You weren't. I'm still waiting on @TheUnknowable's reaction to Kis's dual blade plunge attack.

Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned slow motion in my post..?
Jack 'Bruiser' Murdock - Floor 4 - LOCCENT Mission Control

As the call ended Bruiser hung his head for a second. While it was great to talk to the girls like this at the same time it somehow made it harder each time a call finished, leaving him a million miles away once more.

Rising from his seat Bruiser spotted one of the other pilots hovering nearby, a man almost his own age but with a more rugged, world-worn look about him. Stepping up beside him Bruiser tapped the guy on the shoulder in way of a greeting, something of a habit from his days boxing. "Hey there, ain't you one of the new pilots?" He asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't mistaking one of the techs for somebody else, or something.
@CAS1006

Not really, I just add the new ones to the clusterfuck. >D
I've got to find some way to break him out of his shell and let the inner loquacious Seth out.
@Genni@Pripovednik

As I said in the intro, if things get too saucy you might have to move them to PMs. If I think that's the case I'll get Geoff to send up Hilda to give you a warning.

Actually, sending Hilda up might not be such a good idea. I'll get him to send Barney (the head gnome) instead.
@Sep

Well, I needed a way to make it clear that when Bruiser says he loves the twins, he isn't talking about Tommie's ladylumps.

Bruiser should be done with the call soon, so if you'd like to bump into him in the hallway on your way to use the comm system I'm game. :)
Not sure Kappa's downside is going to affect George at all, he usually states the worst case scenario as a probable outcome anyways. :P

Just trying to work out Kappa's attribute, the ones I know of are:

Alpha Core intelligence - now missing fragments
Beta Failure (Tex)
Gamma Deceit
Delta Logic
Epsilon Memory
Theta Trust
Sigma Ambition
Omega Rage

Kappa Conscientiousness (?)
Chi (?)

I was thinking maybe 'Conscientiousness' since he'd be making George more aware of his surrounding and reacting faster to situations, while at the same time reconsidering his decisions before committing to them?

Would anyone mind me making Kappa female?
@Adorabadass

I feel really bad about giving that horse the evil eye now.
You're the one who was complaining about a lack of character interaction.
@Pripovednik

The room seemed normal enough, with a single bed set against a wall, stretching lengthway into the middle of the room, flanked on both sides by a small nightstand, one with a candlestick with a merrily flickering candle while the other had a large clockwork mechanism which seemed to be designed for telling the time in seventeen different time zones simultaneously, three of which were on different astral planes.

Outside the window a full moon shone down from a clear black sky onto a flawless white beach as dark waves crashed against the sand, which seemed a little stranger, as the Drum was at least two hundred miles from the nearest shoreline and when he'd arrived there'd been a crescent moon in the cloudy sky.

To the left of an entrance was a second door with a small sign which said "Bathroom", which again was a little strange since signs didn't normally talk. Nailed hastily below was a second, handwritten sign which read:
Beware the Jabberwock!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
. - H

To the right was a large dressing table, its ancient wooden surface dented and worn. On top rested a tray of overturned cups, a large jug and a small iron cage inside of which sat a ting flickering fire sprite. Beside the cage was another sign, which read:
Do NOT let Fiona
out of her cage
She will EAT you!
. - H

Noticing that someone had entered the room the fire sprite, who was presumably the Fiona referred to on the sign, looked up at Elderi with a cute little smile and asked, "Would you like me to make you some tea?"
