So I was listening to a song called 'Midas' by an artist called Skott and it sorry of sparked an idea. Now I will preface this by saying, I am looking for a partner who can get me develop the idea more and also has a good understanding of the 8th century world and some of the myths that go with it. I don't know much to be honest- I just know Midas was a king who I believe the gods gifted him the golden touch so that anything he touched turned to gold. 

I'm not looking for full accuracy, and since it is a myth, I think it gives us the freedom to play around. I am looking for someone to play Midas and I would be playing their love interest- I am happy to play male or female. 

The basic idea of the plot is that Midas falls in love with my character, but because of his gift, though it starts to feel like a curse, he cannot touch them. And so then it becomes this internal battle he has about whether he wants to give up his gift or not for his beloved. 

That's all I've got for now. I'm open to suggestions- I'm even open to an AU where it's more modern day or something idk. But PM if this is up your alley. 

Oh and few quick things: 

1. 18+ (21+ preferred) since I'm will over 18 and regardless of smut, I'm not comfortable RPing with anyone under age. 

2. As for smut, I am not against it, but it will not be the main focus of the RP at all. Any smut must make sense to the plot and I may request fade to black on occasion. 

3. Posting frequency is not important to me, I just ask if you think it will be more than like 3-4 days to let me know. And I will do the same for you. 

4. I'm going to say advanced, but length is not as important to me as the quality of the writing and if you give me something to work with. But you can probably expect 1000-1500 words from me on average, with certain times being less or more.

Would anyone here be interested in a very cheesy, fluffy, though still dramatic SOL MxM rp? 

Just looking for the ever classic pairing of jock x nerd (popular x unpopular). I am willing to play either role. We can go dark with some themes- perhaps the nerd/bullying faces a lot of bullying, or maybe abuse at home? Honestly, I'm open to a lot.

A few things first...

18+ partner (21+ preferred) please.
If smut of any kind is to be included (which this will not be a smut heavy RP) then the characters must be 18+. With that said, I'm open to high school or college age.
Casual- advanced is usually my go-to, but really it's just about the story telling. Help me move it along. Even if your response is only a paragraph or two that's fine, as long as I have something to work with.
I would love to get to everyday posting, or at least every other day. But real life always comes first. But if you think it will be more than a week until you can respond, please let me know.
I only RP in the PMs on here. Also I do like to use face claims, but I understand if that isn't your preference.
