I was considering a plot wherein your characters' nations went to war for the first time against each other. It's possible their respective expansion has just so far not resulted in either nation meeting until the beginning of the RP.

That works perfectly for me. I'll let you decide what the state of our current relations is, but Ardonia is no longer an empire or a binge-conquering land.

But you could be especially Celtic if you wanted. If Arcturia is Rome, then Ardonia is Romano-British, and your nation can be Romano-British or whatever it is you want.

Would anybody like to have been the Rome to my Britain in our setting's antiquity, as a result, propelled me into the feudal age over a few centuries? My new 'theme' borrows from Celtic/Welsh history and culture.
Nowadays, I'll have been all caught up technologically, with some institutional and societal feel from your 'Rome.'

I'm #6, for reference.

And it's fine! You BORROWED from Dark Souls, but it's your own creation that you've made. I mean, I was inspired by Arthurian literature and by Hobbits. There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from a source if you make something unique with it.

I'm back from my drives today and am writing for this again. I got side-tracked with some duties in other threads (approving/disapproving concepts, updating a map, that sort of thing).

B!tchfest: a healthy release for our non-roleplay annoyances.
