Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

No rules in 5e. Closest you can get is an auto hit and crit damage.
Ed slinks to the shadows and moves quietly and carefully, having spotted a lone fanged lizard. The reptile in question was currently basking in a small ray of sunlight on a flat rock without a care in the world. 'Perfect...' Ed thought to himself and begins to skulk to a better flanking position; like an apex predator would...but from a smaller, less frightening, weaker, and significantly more timid apex predator. Though his intended target was completely unaware of his presence, the young dire rat was still cautious on his approach. It is a well known fact to Ed that overconfidence may be a slow killer, but one with a near-perfect record. Once in position, he launches his preemptive strike. He lunged at the resting lizard, teeth and claws bared. His teeth were to set upon the lizard's neck while his fore claws were at the ready to help his jaws rip and tear the the lizard's throat off of in a matter of seconds. His already superior physical strength combined with the [Stronger I] skill made sure that the sudden ambush, weather or not it killed Ed's intended target, would be a decisive attack. Though, Ed could only hope that the taste of blood would not activate his berserk state. He wanted to kill his prey quickly, not make an excessive mess and splatter it's blood and guts around him in a five foot radius.

First optional boss fight then. Tally ho!
Ed shook off the water off his fur, the anger within him seethed and rose. Blood rushed through his veins, delivering adrenaline throughout his body. His vision blurred significantly as he snarled at the water's surface. Majority of his killing intent aimed at...fish. The young dire rat could still control his body as well as his thought processes and ability to reason were still clear; unhindered by the rage and blood lust...but he could already feel the madness gnawing at it.'Stop, this is stupid! I'm literally angry at goddamn fish!'

Skill Deactivated: Rabid Fit I
System: Ed

And just like that, his everlasting and burning hate for the fish disappeared just as quickly as it appeared. 'Christ...that skill is dangerous. It activates even if I don't even realize it." He lets out a sigh. If he could get a rough estimate on how long he could keep control and stay sane while the skill was active, it would be roughly a minute; maybe even a little less. If he wanted to keep himself and the rest of his allies safe, he needed to master the skill as soon as he could. He then sees Asteria snag a fish and proceed to consume the fish. "Morning to you too, Asteria. Also, in my defense that fish seemed a thousand times bigger than it actually was...hmm, you're bigger than I remember." Ed told Asteria absentmindedly before realizing that the statement sounded rude. Most especially rude considering that Asteria was a lady, albeit a reincarnated lady turned into dire rat via magical means that he barely understands, but a lady none the less. His parents taught him better, shame on him. "Not that being big is a demerit. Quite the contrary even! Some would even admit its something to be attracted about a person." Yet again another statement that could lead to another misunderstanding. "Not that I find that feature about you attractive. And another. "Not that you aren't attractive, quite the contrary actually..." Ed seems to have a knack for implying things as well as making things weird. "I think that I'm rambling now and I'd be better if I shut up. I'm going to walk to the far side of the pond now." Ed then goes to the farthest side of the pod from where Danny and Asteria were and proceeds to dunk his head into the cold waters, screaming his heart out. Embarrassed to the point that death wouldn't be such a bad thing to happen now.

After a few short moments of self pity and yearning for the embrace of death, the young dire rat finally regains most of his senses but retains the great embarrassment he holds within himself. "Ok. That's enough acting like a baby." He winces as he remembers the embarrassing encounter only moments ago." OhmygodIwannadie." He lets the thought perish before standing up and dipping his muzzle into the water and finally takes in the cool re-hydrating liquid his body oh so desired. After having his fill of water, he considered returning to where Rattleskull's body laid. The body seemed to be such an easy meal for Ed but he hesitated; Rattleskull was simply too humanoid for Ed to even consider eating. No matter what physical form he had, the heart of a man still beat inside of him and it refused to eat something so closely resembling the human form. "I suppose hunting would be a great alternative." Ed lets out a sigh and limbers up for the hunt. Satisfied with his pre-hunt exercise, he goes to a low position and lets [Muffle I] do its job in making his time sneaking more easy while he used his [Beast Sense I] to sniff out and listen for creatures he could take down.

Emil nodded in understanding to the woman's words. No matter what she did, it seemed that she could never forget the past...but the fact that she still had her family, her one reason to keep on living, made Emil believe that there was still a chance. A chance that maybe one day she just wakes up in the morning and realizes that she can finally stop. That fact made the young man feel a pang of envy. He didn't have a family to call his own, nobody to go back to. The only thing that drives him to wake up and do what he does, day in day out, is his conditioned need to punish evil; wherever it may be.

The closest thing he had to a family ever since that godforsaken day was Felix, and that wasn't saying much about the man. Distant, cold, and calculating. Those would be the three words to best describe the man. He may have been kind enough to save Emil from death's door and train him everything he knew for absolutely nothing, but it was all a means to an end. Felix knew that he was not a young man anymore and his body was not as strong, agile, and healthy as it used to be. He knew that one day, he would be killed and that would be the end to his personal crusade. Emil was the answer to his predicament, having the potential and will to become someone that can take the mantle, maybe even become greater than he could ever be.

Emil chose to not have a happy ending to his story, Felix made sure he never will.

"After nearly dying twice in the same day, food and some liquor sounds amazing." He replied to her and returned her smile with a smile of his own. The smell of the stew and the sight of the amber liquid was enticing enough, but with the announcement that Finn made that he had more whiskey in stock, the whole meal had improved a hundred times over. Emil then does an overly exaggerated bow and places a hand on his chest and uses one to direct Monika to the general area of the table, as if he was an under-dressed and overly armed concierge, and speaks with an awfully executed french accent. "After you, Madame Weiss. The table and your meal awaits this way..." Emil, unable to keep the ridiculous act any longer, lets out a snort and a short fit of giggles before standing upright again. "Christ above that was silly...none the less, lead the way."

The young man tucked his walking stick into his pack and drew forth a torch and a tinder stick from the bundle given to him. Before the darkness engulfed the village, he saw a familiar figure. A red archer. 'Lady Atisha? What in the nine hells is she doing here?' He thought to himself while filling his pockets with ten stones fitting for slinging before climbing up a 15-foot building and igniting his torch. The dark was an an advantage to the goblins against Ethan. Their eyes were used to the low light conditions of their homes and they had little issue seeing in complete darkness. Though things will change soon and Ethan would level the playing field, no matter how small the change would be. Ethan would take that advantage away from them. With a single tinder stick struck, a blazing star, a beacon of hope is born. The torch produced light in the inky darkness. The light bathed his opponents in it's radiance.

In a moment of clarity amidst the storm, he slung another stone that found purchase in striking a goblin square in it's throat. That singular and powerful strike would definitely gain the attention of the brutes away from the Red Chaser. The man wasn't close to considering leaving the village; not by a long shot. Not while those remaining goblins drew breath...even less so knowing that the red archer that had saved him twice now was also present in the village.

I hope a 1 dont mean anything bad Lucius.

His body seized up at the sight of the goblins. With such a large group of them in the town, he could only expect the worst had happened to the townsfolk. His heart raced. He was all alone faced against at least five goblins, probably many more scattered about in the silent town. This whole day had been terrible, likely the worst day of his life. Now, as if a cruel god enjoyed his suffering and plight, he was facing certain death at the hands of these psychotic midgets as one of them had seemed to smell him out. The situation seemed hopeless. The way back was littered with undead, the path forward was with goblins; anywhere else, the untamed nature was king. The stage was set. Ready for his fall into despair and inevitable demise. Such is a common occurrence in the wild and vast frontier lands...

'Horseshit...'

The look of utter defeat on his face is washed away as determination filled his very being. Many would have fallen in the face of this adversity, but not Ethan. Not today. The world pushed him too hard, and now it was his turn to push back. Calmly, he undid the strap of his satchel and placed the small bag into his durable pack. It may have not been the best material for the task, but it would suffice in this situation. He then tears a piece of cloth off his sleeve, and creates the cradle for the stone to rest in. Before, finally, taking a stone as big as a gold coin and twirls it around, spinning it faster and faster.

He spots his target, the one sniffing the air. Blood still oozing out of the fresh cuts on it's body. Letting loose the sling, the young man sends the stone speeding at the head of the goblin. Once the attack hits, Ethan then takes to the shadows of the buildings and rubs soil on his person to mask his scent as well as camouflage him to better blend in with the surroundings.

The sudden change of environment caused Ed's eyes to snap open. He was rather shocked to realize he had covered that far a distance in a metaphorical flash, but he never expected to actually be sent careening into the natural body of water in the cave. Though whats done is done, he had to make the best out of his situation. He dog-rat-y paddled like a damned pro. Instincts on how to swim and effectively use his tail and memories of his dad teaching him the basics before tossing him in the deeper end of the pool merged together and translated into synchronized paddles and precise tail ruddery. Breaching the surface he was greeted by the friendly wisp and fellow reincarnator named Danny. Paddling closer to the wisp, he replied to his greeting. "Yep! Morning to you as well DanNYOHMYGODSOMETHINGJUSTFUCKINGTOUCHEDMYTAIL!" Ed then began to panic as a larger fish got brave enough to give Ed's tail tip a gentle nib. Floundering fervently forward through the water, the fearful Ed failed to recognize that the perpetrator of the scare was an equally scared fish and not a bloodthirsty water dwelling monster looking for an Ed sized treat.

None the less, his fear and adrenaline addled mind unconsciously activated [Rabid Fit I] to strengthen and hasten his desperate paddling to the shore. Accompanied by pouring every ounce of strength his body could offer with [Stronger I], the young dire rat's unexpected morning swim would be ending shortly.
