Being on both sides of the feud isn't easy, but he manages only because he never deals directly with Jackie, only with Logan. He honestly would rather Jackie got rot in a hole because he knows both sides of the feud and where it really started. He tries to middle of the road a lot of the fights and is often the first to step in and stop them. Despite his age, being half vampire and half shadow demon gives him a bit of an edge on others, but he dares not fuck with the leaders of the groups.

Additionally, he managed to overcome severe bloodlust issues with the help of both groups before the feud, but with the stress he is having minor issues again.
