Glodin followed Evelyn into the throne room for the meeting with the King. He held his tongue for the entirety of the talk that ensued, until they were told they could leave. Glodin stepped forward and bowed low, his beard touching the floor."Your Majesty, please accept my condolences on behalf of my brethren under the mountain. Prince Aundair was a great man, My Lord. We are here for you, Your Majesty."
The dwarf knew it was informal to speak when not spoken to when in the company of royalty, but royalty or not, he could not stand by and see a father in such a state. He rose from his bow with pain in his eyes before following his captain out of the throne room. He diverged from the captain's trail when a servent came to him telling him his room was ready. He followed the young man to the room and set his things down on the table and asked the young servant for a quill and paper to write with. Once he had it he wrote a quick note-
Knight Captain Sunderland,
I have been meaning to give this to you since we returned from the kest hive in thanks for saving us from a gruesome death by the claws of those beasts. The rune will allow you to use your magic to charge the weapon with whichever element you wish.

He rolled up the parchment before attaching it to the hilt of the blade and handing it over to the servent. "Take this to Knight Captain Sunderland's chambers. Im going get a strong drink and try to forget my sorrows." He told the young man before leaving to find some ale.
