Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

The man let the dijin off his shoulders and back onto the ground. The worst case scenario was at hand and the two were dealing with an experienced necromancer or, God forbid, an actual lich. "Christ almighty. Why would an experienced necromancer or lich choose this place? If they wanted to amass an army of undead, there were far larger cemeteries near the city outskirts." The man tried to find reason to this act when he saw a stumbling figure fifty meters away from their position. Not breaking eye contact with the figure, he gently taps his hand on Argus' arm. "Argus, I think I found our first zombie..." The man then draws his runed truncheon, ready to engage.
@Phantomlink959
The man smirks at the faux complaint of the dijin. The man then walks near the pillar-esque gravestone and mutters a quiet apology to the owner before going to a knee and nodding to his partner that he was ready to boost him up. The dijin had mentioned that he wasn't that heavy and Richard took note that he ought not to put too much power behind the upward force. Lest he send his partner flying a short distance.
Ed knew this was just one unfortunate event after another coalescing to this massive fuck up. Ed was upset, no he was livid, on how badly things were going. This was similar the time on his first day when Asteria's sister bit that wisp out of nowhere when she felt threatened by it, a simple yet catastrophic miscommunication that led to a massive mess he was unsure that could be fixed. Though, it mattered little now, the wisp and the cocoon it carried was gone and Jason was hell bent on slaughtering the goblins and from what he could infer at the time, the wisp.

He knew that the mage slime was fighting against the goblins when he had run off to demand answers and decided to head back to him. Ed take advantage of his camouflage combined with his [Muffle I] skill to keep his approach as quiet as possible. He could feel his body at the brink of collapse, bruises and scratches littered his body. The acid burn he sustained to his leg still sent dull throbs of pain. If they were still fighting, he couldn't afford any of his opponents to notice him before he could attack. Though what he saw shocked the young dire rat. There was no fight going on, but rather a sane and level minded Jason attempting to convince the scared goblin to his side. He was not alone, Asura and his mother were there dealing with the other goblins. Things were peaceful now, but for how long? Sneaking closer to the group, Ed stuck to the shadows and kept an eye on both the scared goblin with the wounded leg and the ones Asura and his mother were dealing with. Analyzing and observing their movements for any sign of aggression to any of his allies, ready to pounce out of the shadows and attack the scared goblin's vulnerable back.

"I was hoping it was just an odd wild magic surge...Oh well. Lets go find this necromancer's trail." Richard said while drawing out his runed truncheon. Approaching the pillar like tomb, he had second thoughts regarding the usage of this person's memorial as an improvised ladder. He turns to face his partner and suggests something. "Rather than desecrating the gravestone, how about we use it as a balance but you just stand on my shoulders? I am pretty tall and quite strong."
@Phantomlink959
Richard brushed his hands together to remove bits of dirt and grass from his gloves and said the activation word to the totem. The second totem planting was significantly less exciting than the first. Looking around the area, he scans for visitors, groundskeepers, and even for earth-bound souls. Seeing none, he heads to the west corner of the graveyard to meet up with Argus. It took longer than he had liked to reach the corner but soon he saw the dijin's reptilian face sniffing the air. "There were no visitors in the East of the grave yard, most likely too early for visitors to go here." Looking around the immediate area there was no sign of undead...yet. The uneasiness he felt just by being in this corner of the graveyard, was a tell tale sign that there was something that actively refused his presence. "Argus, mana surges don't normally feel like this. Nor do bio-hazards...is it what I think it is?"
@Phantomlink959
Richard nodded to the man and headed to the first corner of the graveyard. The few people who passed by payed no mind to the man walking within the grave yard. Ether too busy with their own task at hand or even simply not caring, this made his job significantly easier. It didn't take long for the agent to reach the corner, kneeling down on the still moist grass he began digging a small hole in the ground for the totem. "Zunten." The man tells the totem and the totem activates with the carvings glowing faintly, even in the morning light. "That's one down. One left." Richard was about to turn and walk to the next corner but suddenly stopped when he noticed a little girl, no older than 12, standing before him with a curious look on her face. "Who are you, mister? Cause I've never seen you here before." Richard was shocked at the suddenness of the girl's appearance as well as her question. He looked around to see if he could see the girl's parents anywhere. "Uhh...Hello, I'm Richard. I work for the government, specifically from the City Historical Society." He winced slightly. He didn't like to lie, most especially to children. "Really? Huh. Ok. I'm Emma by the way." She pauses a while.

Richard tries to move from the girl but she speaks again. "Are you sure you're just a government worker, mister? Cause I coulda sworn you were an angel." It was Richard's turn to look at the girl confused. "An angel?" The young girl perks up. "Yeah! Like the ones my mama told me about. I mean you have a halo thingy but its like all around you...then again you don't have wings, so you might just be just a glowy man." Richard looks to his person to see if he was emanating any light of sort but found nothing that would cause the girl to think he had a corona of light. There was nothing that Richard could detect, maybe there was something about the girl? It was then he noticed that the young girl's legs were semi-opaque. It finally made sense to him. She was an earth-bound spirit, possibly disturbed from her rest by whatever caused the undead disturbance. "Ahh...I understand, Emma. I may not be an angel but I can still help you." Richard takes a knee in front of the girl. "I'm going to help you now but you have to go straight to the light, ok?" The girl nods and Richard checks his surroundings to see if the odd passerby was taking notice of his action. Once he made sure there was nobody there to notice, he begins to utter a hushed prayer. At first, there was nothing happening to the girl but scant few seconds later, her body floats up and begins to fade away into particles of light lazily drifting skyward.

"...Lord I send up to you an innocent soul, too young to be taken from this world, but may she find eternal peace in your domain. Amen." The man finishes the prayer and the girl is gone. He lets out a downcast breath he didn't even realize he was holding. This was not his first time sending off a earth-bound soul to the other side...though this was the first time he sent one so young. Picking up the last totem, he heads off to the last corner of the graveyard to put the totem.
@Phantomlink959
"Understood, Argus. Zunten to activate the totem and Iesken to deactivate them." The man was about to head into the cemetery but chose to turn and ask his partner a question. "Where do we meet up after we clear out the cemetery of civilians?"

@Raining @KatherinWinter
"Understood, Essie. Please wait a moment while I retrieve a scroll." The golem agent then exits the vehicle and heads to the trunk of the car and sees numerous compartments and boxes containing gear and equipment used if needed. She opens a compartment containing a number of brownish yellow colored parchment sheets. Blank spell sheets, containing a fundamental sigil but lacking runes for a spell. Simple yet versatile tools. Simple enough for novices to effectively use but potent and versatile enough that experts keep a number on their person. Obtaining one sheet and properly closing the compartment and trunk, she moves to where Essie is seated. "The procedure is simple, Essie. I would write down the missing runes to alter this blank spell sheet into a glamour spell sheet and you simply need you to place your hand atop of the sigil." She writes down the runes and hands the sheet of parchment to the porcelain girl. "Be wise on what appearance you choose. The spell lasts for a month unless dispelled."
@Phantomlink959
The man steps out of the car and lets out a breath as he scanned the area. The fence in itself looked ancient and the years have not been kind to them. Though all things considered, the graveyard was serene and emanated a sense of rest as all grave yards should. "The report said that the sighting was on the far right corner of the cemetery. We should start the investigation there, but first we need to make sure nobody is within the graveyard and no one would enter the place while we conduct the investigation." The man then turns to face his partner. "Any particular manner you want to do this, Argus?"

@KatherinWinter @Raining
The hustle and bustle of the early morning rush caused significant congestion of traffic. Though if it was any merit, the two arrived on scene only a couple minutes off the expected time of arrival Astra had predicted. Though the matter was now locating the vampire agent. It was still relatively early in the morning, but Astra knew that even low levels of sunlight was troublesome to vampires. Parking the car in an alley way half a block away from the what Astra could surmise to be the 'Chinese place' Griffin had mentioned. It was rather inconvenient that the vampire did not mention what specific Chinese place and on what street it was, but the golem agent found a location that would most likely where the vampire agent would be. "The Jade Orchid. Most likely the 'Chinese place' Griffin had mentioned. Location is well shaded and the shop would not open until later this morning, minimizing the event of interaction with regular humans. Essie, would you require some form of disguise or glamour spell to hide your non-human characteristics?"

Roy, as soon as their barbarian was roused from his slumber, began gathering his belongings as well as the sacks that were near the brazier that Angus had obtained the previous night. The human musketeer then took note of the kobold girl's mutterings to them. Her common had a strange accent and seemed that she had a lisp. She had knowledge of this place, far more informative than what Roy knew. This irked the man's pride slightly but chose to keep his tongue silent. Finishing gathering his things and placing them in their respective places, Roy follows the majority of the party outside. The bodies of the creatures that they had slain were mysteriously gone...as well as the massive creature the monsters were feasting on.

The barbarian then spoke about something that piqued his interest. His eyes followed where the man was pointing and soon he saw the crumpled body. It was a woman in dark armor with nothing on her person, sans what she wore. She had red hair and insanely pale skin. He heard Thokk say that he should be careful in the prospect of investigating the person further. Giving him a curt nod, Roy moves a few feet closer and squints his eyes to see more of this mystery woman. "From what I can see here, the woman appears to be armored, but has no signs of any equipment nor gear. It should be also noted that she has unnaturally pale skin, yet she appears to be alive." The musketeer pauses and moves a few more feet. "...she is not human and is riddled with cuts and bruises. Though I cannot assess of their severity from this distance."

@KatherinWinter

I'm ready if you're ready, @Phantomlink959.
