Welcome to Wonderland... Asylum that is
WHISPERS IN THE DARK-SKILLET
For years now it seemed, an asylum known only as Wonderland had gone off the grid, only housing those who were insane enough to know that not all was as it seemed there. Above their arch ways, "We're All Mad Here" is etched, but no one ever wondered why. That was until the last patient was admitted. No visitors ever came for these patients, it was as if no one even cared, but Alice, the last patient admitted, was barely insane enough to be committed period. So why was she brought here?
Because, not all is as it seems in Wonderland Asylum. It's not just cut and dry where patients take their medication and sit in nice padded rooms when they're becoming both dangers to themselves and others... No, no... Much more goes on here. There is magic there, and it makes the patients wonder if the reality of the asylum is real, or the world they can go to is.
The Asylum itself is like any other Psych ward. The nurses probably could do their job better, the patients fight to take their scheduled meds, and often times the abuse of the staff is downright wrong. The therapists are just feeding the fire too, they feed the patients that they will help them with their
illnesses if they even have one to begin with. Then the patients... Well... All of them are insane to some degree or another. But, there is one issue with the entire place... It transports the patients into a beautiful place where again, not all is as it seems.
Wonderland, a world that the patients enter in times of high stress or even in their dreams, is a shared vision. When one goes, they all go, unless something is wrong in the asylum half and one cannot find their way there. Wonderland, however, as beautiful and crazy as the place may seem has it's own problems as well. The King, Jabberwocky, and the Red Queen have been quarreling for ages now, and it has been up to the patients, in their time there, to fix Wonderland.
Because who know, perhaps if Wonderland is fixed, perhaps they Asylum will cease to exit. But if Wonderland falls, perhaps the Asylum will consume it.
