Let's B!tch. I feel it's a healthy release for our roleplay annoyances 2.0

Child characters. I have nothing against children in general but when it comes to people using them in a roleplay with a more matured theme ― e.g. post-apocalyptic ―, I develop a deep sense of loathing behind their logic of it. I mean why would you, of all the character types available, choose someone who is weak, fragile and incapable of making the most basic of decisions in a post-apocalyptic setting? You're basically incorporating a living, breathing hindrance to a group who're striving for any means of survival. In my opinion, the best use for these characters is just being NPCs alone. I can understand some people who use them on an effective and more realistic approach. Let's say the purpose of which is to establish a point of development that this child can muster over the span of the RP. I don't know if there are roleplayers who are like these because I rarely see any of them. All I see are people describing their child characters as strong-willed, nimble, sneaky or capable of slipping through vast hordes of zombies without being bitten at the slightest bit and able to make intelligent decisions, later making fools out of the adults. Worst of all, when these so-called child characters are played IC, their actions and way of thinking are of no different from the adults. Sorry, these things just make me want to crack an acorn using my teeth.

@LadyTaleHis inability to fight will be a great issue for Lloyd to deal with but I can see no problem with his future use. Who knows? he might be trained for other possible things such as espionage when the RP advances. Other than that, I like him and he's accepted. ^^ You may now post him at the character tab.

@Teal TurtletonYes of course. For now, we can have non-Superhuman characters as I myself am playing the organization's current leader. (who also isn't a Superhuman) Perhaps at the start of the RP, you can state that your character is already working for S.C.A.R. but then again, it will depend on you.

And not knowing too much of the Marvel characters is perfectly fine as the RP is just an inspiration from its universe. Key elements include the concept of Superhumans but I know we're all familiar with that. ^^

@Dirty DanIt's as advanced as most futuristic settings, (like plasma rifles, rocket launchers, laser blades and the like) though the weapons that we have at present time are still being utilized in the RP. Let's say they were progressed during and after the revolutionary war for the sole purpose of fighting off Superhumans. An example is the government's invented technology which nullifies a Superhuman's power. Currently, Superhumans won't be having an easy time committing to a life of crime simply because police force are well-equipped with these said technology let alone an advanced set of weapons they were trained to use. Only at the RP's present time did they start having troubles keeping riotous Superhumans at bay due to the corruption of their system. However, S.C.A.R. also got something off their sleeves as their self-invented technologies are as equally advanced as that of the government ― or perhaps a bit more advanced to be precise.
