Cassie felt herself be pushed and she shoved back, her eyes veining over. She was pissed. "How stupid am I? Really Klaus. You know without me, you guys won't survive them." She said. She looked to the ground. "Besides, I have a plan. If you don't trust me, fine, but don't doubt me."

She took one of her knives and threw it in the air before catching it. "Just keep a close eye on the town." She said. "I know I will be."

A loud bang was heard and she felt sharp pain in her shoulder andnsaw she was bleeding. Wood bullets. She hissed, "Get out of here, Klaus." She said, and she threw her knife.

"The vampire, I am assuming. Female. Pretty. Old world beauty at that." The man said, pulling the knife from hos shoulder. "Good thing I knew about you, Cassandra. The Salem witches may have thought you were their trump card, but we'll see."

He hit her again in the stomach with a wooden bullet. "You're going to regret this." She coughed, her eyes veining over again.

"Not at all." He said, shooting her again and when she was down he snapped her neck. "Come on boys, I have plans for this one."

"Yeah, Gerard." One said as they picked Cassie up.

Damon looked to Anya and was relieved to see her awake. "You were attacked. I got to you before they could hurt you too bad." He answered. "You have an herbal compound in your system, if you watch your wounds, they're healing rather quickly."

Just then Rebekah burst in. "Elijah. Since I can't find Niklaus. We have a huge problem. Hunters."

Damon rose a brow. "That Cassie chick can handle it "

Rebekah shook her head. "That's the problem. I overheard some of it. They have Salem witches, and Cassie. You know witches can fully reawaken her hunter side."

Damon rose a brow, and looked to Anya. They were after the witches obviously, and if they reawakened a hunter like Cassie, he didn't know what they would do.

"Whrre is Klaus?" Damon asked.

"I am going to look for him and Marcel, see if one of the witches can use a spell to find Cassie. I know we're screwed if this really is Project Purify." She said, heading out and Damon looked to Anya.

"We're going to need your help. If you want, I can give you some of my blood to finish healing " Damon told her.

Cassie nodded to Klaus before she walked back over to Marcel. "He won't talk." He said, and Cassie sighed, her hand plunging into her bag as she took out a blade. She cut into the vampire, deep and watched it heal. Then she took the blade and dipped it in vervain and repeated. Hearing him scream.

"Now, now, tell the man who you are working for and what you want with the Quarter." She said, and he gasped.

"Project Purify... we need the witches here. We got the Salem ones, and now we need these witches for a ritual." He caved, and Cassie heard his phone ringing and she pulled it out and put it on speaker. She mouth for him to speak. "Hello."

"Daniel, are you there yet? We need these witches." He asked, impatient.

"Not quite, but boss, you need to know there is a huge threat, a vampire" he began, but Cassie hung up and ripped out his heart.

"Bad move." She hissed, looking to Marcel. "Been fun. We should do this again sometime."

Damon was surprised that he was recieving any help, but he didn't care as he followed Elijah to the manor. Hayley was there and she was showing a bump whete her stomach was. A baby.

"What happened to her?" She asked, following Elijah and Damon up into a room where they placed Anya down. "Who is she?"

"Her name is Anya, she is a witch." Damon said before he took the vial and practically forced Anya's unconscious body to swallow it. Coming from Cassie, he knew it was for her. Shortly after, he examined her ankle. It was broken, bad, and she probably wouldn't heal well... not without vampire blood.

He went to feed her some, but Elijah stopped him. "No. Not without her consent. Remember the last time tou did this." He said, and Damon cursed, pylling up a chair beaide Anya.
