“You showed me a part of your world, so now I want to show you a part of mine. This is a collection of stories I remember being told as a youngling. Would you like me to read one to you?”
Jono raises her eyebrows then she grins. “To see Tanner? I thought you didn’t like him.” She shrugs. “Sure, but later. I just saw him and I think I’m annoying him with how often we see each other.”
Jono grins. “I agree but Tanner seems to exist to be the bane of the lives of others. In fact when he started being tolerable towards me it was quite unnerving.”
Margaret frowns when familiar music begins to play and she wills herself to stay conscious. However, the spell eventually wins over and she passes out. Once she’s conscious, she finds herself wanting to stay. Then she ponders why, and soon she’s in an internal battle with the spell. She groans and clutches her head because of the confusion.
