@Shorticus A question. How much control do we have over NPCs like this? I wasn't planning on making them do or say anything, but I was thinking about the gallocman occasionally coming to Maire for certain herbal remedies. Is that kosher or a no no?
IV. This is important—Your Nation must always be next to another Player Nation. And by that, I mean that during nation creation, you should not start at far-flung geographic regions; one nation in Scandinavia and another in North Africa.
Would it be better, I wonder, if we just launched ourselves into it? Did away with the nation summaries, floated a few character concepts, and then went nuts? I get the impression that peeps might be getting bogged down by all the boring stuff.

in terms of actions in a turn I was planning on putting a fortification around my territory to defend against pillaging and raids.
