Are we fookin ded?

don't worry Takaru got this
So if the average is about 4k, just comparing to our population, our average would pay 36,000 a year.

I think I'm done with this conversation now that I said what I wanted to say, but I just want to know what kinda math this is. Why would it be times nine? Assuming everyone pays all their taxes, it would be the exact same, because each new person has to pay 4k, wouldn't it? Also the family one sounds bad, and for a single-income household sure (again, children are leaches) but if you look at the comments of people on that article, a lot of them say they pay a third of what they did/would in America. That's better to me.

I'm not trying to say Canada's healthcare is a perfect example everyone should copy, because it's very far from that, but it's financially better for taxpayers than America's system by a large margin.
I just think most people WANT socialized medicine because they here the word "Free Healthcare" and go OH BOY FREE STUFF! And it's not free...someone is paying for it.

Yeah, but it doesn't actually cost much to have "free" health care for everyone compared to America's bills. It's payed indirectly from taxes (EI, income taxes, etc.), but that means it's also scaled by income. A poor family, who wouldn't normally afford health care, pay low taxes but get "free" health care. A rich family pays high taxes, even though they could just go private and get their own health care, but still gets the same health care. I think the stat came out to be an average of $4k a year for an adult? Families with dependants obviously pay more because children are just leaches but I digress.

also imo that blog looks pretty biased, but it's not wrong in some places

I suppose since it was so short, my opinion wasn't clear. So I'll just say, I never thought Canadians secretly wanted to have privatization. Though I know a lot of them do not like how their care system is being run currently, just by many that I speak with.

I again think most people are fine with the system itself, but if you mean they don't like how said system is managed, then yes, I agree. The problem comes mostly with how understaffed it is. Specialists and appointments take fooorreeevvveerrrr. I can't imagine just being able to walk into a doctor's office and getting a check-up. Obviously the ER isn't like that, but the concept of going to the doctor when your minorly sick is unthinkable. You'd get over your illness by the time you get in. Do Americans actually go to the doctor when they have a cold or the flu? Can you actually get a doctor's note for school?
@Vilageidiotx Hmm...I wrote something...and it disappeared. (So best I got.) -.-
1. Not really
2. From 2007, and those stats offered really, really...don't mean anything.

As a Canadian, 1 is actually a pretty popular opinion. If you go into the praries where it's ultra conservative, you'll find parties trying to advocate privitization, but that's again only the conservative conservatives. Pretty much nobody wants privitization here. 2 is also by far the biggest complaint. The wait times are really killer, especially outside of more doctor-y areas yet people keep wanting to lower taxes like the government can print out all the money they need. But I'd take wait times over crippling debt if I need medical care any day. I'm not sure about the exact stats, but the general point is very much true. Not much has changed here since 2007 imo.

hey guys this is my new oc, to fill the Justice arcana. Channettelle Azura is a third year student in Warakuma High, and she's top of her class. She shy and out-going, and she likes to hang out at the mall and she's well-liked by everyone. She's a little clumsy though. her persona is Angel from shin megami tensai 4, and her persona knows agi, hama, and garula. She's also Rui's boyfriend.

The sheer force of their attack brought the shadow to its knees, and as it fell, Rui was ready. He rushed in, Askr appearing beside him, and deliver a decisive hit as the rest of the team threw their strongest attacks at it. With a thump, it evaporated into a black mist when it hit the ground, and that was all she wrote.

Sato took a moment to catch his breath before following the rest of the team down to another set of doors. Rui, ever the leader, threw them open, and they were greeted with a hallway. Another hallway branched off to the left, which Ayano informed them was the passage to the other dungeon, if they ever needed to go there from where they were. Sato wondered if it meant anything, like if the victims were connected in any way. There was, of course, no way of truly telling, especially since they didn't even know who the victims are.

Through another set of doors was what seemed to be a dead end labelled the "Warden's Office", but upon noticing the two teens standing in the center of the room, Sato knew it was quite the opposite. Sato didn't recognize the boy, but he assumed at least one of the others did. As expected, the victim and his shadow were arguing in the same way everyone else did, including Sato himself. He listened to the conversation, barely picking together the boy's past. Sato's expression grew grave as he quickly realized that the boy's mental state was deteriorating fast, and that meant...

When it transformed, the familiar suffocating feeling of a person's shadow filled the room. The back wall blew apart, and as did the roof, dust flying. From behind the shadow came a colossal version of the shadow, who remained standing in front of it. Similar to their last battle, chains were attached to the giant's wrists, but they didn't seem to constrict it nearly as much as it had the last shadow. Almost immediately, the gigantic shadow's fist came crashing into the ground, Sato just barely getting out of the way with a dive. A crater was left behind as the fist slowly lifted, visual proof of the sheer power behind the colossus's attacks.

Rui commanded Ayano to start scanning the smaller shadow, and ordered the rest of the team to fan out. With the team split up, it'd be unlikely for it to target more than one person at a time, which was good for obvious reasons. Sato stood to the right of Rui and opposite of Alexai, meaning he was the furthest away from Kotori. Before he could contemplate the dynamics of that team positioning, Ayano's voice started explaining what she found out about the shadow. Predictably, the smaller one is about as strong as any of them, while the larger one was practically invincible. If the only thing protecting the smaller one was its puppet, then they just needed to distract it so someone could get in and do some real damage.

It was probably going to be much more easily said than done. Sato summoned Chronos behind him, watching the shadow carefully, occasionally glancing at Rui. Their best bet to stun it was to concentrate their attacks all at once, like they had done with the last shadow. Sato was ready to sling a spell as soon as needed.
fuck!!!!!! why did haru have to actually post today!!!!!!! now i gotta post too :(((
Or weebos with hearts

The battle dragged on, with the party dodging with relative ease and someone occasionally making futile attempts at attacking it. It wasn't until Ayano finished her anaylsis of the shadow did they finally have some kind of plan. Now that Sato looked at the shadow more closely, he noticed the key sticking in its cuffs. Rui had the greaty idea of just kind of hitting it.

It worked through, because, through Rui's barrage of attacks boosted with the swiftness of a Sukukaja, the key seized up the shackles. The shadow fell to the ground, a tremendous crash, as it was too restricted by the now tightened shackles. As Rui ordered them to attack ASAP, Sato took note of the key's fidgetting. If they hadn't locked it early enough, could the shadow have opened it further? That would of been scary to say the least, considering the amount of power they felt behind its attacks.

Regardless, it was their time to strike now. Sato summoned his persona, swinging his arm in an overly dramatic fashion. "Chronos!" He breathed, and a violent gust of wind struck the shadow. In combination with the flash of lightning, their assault took that breath away.
