She almost always has her medium-length brown hair tied back into a tail, accentuating her smooth facial structure. Her pale complexion isn't really helped by being stuck in a MAS for much of combat, but once she hops out one would notice her tall figure and confident mannerisms.

If people had one sentence to describe Natalie, many would say something along the lines of "she has a stick up her ass". This is, of course, blatantly untrue in both ways, but it's hardly an unfounded accusation. But, in the end, there's only one consensus: Natalie is one stubborn asshole, holding onto her views and morals pretty much to the grave. They're hardly altruistic or heroic, but they are hers and that's apparently all that matters to Natalie. Simply put, the only reason she hasn't gotten kicked out from the military or something is because said views happen to align with the military's somewhat. As one higher-up muttered under his breath, "fuckin' pigheaded." But with that said, while she still fights with others quite a bit, Natalie knows when to do what has to be done. How far said actions can conflict with her interests, that's hard to say, but it's sure damn easy for that last step to be the one that crosses the line.
While it may shock those used to her general likeness to a sour grape, Natalie is actually a fairly personable gal once she lets her hair down, not afraid to crack a joke or two while kicking back. The issue is getting her to relax in the first place, let alone around others. She's a very work-orientated person, generally serious about whatever she does. It goes without saying that Natalie's not in the military like some people might be; she didn't have to be forced, nor was she in it for the job... it's personal.
... As cool as that would sound, it's a bit of an exaggeration. So, one might ask, "what does Natalie care so much about this whole military thing?" Good question. She believes not in the greatness of UEE (in fact, she's quite critical of it) but in the inferiority of the Coalition. In the situation of the human race's expansion out into the universe, it's crucial to Natalie that people treat humans as a collective. While there are hardly any big alien threats, nobody can say that will stay the case, and when that case changes, everyone will be better off if humans are standing together instead of throwing rocks at each other. The universe is a big, big place, and humans are very small things after all.

Earth-born, Natalie was what you could call sheltered in her childhood home in Germany. A regular home-life in an arguably regular place, just what Nat's mother wanted for her. What her mother didn't want particularly want was the transient nature of having a husband in the military, but the heart had a way of strong-arming things. To some, hearing that tidbit may click a few gears into place, but that's beside the point. This threw a whole wrench into the "normal" plan, even if there were plenty of other kids with military parents. With a father that was literally "out of this world", Natalie was very much shooting for the stars as a youth. After all, what else was she to do when the only time she could see where her father worked was dusk until after midnight? Even then, it was merely a speck in the night-sky, Mars shining dimly against a black canvas. More gears right there. She would never admit it of course, but she dreamed of joining the military as a child simply to see her dad more.
While those childish reasons changed, the years passed without that dream fading. Her mother tried to keep her living a "normal" life, but Nat quickly found herself right in training as soon as she was of age. She thought she'd known what to expect, and she'd even done some "training" (hint: it wasn't very productive) on her before, but the decision to go into MAS training was a ticket onto a bumpy road. Shockingly, it was a little more than she expected. All was taken in stride however, as Natalie was dedicated to getting through anything they threw at her. In fact, that dedication was her biggest ally it turns out. She wasn't the fastest runner, the heaviest lifter, the sharpest shooter, or the best at anything. She had her strengths, sure. Practically the best at CQC training or stomaching rations in her troop, but what really let her excel was her sheer determination. No matter how bad she was, Nat earnestly focused her efforts to improve in every area she lacked in. Before long she was well above average in her performance, packing muscles she didn't have at the start and mind honed sharper than ever before. She was easily top of her class, constantly struggling for the right of being first with several other particularly skilled individuals.
That was how they graduated, in the end. They were all very good soldiers in their own rights, but there could only be one #1. It wasn't Natalie, but #4 was close enough for all intents and purposes, seeing as she was in a rather high percentile in the first place. Incidentally, this is where her callsign originated from; the three guys that scored higher than her decided it would be funny to call her "Jack", seeing as she was the fourth highest. Scores and tests didn't feel like they mattered too much after that though, as Nat was thrust into duty like many others. The Coalition was on the rise and so the UEE had to be on its toes. These toes being mass-produced MAS's filled with fresh soldiers raring to go. Natalie landed in a PTX-051 Sentry due to her superior's recommendations and her apparent aptitude for the model.
Being the dogs they were, Natalie and her recently graduated troop-mates were thrown where they were needed, and that happened to be the front-lines. It was, putting it easily, a bit of a shock when she was put in her first real combat situation. No amount of simulations and strategies prepared her for the tension, the stress, the fear, the reality of having someone shoot real bullets and firing live missiles at you. She almost died the very first encounter they had, in fact. If it weren't for whoever was beside her at the time and their quick defensive maneuvers, she would've been totaled by a volley of fire she completely choked in front of. It was her fault she was in that situation in the first place, seeing as she failed to commit to the kill. The sheer rookie-ness of what she failed to do disgusted her in one way, and another part of her was disgusted that she was disgusted that she couldn't take a life. It was frustrating, for lack of a better word. This kind of thing happened many times at the start, to the concern of many. People constantly had to have her back whenever she stumbled in the worst sense of the word, but fortunately she always jumped back up when she got that push she needed.
Even with her shaky (putting it lightly, eh?) start to her military career, Natalie did not give up. She kept training and fighting to the best of her ability, and once the experience started piling up, Nat started finding her footing. They stopped being people and started being enemies. A spotlight was already cast on her for her concerning performances in the past, so Natalie made the most of it by giving her absolute best she could. Among her peers, she was known as one of the best soldiers, working off what the others did perfectly. It was surprisingly, but she was an ace at being a team player on the battlefield. In fact, due to her excellence, Nat was awarded the right to pilot a customized MAS specialized for her.
However, reality checks have a habit of appearing whenever things start looking up. After several years of service, Natalie found herself stationed in the fortress world Cerol at arguably one of the worst times possible. Despite their best efforts, they were overwhelmed by the Coalition's assaults, and the planet fell to their forces. While Nat's squad had managed to escape with relatively minor amounts of casualties and injuries, the few faces that were missing ripped a part of her out. Sure, she'd seen death of their own forces plenty before, but Nat just rationalized it by saying they were necessary sacrifices. A loss like that meant those deaths were, effectively, all for naught. Though, they had not yet reached safety, so the count they kept was hardly locked where it was...

An upgraded version of a Sentinel MAS, the Offiziersmesser (named after the Swiss Army Knife) is a general assault-focused MAS with the goal of being a versatile and useful player in any battle. This design was chosen for Natalie so she could play of the others as efficiently as possible in a variety of situations with her fellow squad members. Notable improvements include an overclocked reactor, a hybrid saber that allows for more liberal usage of CQC, and an improved targeting system for high-action scenarios.

The power cores of the MAS are essentially forced into going over-time to increase the power output of the MAS, though it requires less strain on the MAS to allow for it.

A pumped-up machine gun largely retained from the original Sentinel model. Firing armor piercing rounds, the M291A uses the same three modes of fire (semi-automatic, 5-round burst, and fully automatic) with a 750RPM and a slightly improved magazine size of 600. Don't fix what isn't broken, right?

A set of missile launchers installed in the the upper legs of the MAS. 6 Claymore missiles can be launched from each leg.

Anti-personnel/anti-missile defense machine guns are mounted onto the MAS's head, with a magazine of 200 rounds.

A powerful alloy sword with an added plasma edge to the blade, allowing it to have increased utility as an offensive force. Ditching the power capacitors, the saber can be used much more often, allowing the MAS the ability to use the saber's length-changing capability to its full potential. Stored on the right shoulder of the MAS.

A standard Class 3 shield generator, allowing for the MAS to stand up to limited amounts of sustained fire and a hit from a plasma weapon.

An improved AI on the MAS's targeting system allows the MAS to target up to 40 targets (missiles and other MAS's), as well as acquire multiple targets simultaneously.
