her harass him for the rest of the day.

"You're really not giving me any breaks, are you? Alright, I'll be back in an hour or two."

Kanajiro waved his companions, dismissing them so he could devote some time to his friend. Ruri watched the two individuals go with a satisfied smirk on her face. She was happy that she had some privileges many couldn't compare to and that she could impose her will on certain people at any time she wanted. But she was wise enough to not force herself all the time on Kanajiro and only took initiatives when they presented themselves quite openly. As she turned her attention back to the Hanamoto boy, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him with her as she jogged through the linear street. He followed painfully behind at first since she didn't even warn before she starting running, but he ended up quickly coping with her speed. After five minutes, they hit a small park where trees were predominant in numbers over houses and barely anyone could see the two there.

"Okay, okay. Just stand back this may make your tiny mind go haywire just of how awesome this is."

She warned the boy who had his arms crossed at that point. He was slightly intrigued to find out what she was planning to do, was it going to be a random punch in the face? A super mega insult? Or was it something worth hiding from the public? Either way, his curiosity got him there as he awaited the result. He had taken a couple of steps back while Ruri had weaved two hand signs rather quickly before clapping both her hands together. They remained closed for about five seconds, a drop of sweat had time to start on her right temple and slide down to the level of her cheek, as she tried to concentrate something.

"What are you trying to do Ruri?"

"SHUT UP WAIT A SEC!"

She shouted as if Kanajiro had taken her favorite toy away before taking her focused expression once more. But after a couple of seconds, two flames formed over her back. They were two small fireballs that quickly merged and exploded into a pair of rather large winds for her figure, both being about twice as large as Ruri's silhouette. She appeared as some sort of flaming angel from where Kanajiro was, a creature not of this world. It was an interesting power and something he had not seen used that way before, but flames were obviously not so rare in the Hanamoto clan, which ended up leaving him a bit adamant toward this little show as much as he was with Ruri falling before him.

"That's pretty impressive Ruri, I did not know you've had the fire release as well as the earth release you've shown me before."

He said with a friendly smile on his face, he appeared to be happy for her and glad that she could progress, though one could only guess he would be bitter that she was able to use two elements before he could. That's what Ruri told herself, but she had an even better thing in mind to reply.

"Hah, fire? Me?! Sure I can do those eventually ... BUT! This isn't some poor man's fire release -giggle- But a rare Kekkei Genkai, my super Explosion release!"

She wailed without any hesitation just to rub it in Kanajiro's face. From what she knew, he couldn't do such things and she was confirmed by her tutors that she indeed possessed a superior chakra than the basic five elements that were commonly found in nature. She looked to smug when she talked with those wings on which made Kanajiro pout in disinterest when he heard the word Kekkei Genkai. He indeed still looked unimpressed, and he even seemed skeptical about all of this for Ruri was truly capable of joking around just to hit a man's ego.

"This looks like Fire release to me. How can this be any different from fire? They are flames under the form of wings."

He asked, wanting proof of her claims since he went all this way just to see this. Ruri's grin turned back into a smile, she was going to BLOW his mind with her new technique.

"Haha, I knew a complete bummer like you would ask this. You're going to see the extent of my ... Phoenix Ascension."

She said while looking at him before pausing for about a second. Kanajiro stood still, waiting for the big surprise, but before anything special would happen, Ruri would pull out another one of her ridiculous games on him.

"HeylosersaysWHAT."

As she said that mass of four words in a rather quick manner, her wings flexed and released explosion chakra to hurl the girl forward in exception speed, like she was some sort of rocket being compulsively ejected horizontally. The few steps of distance between them would make this surprise approach more than stunning for those unprepared. He fist ready, she was going to punch him in the gut as punishment for not paying attention while using that speed. At least he could witness the reason why this ability was explosion release and could feel the extent of its ability, literally.
Anal fisting is your thing huh?

do you.. EAT DA POO POO?!

Needs more punching.
Ruri Zuodian

She had her arms crossed and grew quickly impatient as she was expecting her future sensei to be the formal type, wearing official Granite Guard uniforms she'd probably find lacking in taste, hence why so many common individuals would appear unnoticed to her. But a sudden familiar voice roamed in the air which solicited her attention. It was familiar in a sense that it reminded her of Kanajiro but only some aspects of the time she could spend with him, yet couldn't pinpoint what exactly. Surely it wasn't too important and voices can sound similar after all. She'd turn to face the source of the voice and as a reaction to glancing for the first time at her new teammate, she'd simply scrutinize Daisuke's entire body with her eyes. After a second of silence, she'd chuckle upon looking at him straight at the face, arms still crossed and a mocking tone quickly possessing the fluidity of her speech.

"Wow, you suck if that's the best you've got to say hello to a lady. I assume we're going to be in a forced relationship if you're here for the same reasons I am. Pity, I was hoping at least a well placed Hanamoto would accompany me in this perilo-..."

She had stopped her more than insulting babbling about her tastes in colleagues as their newly suited Sensei had entered the scene with a quick but effective introduction. Of course such a lack of class made Ruri cringe inside, but at least he was wearing hat appeared to be new clothes. And he didn't smell bad. She couldn't say the same about Daisuke however, he looked like he had trained like a tryhard this morning just to show off to the new boss. Before Ruri could have an adequate response, the sensei had already ordered them to follow him as he walked away. She quickly turned to face Daisuke with an eyebrow raised and her shoulders shrugging to display he lack of belief as to what just happened. At least she wasn't the only one with a somewhat sassy behavior, but she only liked it when it was her that did it, not others.

They arrived at some ugly place where the adult started to talk about the status of the area, of course it didn't interest Ruri one bit as she simply contented herself to follow him and stop where he stopped. She could see similar graffiti on the walls of the old, abandoned houses which marked their future renovation through demolition. They were the mark of Ruri's father's activity, where his business would reach to give jobs to locals who desperately needed some money and sank low enough to ask the Zuodians for help, so of course Ruri would know what this place was. He then talked about himself, Ruri couldn't help but roll her eyes and sigh really deeply when he mentioned being some bogus secret weapon. Although she hasn't directly seen it, the Tsuchikage's power appeared to be much more intimidating than anything this weirdo could stack up.

The final part of the man's discourse was hitting a subject Ruri really appreciated: Fighting. Of course, his little threats about taking only one of the two was pretty snicker worthy considering one pupil was a Zuodian and another was a Hanamoto, the kind of people you don't just dispose of out of ridiculous claims. If Ruri had known he was from the land of wind and the desert village, she would have simply mocked Xavi and dismissed everything as childish lies. But as the theme of fighting each other got stronger, Ruri couldn't really hold herself ; while neither of the students were in battle positions and the kids weren't too far apart, Ruri took advantage of that by sliding a shuriken that was hidden in her sleeve down to her hand and immediately hurled it toward Daisuke without fair warning or even a look at him. She simply quickly turned to face him, and in that same action, threw the shuriken toward the center of his chest. She originally aimed for the abdomen, but the chest would have to do, after all she did got for the element of surprise.

"Does Dead but still in one piece count, Sensei?"

She asked with obvious sadism flowing out of her intentions. As her throw was over, she had already taken an aggressive stance with a kunai bearing a paper bomb around its handle in her right hand. She wasn't one for killing for free, but her teacher had inserted some stakes that somewhat nullified that moral restriction she had and simply put her in wartime conditions. If she could, she'd kill Daisuke just to assert herself as the better pupil, though of course she wouldn't kill him if he gave up or wouldn't be able to fight. She may be sadistic, but her upbringing has brought to resist certain urges that could get her in situations where she wouldn't be able to release her sadistic tendencies any longer.
