Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Emil nodded in understanding to the woman's words. No matter what she did, it seemed that she could never forget the past...but the fact that she still had her family, her one reason to keep on living, made Emil believe that there was still a chance. A chance that maybe one day she just wakes up in the morning and realizes that she can finally stop. That fact made the young man feel a pang of envy. He didn't have a family to call his own, nobody to go back to. The only thing that drives him to wake up and do what he does, day in day out, is his conditioned need to punish evil; wherever it may be.

The closest thing he had to a family ever since that godforsaken day was Felix, and that wasn't saying much about the man. Distant, cold, and calculating. Those would be the three words to best describe the man. He may have been kind enough to save Emil from death's door and train him everything he knew for absolutely nothing, but it was all a means to an end. Felix knew that he was not a young man anymore and his body was not as strong, agile, and healthy as it used to be. He knew that one day, he would be killed and that would be the end to his personal crusade. Emil was the answer to his predicament, having the potential and will to become someone that can take the mantle, maybe even become greater than he could ever be.

Emil chose to not have a happy ending to his story, Felix made sure he never will.

"After nearly dying twice in the same day, food and some liquor sounds amazing." He replied to her and returned her smile with a smile of his own. The smell of the stew and the sight of the amber liquid was enticing enough, but with the announcement that Finn made that he had more whiskey in stock, the whole meal had improved a hundred times over. Emil then does an overly exaggerated bow and places a hand on his chest and uses one to direct Monika to the general area of the table, as if he was an under-dressed and overly armed concierge, and speaks with an awfully executed french accent. "After you, Madame Weiss. The table and your meal awaits this way..." Emil, unable to keep the ridiculous act any longer, lets out a snort and a short fit of giggles before standing upright again. "Christ above that was silly...none the less, lead the way."

The young man tucked his walking stick into his pack and drew forth a torch and a tinder stick from the bundle given to him. Before the darkness engulfed the village, he saw a familiar figure. A red archer. 'Lady Atisha? What in the nine hells is she doing here?' He thought to himself while filling his pockets with ten stones fitting for slinging before climbing up a 15-foot building and igniting his torch. The dark was an an advantage to the goblins against Ethan. Their eyes were used to the low light conditions of their homes and they had little issue seeing in complete darkness. Though things will change soon and Ethan would level the playing field, no matter how small the change would be. Ethan would take that advantage away from them. With a single tinder stick struck, a blazing star, a beacon of hope is born. The torch produced light in the inky darkness. The light bathed his opponents in it's radiance.

In a moment of clarity amidst the storm, he slung another stone that found purchase in striking a goblin square in it's throat. That singular and powerful strike would definitely gain the attention of the brutes away from the Red Chaser. The man wasn't close to considering leaving the village; not by a long shot. Not while those remaining goblins drew breath...even less so knowing that the red archer that had saved him twice now was also present in the village.

I hope a 1 dont mean anything bad Lucius.

His body seized up at the sight of the goblins. With such a large group of them in the town, he could only expect the worst had happened to the townsfolk. His heart raced. He was all alone faced against at least five goblins, probably many more scattered about in the silent town. This whole day had been terrible, likely the worst day of his life. Now, as if a cruel god enjoyed his suffering and plight, he was facing certain death at the hands of these psychotic midgets as one of them had seemed to smell him out. The situation seemed hopeless. The way back was littered with undead, the path forward was with goblins; anywhere else, the untamed nature was king. The stage was set. Ready for his fall into despair and inevitable demise. Such is a common occurrence in the wild and vast frontier lands...

'Horseshit...'

The look of utter defeat on his face is washed away as determination filled his very being. Many would have fallen in the face of this adversity, but not Ethan. Not today. The world pushed him too hard, and now it was his turn to push back. Calmly, he undid the strap of his satchel and placed the small bag into his durable pack. It may have not been the best material for the task, but it would suffice in this situation. He then tears a piece of cloth off his sleeve, and creates the cradle for the stone to rest in. Before, finally, taking a stone as big as a gold coin and twirls it around, spinning it faster and faster.

He spots his target, the one sniffing the air. Blood still oozing out of the fresh cuts on it's body. Letting loose the sling, the young man sends the stone speeding at the head of the goblin. Once the attack hits, Ethan then takes to the shadows of the buildings and rubs soil on his person to mask his scent as well as camouflage him to better blend in with the surroundings.

The sudden change of environment caused Ed's eyes to snap open. He was rather shocked to realize he had covered that far a distance in a metaphorical flash, but he never expected to actually be sent careening into the natural body of water in the cave. Though whats done is done, he had to make the best out of his situation. He dog-rat-y paddled like a damned pro. Instincts on how to swim and effectively use his tail and memories of his dad teaching him the basics before tossing him in the deeper end of the pool merged together and translated into synchronized paddles and precise tail ruddery. Breaching the surface he was greeted by the friendly wisp and fellow reincarnator named Danny. Paddling closer to the wisp, he replied to his greeting. "Yep! Morning to you as well DanNYOHMYGODSOMETHINGJUSTFUCKINGTOUCHEDMYTAIL!" Ed then began to panic as a larger fish got brave enough to give Ed's tail tip a gentle nib. Floundering fervently forward through the water, the fearful Ed failed to recognize that the perpetrator of the scare was an equally scared fish and not a bloodthirsty water dwelling monster looking for an Ed sized treat.

None the less, his fear and adrenaline addled mind unconsciously activated [Rabid Fit I] to strengthen and hasten his desperate paddling to the shore. Accompanied by pouring every ounce of strength his body could offer with [Stronger I], the young dire rat's unexpected morning swim would be ending shortly.

I'm in stealth just to prepare for the movement needed to get to Angus if something goes wrong.
Ed dreamt of noting while he slept.

The young dire rat had not forgotten the dream, no, it was the kind of dream where he was in a void. No sound. No light. Simply nothingness. Time seemed to crawl to a snail's pace, when moments seemed to stretch into hours as Ed's body felt rigid and stiff; barely allowing any movement beyond minute changes to where he could stare infinitely into the void. But soon enough, he woke up in a cold sweat. His breaths short and ragged as his eyes rapidly darted around the area he had slept in Jason's cave. Letting out a deep sigh of relief that he was no longer in that hell he dreamed of. Standing on all fours from where he had slept, he then received the notification that told him that he was well rested but also starving and quite thirsty. Food and water would not be an issue, the only real issue is passing through the entrance again. He told nobody this but the animated skeletons of the goblins, disturbed and unsettled him. Even if they seemed non-hostile, the fact that something dead was still animated and moving kept him on a constant state of alert and instinctual fear. A loud grumble from his stomach accompanied by a need to drink something, pushed the poor rat into desperation.

"C'mon you can do this Ed. You can do this." The young dire rat spoke to himself in an attempt to pump himself up to dash trough the entrance and hopefully not see or hear the undead...things that guarded the entrance. After taking a number of short breaths and exhaling them quickly, Ed dashed out Jason's cave as fast as he possibly could...with his eyes shut tight screaming like a madman: "I CAN'T SEE YOU NOR HEAR YOUR CREEPY NOISES! LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!" to drown out the fact that more of the skeleblins had appeared and deafen him to clicking and clacking of the rattling bones as one marched back and forth. Ed, successfully avoiding a confrontation from the undead goblins, met a tragic fate as he did not take into consideration how fast he was going and how close he was getting to the pool of water until he ran head first into the placid waters with an ungraceful, yet magnificent splash.

"Understood." The golem then abruptly and instantaneously dropped the man back to the ground. Considering that he was wringing out the lingering uncomfortable feeling in where he was held by the golem, it was safe to say that he would be not attacking the agents anytime soon. She returned to where she had located the strange liquid and proceeded to place a small amount of the substance in her mouth. The sensors did their job while her scrying spells and analysis programs cross examined the substance to former cases in relation to shapeshifters.

Analyzing substance...Complete.
Substance identified as: Ectocromapitol
Sample Age: 1 hours 03 minutes

Sample is present in: 2,142 cases from: 1931 to 2018...

Ectocromapitol is a substance secreted by most forms of creatures under the genus Forma Mutante upon transformation and alteration of their beings.

Proposal: Disclose information regarding information to Agent Griffin.
System Notification

"Griffin, the substance is Ectoromapitol and the sample is only one hour and three minutes old. The suspect cannot have gone far." This was what Astra surmised. Full body transformations took a toll on the metabolisms of shifters and similar species as they need to expend large amounts of calories to alter their bodies drastically. A high intake of foodstuffs to replace spent calories after a success, is a common act to follow the transformation. Hence, she surmised that their suspect could have not gone far from the area.
