is this rp still going or has this turned into people just talking about how they're doing in the game?

I honestly don't know - I'm still waiting for @Andromedai or anyone else to post or at least fill us in whats going on =/
Rank 4 1/2 in Iron Banner and still no awesome medieval knight helmet for my Titan ;~;

Then again I heard better loot drops at higher rankings =~=
I'm going to go ahead and begin setting up my next post, assuming everyone is waiting on Zarubin to take point again.
Awesome.

I'm now finding it amusing that we can now solo Prison of Elders (32 and 34) though I think Skolas is going to be a challenge without a fireteam.

I really want to get the Touch of Malice but I need to get into a legit raid group though ;~;
This is what I got so far. The other half will probably be breaching the facility.

Simon maintained his pace with Spectre, as the Hunter lead the way towards where the rest of the fireteam was located at. Both Guardians ran through the building snow and icy winds as the inevitable blizzard was upon them, undeterred by the natural elements while they raced to their objective. But even the wisest warrior of the Light knew better than to fight in a raging snow storm and that fact alone probably kept them going aside from chance of coming across any hostiles.

"Looks like everyone got scattered across the plateau; I can't pinpoint anybody and this weather is certainly not helping." Cipher complained while continuing to try and make contact with anyone nearby.

That was worrisome. If they couldn't detect any of their fireteam members before the blizzard hits, they would practically be on their own and stranded from any friendly support. Simon began to plan ahead if in fact they needed to take shelter to outlast the storm.

"Located any beacons by any chance, Spectre?" Simon called out to the Hunter, "If we can't rendezvous with Andromedai or anyone before this storm scrambles all communications, we'll have to find some other way in get in contact with them. May have to get a hold of the Tower if need be."

Just as Spectre gave his input, two loud sudden bangs from a discharging sniper rifle could be heard echoing close by, over by a large rock formation they had been sprinting around. Cipher was quick to localize the origin of the gunfire and marked the point of detection on his HUD. In quick response, Simon jerked his head to the right, facing the direction of the source of the shots.

"Spectre, Did you hear that? Three o'clock over that small cliff face!" alerted Simon as he drew his auto rifle from his magnetized back panel.

Using his armor's jump jets, he boosted over slanted cliff, using any natural steps as leverage as he continued his ascent. Upon reaching the top, Simon could clearly identify the crashed shuttle, now looking nothing more than smoldering clump of metal. Unfortunate as it was to lose such a finely built craft, the two Guardians had more pressing concerns to worry about. Overlooking the wreckage, Simon could then identify Andromedai holstering her rifle and Kala, both tugging the downed body of Aiden-12 into cover. Scanning the area, the Titan could not make out any other signs of hostile opposition.

"Guardian down. Let's get over there to provide backup." as he began to slide down the other side of the cliff face. He was unsure if Spectre had heard him but is motion sensor confirmed that the Hunter was moving with them.

Apparently everyone else who had already been on their way or were lured by Andromedai's gunfire had arrived, all accounted for too except for their pilot whom was not among them as Spectre queried. However no reply back had been given, possible in part due to Andromedai's concern with the rapidly approaching storm as she ordered everyone still able to fight to converge on the nearby military complex. Upon learning of facility's location, it almost seemed more unfortunate that there they were shot down so close by.

Given the amount of time Simon and Spectre had be traversing the snowy landscape, trotting as a team over the the complex didn't take much long until they reached the perimeter. Andromedai observed the military facility possibly for a minute, looking for any signs of any hostile activity before ordering the fireteam move onto the complex itself once more. Instead of taking the main entrance, it was tactically more efficient as their leader pointed out to breach the rear entrance; Simone couldn't happily agree more as he stowed his auto rife away for his Invective auto-fire shotgun.

Once the door had been kicked down off from it's rusty hinges, everyone surged through the first floor, checking all rooms and corridors, undeterred with with the messiness of years of without human touch to the place. As was displayed from the outside, there were no hostiles to be identified here. However, there were still several more floors to clear out as Andromedai pointed out and going by the fact how loud they were getting in, anyone who was inside would have been alerted right away. Veruna, Zeruel's Ghost, spoke up for him in taking the lead in the next breach into the second floor. Likewise, Simon and his other teammates formed up on him.

Post is up, may tweak a thing here and there - hopefully its enough to work with.

EDIT: Put an extra bit in if it helps anyone.
"Copy that, boss." Cayne replied as he stepped into the derelict shuttle bay with Pathfinder close behind. With his first step onto the abandoned vessel, he quickly came to the realization that there was no sense of weightlessness and his boots were not automatically magnetizing, "Huh...Artificial gravity is still online..."

With each step he took, he could almost hear the hard metal surface creak and echo through his body suit. It was clear this ship was rotting away due to absolutely no maintenance either by a mortal crewman or an automated service droid. However, there was still plenty of reserve power given the dim and flickering lights. Just what had happened here? Given a fly by from the outside, the vessel seemed clearly dated but showed no signs of external damage. Cayne surmised a system failure may have been the result of its abandonment; unfortunately there was little to go off of.

Scanning the area, it appeared the shuttle bay was roughly fifty meters wide, divided into detailed sectors as if the facility supported a compliment of small spacecraft. Looking up, Cayne could further identify the maintenance catwalks above comprised of retracted mechanical arms and cranes that appeared responsible in servicing the craft. Interestingly however, the bay was void of any other ships not counting the dropship they arrived in; Cayne pondered further what that could have meant.

"Doesn't look like life support is active..." he commented, noting the extremely poor environmental survey on his HUD as he pushed ahead through the minor haze of dust particles, utilizing the newly enhanced sensors on his helmet to light up the shadowed sections in of the facility in his visual feed so he and everyone could navigate forward confidently, "...What ship has artificial gravity mostly functional and not life support?"

While scouting and having PathFinder map out the shuttle bay further, Cayne eventually reached a raised platform at the other side of the area, supported by structural beams and a rising flight of wide steps. Having his sensors make sense of the structure, he could confirm an open spaced control center overlooking the hanger was built in with the platform. From where he was standing, he could see a strong static light source emanating from the view ports of the tower.

"Think I got an active device up there. Moving in to investigate..."

Minding the amount of weight placed on each footstep, he walked upwards cautiously with his rifle trained ahead, scope flipped-down and red-dot sights readied given the range before him. Making up to the floor of the platform, Cayne could see the light source had been originating from a still live terminal, it's screen was fluctuating but its UI appeared to be mostly intact. At this point, he really began to think if the ship's entire system had really gone hay-wired since some of the functions that were active defied operational protocol. Granted, he was no ship expert himself and should obviously leave that debate to Maxwel but the building evidence was becoming more clear.

"This computer seems partially functional..." Cayne said aloud as he reached out to attempt to manipulate it but remembered what the Santerian had advised before hand. He then pulled out the W.H.D. and readied it, "Yamash, think this is something you can look at?"

While waiting for a reply, Cayne was then advised by an attention grabbing ping by Pathfinder. He turned to face his drone and came upon a small corridor with a slightly opened automated slide door at the very end, a few lit nodes on the door hinted the seal release was at least receiving power. Pathfinder had lit up the find with it's search lights and from what Cayne could see, the narrow gap vaguely detailed a larger hallway on the other side.

"I think I found our way further into the ship but the doors seemed stuck in place. Looks like we could pry them open though this door is still getting power however." he reported.
So the Sleeper Simulant quests dropped for a lot of people this week and finally got the weapon myself...This thing is scary. Who else recently obtained it?
"Foul Play?" Cayne openly guessed in direct regards to Cadence’s inquiry.

It was unlikely that anyone in the Republic's hierarchy or the council had any reason to sabotage the mission or jeopardize the S.E.U. Lightyear or her crew. Granted, the new local alliance was basically a commonwealth of outside explorers and refugees from the ever present war that has engulfed the quadrant. Dissent was of course a common factor that many expressed due to the conflicts and the hardships that followed but there was little outcry put against the Ostara Republic operations; not counting however the alien governments that stood against the Republic.

Soon enough, Maxwel and Yamesh had arrived to the shuttle bay as well. The pilot clearly appeared troubled but did not voice his concerns and remained silent as he checked his gear. Cayne could only surmise that Maxwel may still be thinking about the current events and the voice both of them had heard. Admittedly, the circumstances were rather unnerving to say the least, especially when they were going to board a horror-set of a ship and prevent it from colliding with the S.E.U. Lightyear before their short time frame runs out.

Yamesh however seemed much more lively if not a tad cranky. The Santerian scientist obviously had a noticeable case of a superiority complex over the lesser technologically adept species but Cayne tried not to pry or dissect that fact any further than he needed to. Yamesh openly explained the enhancements made to the teams helmet's and heads up display, describing the new sensor and visor functions, especially some sort of visual feed tracker that anyone could tap into within the squad's interconnected network and see what the other sees. Cayne of course had to begrudgingly agree with the Santerian's comment that Pathfinder lacked the adaptable software since the drone's similar function was only between it and it's human operator. Upon catching the ship underhandedly tossed by Yamesh that would grant the recon drone more adaptive perk, Cayne raised the chip into the air so Pathfinder could install it.

[Click, click. Dweep, Beep]

"I wouldn't think about it too much..." Cayne sighed as Pathfinder took and installed the new software.

Yamesh then showcased another device that allowed the Santerian to remotely access any terminal upon the its initial connection. It seemed handy going by the device's design and conceptual purpose but he couldn't help but think the Santerian simply didn't trust any of them to meddle around with any particular piece of tech. The sentiment couldn't be more true when Yamesh revealed a prototype laser rifle as his personal armament. The weapon as described appeared very reliable and self-sufficient...Until he mentioned the possibility of the rifle prematurely detonating. Suddenly Cayne felt confident that Yamesh was the one handling the unstable weapon as he took and received one of the wireless hacking devices, including it with his other tools and gadgets.

I have my next post almost ready but I am currently at work so expect it to be up later tonight.
