Jack 'Bruiser' Murdock - Floor 4 - LOCCENT Mission Control

Nodding at the fellow family man Bruiser stepped aside and let him pass, not wanting to delay the man from contacting his family any longer. Checking his watch the old copper saw it was almost ten at night back home, which was the real reason he didn't want to reset the thing to local time. It was a link to his family, letting him guess what they were doing at any time just by picturing their daily routine each time he looked at his watch.

Realising he still had a little time to spare before heading for the training session Bruiser headed towards the surface stairway. If he was lucky perhaps the snow had stopped and he could have a quick cigarette out on the airfield in peace, if not then he was sure the mechanics wouldn't mind him finding a quiet corner somewhere for a quick rollie.
Anyone have particular things they wish to achieve IC yet?

I'd like to have a chance for Som to get beaten up by one of the Sith while in custody, if only to show how passive he can be even in the face of adversity. Been waiting for a few more of the Jedi to post before making another featuring Generic Sith #1, Generic Sith #2 and their good friend Chuckles the Happy Elf (also known as Generic Sith #3) since no-one got back to me about taking on the roles of my captors at all.
I'm a writer who just finished writing a comic book for a company in Japan, and I have so many ideas I have to rest my head in a bucket of ice water just to get to sleep.

What sort of themes do you usually enjoy writing about?
No problem, between fire sprites and magic swords they'll have burnt the whole place down by then.
@Dragonite777 I was thinking more surgical table, overhead lighting, oxygen tank, anesthesia, intravenous feed with several bags of Owl's blood type, heart monitor...

I suppose Patch could just slice her open in the middle of the parking lot while waiting for enemy reinforcements to arrive at any second, but if he does then Owl's most likely going to lose the use of that arm for the next few years, possibly longer without some serious reconstructive physiotherapy.

Perhaps one of the gadgeteers could whip up a supportive brace which could take over the function of her pectoral and deltoid muscles until they grow back?
The4 cratiest crate of cratiness in all of cratedom.

On the weekend I'll be writing the next 300 pages, and getting the scripts to the artists in time for next week so they can draw them up by midweek.

Oh, the glamourous life of a writer.
My internet connection's a little too dodgy for that, plus I'm needing bandwidth for work stuff at the moment. Have about 300 pages of high resolution comics to download, proofread and get back to the publishers by the weekend.
@CAS1006

From what I've seen of Pokemon games they use a similar mechanic to a lot of Japanese games, which is random loot drops. The only difference is that the 'random loot' are the creatures you encounter. The only way to collect them all is to mindlessly repeat the same hunting procedure until the random drop gives you the animal you need. In some cases this could be over in a few iterations, but in some you can be doing the same low-level fights hundreds of time before finally finding the one creature you were after. Only for it to then run away.

I hate games like that, where it's not so much how skillful you are or how well you manage your team, but how lucky you are with the random number generator.
