Want to do a slice of life romance, in the MHA universe. SoL is good with an interesting backdrop.

Bio

I don't know how to make this all stylish yet. I'll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time ahem:

Hello! I am currently writing a script for a fantasy story I plan on animating (Using the program Poser) Rping really helps get my creative muscles flexing and I'm going to be incorporating some character ideas into the RPs I produce with other people. This could include Male or Female. I really try to challenge myself.

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of epic scale narrative, and breathing life into a story is a great passion of mine. Seriously I watch trope talk pod casts and how to write, just to make my script as effective as possible.

I am versatile. I love things with emotion, whether Romance, Grim, Adventure Thriller, or even Comedy. Above all else, I love to entertain. I hope to do so with you.

I also have a 1X1 interest check.

Great start!

Okay I have 3 things to do before we can get properly started. But perhaps youd all just rather play it by ear

1- character sheet <obvious>
2- the massive info dump that shows examples of the powers that be, the heroes, the threats, the races, and the airships
3- a discord server but that's optional.
I'm going to reply today thank you for your patience.

A long time ago, Mankind was united for a single shining moment
when they made contact with a being calling itself Father.
Father was from beyond the farthest reaches.
A being of power so vast, it broke the laws of science.
And thus we found out its first terrible truth,
Gods Exist...

Father gave gifts of knowledge of power to mankind
and for the treasured gifts mankind received, they worshiped it
They could never have known what Father really was.
And what Father had done to others before.
And thus we found out its second terrible truth,
Demons Exist...

Following from deep space came a fleet so vast, a hate so deep, and a desire so strong
that it descended on the Earth as an all consuming storm.
The Earth, shattered. Mankind, shattered. Father's gifts could not prevent this.
Instead, Father took the survivors of this children into himself, bringing them to another place.
And thus we found out its third terrible truth,
Heaven Exists...

The survivors on their broken world came to a place that was new.
A place where planets, moons, stars all floated impossibly close to each other.
Between them, typhoon winds, miasma's of gas, seas of hanging waters, and monsters from out of nightmares
Above them all, other Titanic gods flew with uncaring, nebulous purpose,
and they brought with them their own worshipers on their own worlds. They hold similar stories.
And thus learned the final terrible truth,
We are trapped with them...

Welcome to Elysia

The Place where the Gods dwell,
Where all that remains of Creation resides within on a thousand worlds,
And nothing but Darkness, Chaos and Oblivion lie beyond those worlds.

Science and magic walk hand in hand in this mystical Realm
while a hundred petty mortal empires strive for dominance over each other.

Like it or not, you are chosen to be its Defenders,
Its Heroes.
Its necessary villains.
You have been EXALTED and you will defend Elysia.

You need only find a way to fly.

The Skies await you.

Themes and Play-style

This is a Sci-Fi RP that holds elements of High Fantasy. I wanted to have a unique setting that follows aspects of Star Wars, Treasure Planet, Studio Ghibli Movies, Stellaris, Exalted Table Top Games, and numerous other sources. The theme is adventure, exploration, and danger. The Setting is designed so that a million dramas can occur, from Romance of Royals, the Swash-buckling Sky Pirates, to Military Companies meant to dispatch planet eating behemoths. Elysia is not a static or safe place. Chaos and change are ever present, almost as if the fate of the billions living within were at the whims of the gods that lord over them.

This Interest check is to not only give you the introduction to the setting and offer information about Elysia, but to see who would be interested in playing a story in this world. We wont be using systems to determine pass or fail, but it is my hope that those who join this RP will engage in collaboration and work together to discuss the most entertaining end. Everyone should have a chance to be a hero, a chance to stand out, after all that's what the Exalted are (Full Description Incoming). I'm looking for a few to start with, and if it works more will be invited. We shall see if we get there.

I picked a steam punk theme because I wanted a universe where EVERYTHING IS VIABLE. An arrow harms just as well as a gun, and a gun just as well as a lazer/ plasma/ whatever. While each type of technology is uniquely different, its aesthetic choices and themes that should be focused on rather than raw fire power. Additionally, magic is something that is ever present. It is a force in Elysia, a force that can be harassed in a hundred different ways to power artifacts that allow a million ton ships to fly, or teleport across Elysia. Those that have a way to do, use magic throughout their lives, those that do not make do with whatever science, grit, or reason they can come up with. And in all other cases, where magic fails, technology takes up the slack. While a mage and scientist have their differences in philosophy, neither can deny that magic can perform what science cant, and science offers an easier alternative when it can.

Science and magic uplift each other in Elysia. Sailships that ride the currents between planets fly next to rocket powered cruisers. It all just 'works' in Elysia.

Additionally, you do not have to play humans. There are hundreds of species in Elysia, and all of them different in form, function, or culture. Some of them are purists, others federation builders, others still are raiders. Elysia is designed to be a place lived in with discoveries around every corner. One species was once a race of mouse like creatures, whom have decided to surgically implant their brains into robot bodies. Another aquatic species wears suits filled with water, so they walk on land. Another species are merely walking piles of fungus, detecting the world only through smells. Dragons wearing power-armor. Hive-mind entities whose individuals all think as one. They live, fight, love, conquer, enslave, enlighten, entertain, and exist with eachother. I'd like to see how different races would react to each other.

A final note. Flying is going to be a major theme. Flying to other planets, flying over continents, dog fights, civilizations in massive city ships, flying is the way to travel in Elysia, and you will have that freedom too. No doubt the story will start on an airship or will quickly do so. Additionally you can have your own if you so desire, and this could be anything. Even mecha robots are fair game. But bare in mind, something that advanced is no doubt quite expensive to maintain. Again, the world has to feel lived in, and bigger ships require more crew.

There is two things that ARE NOT allowed in any form in this universe.

TIME TRAVEL! There could be powers involving time, looking into the past or trying to predict the future, but this is sketchy and unreliable at the best of times.

DEAD IS DEAD! There is no way to bring anyone back from the dead. Once they are gone, that's it. Legendary Heroes have tried, and it's considered a capital offense and the gravest of acts to try and do so.

Will add more as I make discords and put in lore notes below. For now, please show your interest and ask any questions of me.

Thank you for looking at this.

Someone peaked my interest and I'd be pretty excited in a Monster Girl RP if you are up for it. PM me and we can totally discuss. Hope we have a great story.
-Blast it, I just saw the other thread.
The SilverFox

A moments peace

Going into the cities were always difficult for the woman in white. It was filled with life but the whispers of the world die here. The ground is pressed and compacted like dead bones bleaching upon the scorched earth. There was enough dead places. Why mankind needed to cluster to them was something that she didn't understand. Probably cause they need connection, connection to the here and now than the dead and gone. It was something she wished to maybe take a moment, a single moment to partake in, but the spirits were everywhere, and they were particular task masters. She could take a moment, food and tea, maybe some wine of pressed beets and spiced mushrooms, but she could not reveal herself fully. Here she was an animal, and she wore the furs of such.

She was here on a purpose, to fulfill the duty and vow of her Magical Overlord. The king had sent for scouts, a great undertaking was at hand, and The Silverfox was to offer her aid, leading the group through the wild lands, spreading the message of the life and the glades in their wake. That was the hope in any case, there was no telling what these warlords desired in the Southern Lands. They never had the love of the land found in the North.

She wore a robe of purest white, fox tails behind her waving as if they had a mind all their own. The chill of the air was blocked by the furs around her neck, framing a cold mask of a great predator. Her spear and shield would further reciprocate that demeanor. She was like a beacon, pristine white against a sea of drab greys and browns. The people would view her with suspicion, another stranger from the wastes, bringing their insane cultures and whims with them. Others would stare in aghast awe, hearing tails of the Dancers of the Glade, who wore the face and skins of beasts, slaughtering until the color of their furs speckled with nothing save the deepest crimson. The silverfox was happy for this, it meant her people were not yet lost from memory.

As she felt the concrete and pebbles under foot, her limbs and bones felt the journey suddenly. A raw soreness chaffed her thighs, blisters threatened her feet. She needed to report to the king, but she needed to rest as well, lest she offer nothing more than a sight for foreign eyes.

The silverfox turned, ducking into an inn for a moment. Her ears scrapped against the door frame as her mask scanned the establishment.
Again she would stand out as the spectacle she was and for that reason she would immediately turn to duck into an unused table and take a stool only lit by candle light. She wofted her tails and her robes and sat as a noble lady would, keeping her shoulders back, back straight and head up.

She kept watch over the other patrons, a drunken busty woman apparently had the room, and now she had the counter. A soft shake of her mask. These city dwellers and their distractions. She wouldn't mind maybe something strong to warm her bones. The furs only did so much.
Ill have Estell probably at the Kings Palace, shes a special envoy after all.

But her costume would certainly draw attention if it was in the tavern... which might be more fun.
There Once was a Little Spider

There once was a Little Spider, happy up in the Cobwebs of The Tangle
There he helped his Daddy make his famous hats, and his Mummy make her famous socks.
The Little Spider always dreamed of being famous for his own clothes.
Maybe he'd make dresses for the good little girls, or Trousers for the good little boys,
who lived and played in the cozy little houses far far below.
The Little Spider liked to watch the children play their games of Twat the Fuzzball, or Catch the Snitcherwitch.
He would use his thread to make a line to go down but his Mummy always scolded him when he did.

"Your place is up here on the ceiling with us, you don't want to go down there and raise all a fuss."

The little Spider would ask. "We make them their bonnets, their scarves, their drawers we do mend, couldn't I just go out for a second and ask for a friend?"

His mummy would smile and pat his back "A Spinster makes clothes to protect them from chill, they won't understand-"

The Little Spider insisted "But maybe they will!"

"I'm sorry my little spider, if only you knew. How frightening it is when you have more legs than just two."

The little spider could never understand what was so wrong with just wanting to be friends with someone.
There were no other Spinsters his age and they were all too busy with their webs and crafts to play with the Little Spider.
The poor Little Spider, he could never play with anyone down below, but sometimes he just watched and dream that he did.
He would smile to himself.

"I promise you will never be cold down there. I'll make you jackets and socks, atleast a few pair."
Then they'd be his friends, and never be scared of anything ever again.

He was still a good boy, helping his mummy and daddy until he wasn't so little anymore. He was almost ready to make his own trip down from the Cobwebs. Finally ready to show his own dresses, and stockings, and bowler derbys. To shock and amaze and see the smiling faces. He was all excited, putting on his favorite sweaters and lacing up his tie, and putting on extra special hats for the occasion. Even though it wouldn't be for another week until his birthday, he was excited to even stop moving, pitter pattering up and down, right side up and up side down.

But then something dreadful happened.

The King had sent word that there was something that happened through the lot of the Tangle. The Heart of the Gobbledygook had been taken. While not many knew of what the legend had to do with anything, the terror of turning to stone was very very real.

Even the Spinsters safe in the Cobwebs did not know what would be done. They called meeting after meeting, deciding what to do with the King's Call to the search. Surely the best and the bravest among them would go and help the Tangle, just like all Spinsters did in times of crisis since the Cobwebs were built.

The Little Spider waited at the Entrance of his little ceiling village, waiting for the Spinster hero that would answer the Kings Call.
He wanted to give the hero his lucky bear Ribbit, so that they would never get lonely on walking through the Cobwebs so high above the kingdoms below.

The Little Spider waited. He waited and waited.
But no one ever came.

When he asked his Daddy, his Daddy didn't know. Surely it would be the bravest Spinster that would seek the heart.
When he asked his Mummy, his Mummy didn't know. Surely it would be the kindest Spinster that would seek the heart.

The Little Spider puzzled. This brave and kind Spinster. Where were they? No one else seemed to know.
The Little Spider puzzled and puzzled until he could puzzle no more.
Then he knew why.

Was he brave? Yes, very brave. Was he kind? Oh Yes indeed. Very kind.

That would mean, that it was up to him. Surely it could be nothing else. No one else was coming. He would go out on this periless quest, going and questing and searching for the Heart of the Gobbledygook. He knew that rocks were pretty cold. So if a person was a rock, they'd be cold too! Spinsters couldn't let people go cold no matter if they are from the Below, The Green, The Castle, The Cobwebs, The Tower, The Underbed, or even The Outside! A Spinster that did that? Well they were hardly a Spinster at all!

The Little Spider gathered his things. His basket of wicker, his needles, his threads, his snacks, his drinks, his fiddle and games, and Ribbet of course. And with nary a word to his parents he was on his way, running with all haste and speed to the Gardens Green to meet with King, and the searchers.

The Little Spider was happy again.
No telling who he would meet on this great adventure!
FANTASTIC! I'll make a post tonight!
