ImagineTheStarsHunter was smart, he knew what to do when in many situations. Though some may mistake him being smart for cowardice, which may also be true but he was the one alive, and he was the one with a twelve gauge in his hands. Though he had to admit his choices in guns were limited, though he was grateful he had them. The one in his hands was his dad's old pump action, even though a pump action was nice it only took smaller twelve gauge, meaning it was a lot more limited in terms of ammo and stopping power. And it wasn't all that accurate either. But the ammo capacity and the stopping power it had were his best options for looting.
Today Hunter needed ammo, he couldn't shoot guns with out it. Even though he had a decent amount in his truck he had a few problems with it. One, many rounds were too big for the pump action, two, Many were training loads. Training loads sucked. No real stopping power, no real range, nothing of value other then they are really damn cheap. It seems everyone else thought the same thing.
As Hunter went through the firearm's section of the sporting goods store the big thing he noticed is that most if not all the guns were gone, all the decent ammo was gone, and much of everything else was useless to him. Though he did find some ammunition he could use. He packed that into a duffel bag. He soon stood up when he heard a rustling. He knew it was more then likely one of two things, people, or the dead. Either way he wasn't ready to deal with that. He threw the bag over his shoulder and grabbed the shotgun with one hand as he ran to the front door.
