Cassie watched the girl storm off, and she rolled her eyes. It wasn't a choice for her, as some people thought. No... Cassie had to protect this girl the best she could. She turned her back, hearing the echo of her scream and she was outside nearly as fast as Klaus was. Marcel, eh?

"Oh, I will make him regret this." She said, and Damon got out to them, looking at Cassie whose eyes were veined over as she flipped over a car.

"What is your problem?" Damon asked, and Cassie flashed before him.

"Leave it to a Salvatore to screw stuff up. You bring bad omens everywhere you go." She said, and Damon felt his own eyes vein over. "And the Petrova doppelgangers are your vice. Chasing Katerina, taking Elena from Stefan. You just can't stay away from big players in the balance of nature, can you?"

"No one asked you to come here." Damon said, and Cassie chuckled.

"You have some right to talk. I saved your ass, and obviously you are super protector. I hope that your clean up skills are better than this." She said, and when Damon growled at her, he saw her disappear into the woods.

What was he doing? He needed to find Anya, and sitting there with Klaus wouldn't help any. "How do we get her back?" He asked.

Cassie looked to Klaus and shrugged. "If I do, I do, oh well. I have been loyal to witches since the day I was born, and they give me perks." She said, and she closed her eyes, turning out of the town and heading in the opposite direction of the Quarter. It was a feeling she had, and she looked to Klaus. "Hope you don't mind a small detour. I have this odd feeling, I think it's my hunting instincts taking over."

When he told her his plans, she nodded. "Then let's make a deal. I help you, and you help me. That witch might be able to work magic on you, but something tells me this witch I have to protect, with proper care, will give her a run for her money." She said. "Marcel is easy enough to weasel into. A pretty face and a better act I can have him eating from my palm. You just need to keep me in his good graces." Her eyes looked to him. And then black cars passed them, speeding viciously.

Damon looked outside at Anya's voice. These were serious hunters. He would be able to fend them off, but he wasn't sure for how long, and with Anya thete, she trumped him. He quickly moved and took out one, snapping their neck anf watching them fall to the ground. He dodged a stake, but took another in the shoulder. Another black car showed up and he groaned.

"Anya!" He shouted, quickly getting between her and a hunter, taking a stke in his lower back. He groaned, pulling it out before falling to his knees. Things seemed grim, but he heard a neck snap and saw the hunter behind him, aiming to get him in the heart fall at the hands of the vampire from the night before.

"Klaus! Good thing we weren't far off." She called, and she looked over the witch and she pulled the stake out of Damon's shoulder. "You alright Salvatore?"

"Who were they?" He coughed, getting to hos feet

"Hunters. Alright ones, had they been less ameteratic, you would have been dead or dealing with a witch whose powers went out of control." She answered.

"What the hell?"

"Hey, to be honest, you gave them a hell of a fight, but you don't ever underestimate the enemy." She said, walking over to Anya. "My name is Cassie. I am going to help protect you, from afar albiet, but I will."

Damon sighed, seeing Klaus, and struggling over to the Original. "We are missing a couple of hunters, there was another car outside with three."
