Ginger Tee — Roleplayer Guild

Hello! Welcome one and all to my shiny new interest check. It has been a hot second since I made one of these. My name is Tee (she/her) and I am looking for some new writing partners! At this time, I am probably only looking for 1-2 new partners, since I have been struggling with some writer’s block the last few months and I don’t want to overdo it and be juggling too many RPs at once. That being said, I have listed my plot ideas down below that I have been craving. So please take a gander, and if anything sparks your interest, please send me a PM!

Quick boring stuff:
18+ (21+ preferred) partner since I am well over that age.
Smut can be included, however, it will not be the main focus of the roleplay at all. Any smut scenes must make sense to the plot, and sometimes I will ask to fade to black because I am not always in the mindset to write out smut. Also, if smut is to be included, all characters must be 18+ (even if doing a school age RP).
I don’t want to put a minimum on how much my partner writes, but I am looking for quality over quantity and also I need things to work with for my post. I do consider myself an advanced writer (700-1000 words) because I enjoy getting into details and emotions.
Post frequency is again not something I am going to be pushy about, but if I don’t hear from you OOC or IC within a week or so, I will give you a little bump. If I am really enjoying a roleplay, sometimes a sudden halt in posting can be very unsettling and muse-breaking. So if you know you will be gone for a while, please let me know.
I won’t say I am ghost friendly… I am just ghost tolerant. I have been on this site long enough to know ghosting at any stage of a RP can happen, and it sucks, but it is what it is. I would still appreciate a message that you are dropping, or maybe a willingness to discuss things and see if we can figure out what may be wrong. But also sometimes people just don’t click. Our writing styles, our ideas, whatever it may be, it happens.

Ok that is enough of that… onto the fun stuff!

All my plots will have romance in them. Sorry, this is non-negotiable. In terms of my pairings, I honestly am looking for mainly FxF or MxM. I will do MxF, but I will only play female in that pairing. I am just not able to get into the mindset of a heterosexual man. I am also open to your character being trans/non-binary, but all my characters will be cis-gendered. And just as a little note- I absolutely loooveeee playing against buff, muscular, tall masc-presenting women. So if that is a character you like to play, hit me up!  

Below are all the rough plot ideas I have. All these ideas, I am pretty open to discussing elements and coming up with different ideas together. In fact, I love brainstorming with a partner in OOC, though I am also cool with just going with the flow and seeing where things may go. A mix of both is honestly ideal.

Each plot, I will list whether it is fxf, mxm, or mxf. And if I want to play a specific role it will be in bold.

Werewolf x human
fxf, mxm

This plot is very, very, very loosely based on Twilight. Not even really, just one concept from it. It does not, and honestly preferably not, take place in the Twilight AU. It would just be a modern SOL with fantasy elements involved. What I am borrowing from the books, which I’m sure came from other sources before that, is the idea of imprinting.

So your character is a werewolf. We can discuss if they are a lone wolf, or in a pack, though I think having a pack will add to the dynamic of it. They can even communicate telepathically as well, but when it comes to the werewolf lore and ideas, I am open to my partner's ideas. 

My character will be a human that the werewolf has never met. We could come up with any scenario really on how they meet for the first time. But when they do, your character would immediately imprint on the human and their entire reality basically shifts to now prioritize this person in their life above all others.

We can play around with so many ideas, like, is the existence of werewolves known? How will the human take the news when they realize? As mentioned above, this will be heavily romance based, and with the given imprinting, it will be a bit more fast paced. But it doesn’t have to be like immediate ‘I love yous’, but just them bonding and getting to know one another rather quickly.

Capitol Citizen x Victor
FxF (this is one where I would realllly love your character to be a more masc woman)

This would take place sometime before or during the 74th games. So we can set it during Katniss and Peeta’s first games, or it can be a game before that. Basically, your character is a victor from a previous game and is now a mentor. What district they are from is totally up to you.

My character is a Capitol citizen and is the daughter/apprentice of a stylist. She has started to question things over the years about how the Capitol treats all the tributes and districts, and so when she meets your character for the first time, she finds herself in awe. They quickly develop feelings during the pre-game moments since the stylist and mentor spend so much time with the tributes to the days leading up to the games.

There is lots of room to grow with it. Maybe your character is part of the resistance and brings my character on board to help. Endless possibilities.

MxM, FxF (mxm preferred)
Shy x Popular (I am open to either role)

This is a very simple, though cute idea I have loved doing in the past. Basically, the two characters have crushes on each other, but don’t have the guts to admit it (whether they are friends or just know of each other we can discuss). So the shy character starts to write love letters to the popular character anonymously. And eventually the truth is revealed and they start to date.

See, as simple as that. So many places we could take it. I am ok with doing high school or college age. Though again reminder, if we include smut, the characters must be 18+).

Sick x Healer (open to either, but lean slightly towards sick character)
MxM, FxF (mxm preferred)

WWI just ended and the soldiers are coming home. They have been to hell and back, but unfortunately, they weren’t the only ones. A friend (and secret crush) of the soldier became very ill during the time of the war. The soldier’s best friend is the sick person’s sibling and they comes to him for help since the soldier was a medic during the war. It is heartbreaking to see their secret love in such poor condition, so they take to nursing them immediately. But the sick person will be so ashamed and refuse help starting out.

I do not expect historical accuracy at all, more just the understanding of the era it would take place in.

Ok before I say anything, I do nottttt claim JK Rowling anymore. She can lose all her money and popularity for all I care. That being said, I do still love the world of Harry Potter, but I am not going to be insanely picky about canon. Especially since I am looking to do Marauder Era pairings. We only have so many glimpses of how the boys acted at Hogwarts, so I am allowing myself and us to use creative freedom.

That being said, this will take place while they are at Hogwarts. 

For Remus x Sirius, I am open to playing either role. But I do think it would be fun to really focus on Remus’ battle being a werewolf and how much it affects his mental health. And how much Sirius wants to be there for them. 

For James x Severus, I would like to play Severus. This relationship is obviously very taboo, and I can see it being a bit toxic in some regards. At least in public, in private, James can be very caring and tender.

Cursed x Savior
MxM, FxF, MxF (mxm preferred)

This plot is based on a Thai drama I'm watching, but I am open to trying things out own way. Essentially, there will be a character who is cursed to die by a certain age for XYZ reason. The Savior is the one who helps to break the curse and they fall in love in the process. In the show, it is a shaman who helps the cursed character, but we could play around with maybe other magical folk. So if you have a character that fits the idea, I am all open to hearing your idea.

I do want to set this in a modern world, but it can be an AU or take place somewhere where shamans are more common (or Asia).

Mafia boss x civilian (I lean more towards civilian but I'm open to playing Mafia boss)
MxM

This is a slightly different take on the mafia boss idea. Yes, we can most definitely include the action and danger of being with a Mafia boss, but I want to add a twist. While the Mafia boss is powerful and feared, secretly he is actually just a big dork. Growing up almost sheltered in a way, for his protection, he lacks a lot of social cues to interact with an "everyday person". So when he meets the civilian who is just an average person, he acts a bit over the top and cheesy in pursuit of them. The civilian will be confused and a bit weirded out at first, but will eventually learn that they are being sincere.

100 year old x Reincarnated Person

Our characters were in love in the 1920s-at the time they were male and female. The female comes from a rich and powerful family and the male is poor person. Details of their history can be discussed.

One of them dies suddenly and the person left behind goes to a shaman/someone magical, who gives them some kind of magical token that allows them to live and not age for 100 years while they wait for their love to reincarnate. They search for decades for their true love, but once the 100 years is up, they will die and not be able to reincarnate again if they do not reconnect with their true love. In the final year of the magic, they finally find them, except the person is the same sex as them!

Ok that is all I have for now, but I will definitely add more ideas as they come to me. If you have any ideas that you may think I would like, please feel free to send them my way. The worst I can say is no, and even then I will do it in the most polite, millennial way lol.
